He has no previous history of cerebral vascular accident (CVA) or coronary heart disease (CHD). He has been treated on insulin therapy, and recently his glucose variability became worse due to the irregular lifestyle. Then, diabetic treatment was changed to Xultophy, which consists of insulin degludec and liraglutide. Providing 16 units of Xultophy brought him a satisfactory daily profile of blood glucose, which seemed to be lower doses compared with the ordinary standard amount. Treatment of Xultophy seems to be effective and some discussion would be described from several points of view.","PeriodicalId":426508,"journal":{"name":"Biomedical Science Journal","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131313251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The reason includes large reaction power obtained from the ground. Concerning continuous unloading squat training, important factors are adequate posture, weight, and reflexes. We developed effective unloading squat training accompanied with rhythmic music, in which reggae music is recommended for its clear afterbeats. There are three important tips for successful and satisfactory operation of the exercise, which are relaxed standing, hip joint movement, and neck stretch. This method will be hopefully used for clinical practice.","PeriodicalId":426508,"journal":{"name":"Biomedical Science Journal","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122056527","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Authors have continued the management of Integrative Medicine Japan (IMJ) and music therapy session for long. For its session, we tried dual tasks of singing and exercise, stimulating the function of tongue, lips, pharynx, and larynx, sign language (SL). There are some kinds of timbre in music, such as tuning fork, music instruments, and electric sound. These groups seem to be adequate for elderly relaxation in sessions, performance in art/culture, and alarm clock buzzer/specific purpose, respectively.","PeriodicalId":426508,"journal":{"name":"Biomedical Science Journal","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130233794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) emphasizes the exercise prescription with recommendations of assessment for all occasions and for all. It includes the crucial concepts of FITT-VP, which stand for frequency, intensity, time, type, volume, and progression (pattern). When a physical therapist or trainer advises the subjects, the specific exercise goals would be set as feasible short-term goals. The formation of exercise habits would be more significant even if the goal cannot be achieved. From bio-psycho-social points of view, subjects will be supported by an adequate manner for a successful life with happy sports.","PeriodicalId":426508,"journal":{"name":"Biomedical Science Journal","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124102720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

BSJ covers wider fields of biomedical science. Medical practice has bio-psycho-social aspects. This is characteristic of primary care (PC), integrative medicine (IM), and psychosomatic medicine (PSM). Among them, important concepts include ACCCC of PC, Hinohara-ism, and New Elderly Association (NEA) by Dr. Shigeaki Hinohara, patient-oriented medicine, evidence-based medicine (EBM), narrative-based medicine (NBM). The goal of the medicine would be the health of the body and soul with happiness. Subjective well-being can be evaluated by the Subjective Happiness Scale (SHS). Significant and meaningful reports in BSJ would be expected to contribute much to the happiness of people across the world.","PeriodicalId":426508,"journal":{"name":"Biomedical Science Journal","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116283385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
