High resolution images of boiling phenomena were obtained sequentially by digital camera with high shutter speed. The images in the sequence were processed manually and analyzed by semiautomatic evaluation programs to obtain feature points data. The experiment was conducted at low pressure (<1atm) and moderately low heat fluxes in nucleate boiling region to facilitate feature detection. Data generated from feature detection by ‘Speeded Up Robust Feature’ algorithm based local interest point detector was then analyzed by statistical techniques. Manipulation of statistical distribution parameter leads to a system-specific stochastic model development. The developed model fairly predicts natural convective boiling and different sub-stages of nucleate boiling including bubbling characteristic offering qualitative information about the boiling condition in appreciably short amount of time. Such detection technique could expedite noninvasive control around Critical Heat Flux region in industrial boiling systems for transparent liquids. The context of a broader model is to be investigated.","PeriodicalId":427838,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115200232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Efforts expended to solve the functions using analytical or numerical solutions consume time and distract attention from the objectives of modeling itself. This research work presents the use of Simulink and MATLAB toolbox of MATLAB software as modeling and coding platform for the study of the nuclear reactor behaviors. The system models of heat transfer, law of radionuclide decay process, xenon poisoning and samarium poisoning are developed within the MATLAB-Simulink environment. An analysis of different parameters in case of the loss of coolant accident under running condition of six kinds of Reactors (ACP100, VVER1200, NuScale, ESBWR, AP1000 and ABWR) is also conducted in this research. The simulations are conducted by using the prototype Personal Computer Transient Analyzer (PCTRAN) software. In this simulation, the default parameters are used for all six types of reactors related to the power, pressure, flow level, reactivity and temperature change. This analysis shows the potential hazard of these reactors due to power, pressure, flow level, reactivity and temperature changing effect during reactor power operation.","PeriodicalId":427838,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114767012","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specially, peoples of under developed and developing countries are greatly affected by CVD. Due to the incremental rising of cardiac patients for CVD in Bangladesh, death from sudden heart failure also increased considerably. Therefore, for ensuring rapid treatment and monitoring of a CVD patient, this paper proposes a low cost healthcare system for the CVD patients of Bangladesh based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Bio-sensors which will help the doctors to monitor a cardiac patient constantaniously in hospital or home from remote location. In this system, the hardware part consists of three different sensors for collecting the temperature, ECG, and pulse rate data from patient body. Then, the collected data can be sent to a cloud server for storage using local Wi-Fi network, and also a website is designed to monitor the measured data by the doctor. In case of any critical condition, the doctor and some family members of the patient can be notified using a messaging mechanism. After successful implementation of the proposed system, it works properly for CVD patients. From cost analysis, it can be seen that the cost of the proposed system looks cheaper than some other existing devices, and it will cost within $80 to $100 which is comparatively cheaper for a low income country like Bangladesh.","PeriodicalId":427838,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125088568","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cloud computing which is built on the Internet has the most robust architecture of computation. In this work, we have proposed a cloud infrastructure. P-Cloud (Personal Cloud) for leasing computing resources appending non-cloud resources such as laptops, PCs, clusters and enterprise servers. Generally, infrastructure resource providers are responsible for providing infrastructure resources, however, the proposed P-Cloud deals with personal resources. P-Cloud permits a huge number of excess computing resources, on the scale of hundreds of millions, to be leased out to cloud users. By sharing of such resources allows resource owners to earn from idle resources, and cloud users to have a cost-efficient auxiliary to vast cloud service providers. In this work, we mainly focus to develop strategies to make relations between the users and resource owners where the two have opposite goals as well as how to fulfill their requirements mainly user satisfaction and system profit. The proposed system makes a platform between the user group and the resource owner group. Finally, the proposed system is implemented in CloudSim Plus.","PeriodicalId":427838,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124199589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We showed a step by step procedure to formalise a multi-objective Markov decision process (MOMDP) to make a simulated environment for predicting water quality resilience in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. A common approach to solve a historical dataset is supervised learning. However, if we turn the problem into a multi-objective optimisation problem in a dynamic environment, the traditional approach may not be suitable or can have difficulties to be implemented. Notwithstanding, if we want to address this problem using a simulated environment (e.g. gaming environment) and give an opportunity to the agent to learn from the environment by itself through trial and error method, it could have brought human level expertise in such a complex constrained environment. An intelligent agent traverses this environment to determine the compromising solutions among objectives to predict resilient areas. The outcome revealed that a water quality dataset can be modelled into a reinforcement learning settings that is predominantly used to solve sequential decision making. This innovative method may solve many other intractable engineering problems with the help of deep reinforcement learning.","PeriodicalId":427838,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126256314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the rising popularity of micro-blogging websites like Facebook, Twitter etc., Bangla Language speakers’ tendency to use code-mixing and transliteration is increasing as well. Manually checking and removing abusive comments from public websites can get tedious, which is undesirable in the present day of technological automation. In this paper, we propose a method to detect abusive comments using Machine Learning algorithms. This paper works not only with Bangla text but also with Bangla-English code-mixed text and transliterated Bangla text. The proposed method involves great amount of preprocessing as a result of people’s disregard for correct spelling, grammar and punctuation when it comes to writing comments on the internet. For the dataset, we collected comments from public Facebook pages along with the number of likes they got. For features, we used Unigrams, Bigrams, number of likes, emojis along with their categories, sentiment scores, offensive and threatening words used in the comments, detected using our proposed algorithm, and the number of abusive words in each comment. The aforementioned algorithm can detect profanitypes too. After experimenting with three Machine Learning algorithms, namely Support Vector Machine, Random Forest, and Adaboost, the proposed method achieved a highest accuracy of 72.14%.","PeriodicalId":427838,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET)","volume":"443 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128349355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A smart city is focused on a smart grid that enables intelligent management of the electric grid. To make this happen, the network must have smart meters capable of duplex communication with the network. This industry has resulted in a spread of intelligent meters providing a chance to assess the consumption of each unit in households. The aim of this initiative is to create a popular chip based IoT electrical meter that will capture all meter information and transmit the required meter information to the main server by means of wireless communication. In the main server, all meter information will be handled, and the required choices will be made using the main server. Regarding pending fees, the server would inform the customer and then disconnect the line if needed. In cases of tampering, the server would respond immediately and sever the line. Experimental findings in this work demonstrate the accuracy of the readings produced using the smart device created.","PeriodicalId":427838,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127066534","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to extract maximum power from PV systems, focusing on maximum power point tracking (MPPT) techniques has no alternative as generated power from PV system fluctuates significantly due to variations in atmospheric temperature and irradiation. Viability of using Perturb & Observe algorithm as MPPT control technique with proposed SEPIC in PV application has been also evaluated in this paper. A comparative simulation has been accomplished using PSIM9 at various duty cycles for both conventional and proposed SEPIC in order to maximize the voltage gain at convenient higher efficiency. This act jeopardizes the privacy of many users and consequently, ongoing research has been carried out to find detection tools and to develop existing solutions. Classifiers based on machine learning can be used to detect phishing websites effectively and therefore, various machine learning classification algorithms i.e. Naive Bayes, J48 and HNB are implemented and compared through this research. In addition, performance of a classifier combining HNB and J48 was also closely observed as a solution to the stated problem. The study proposes a novel manual feature selection approach and presents a comparative study with Filter method feature selection techniques. The dataset used in this research is collected from UCI machine learning repository, has 2670 instances and 30 attributes of website structure. The empirical result indicated that the Address bar based feature group achieved the highest accuracy in detecting phishing website. In addition, two top algorithms, HNB and J48, were developed for an integrated multi-classified process. The findings have shown that combining techniques results in 96.25% accuracy in the identification of phishing websites for all apps.","PeriodicalId":427838,"journal":{"name":"2019 2nd International Conference on Innovation in Engineering and Technology (ICIET)","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114632997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
