Indicators of beauty in ornamental fish can be seen in the brilliant color, physical shape and completeness, behavior, and health conditions or stamina. These koi fish are often used as aquarium decorations and are art consumption for enthusiasts. The beauty of the color of Koi fish is in demand by the community so that farmers need to maintain the color of ornamental fish by providing feed that contains color pigments. Carotenoids are the main natural components that make up color pigments, which have a good effect on red and orange colors. Sources of carotenoids can come from spirulina which contains phycocyanin, chlorophyll-a, and carotene. Carotene is composed of xantophyll (37%), carotene (28%), and zeaxanthin (17%). Providing a source of color pigment in fish feed is one of the efforts made to get a bright color that is evenly distributed in fish. Feeding containing 8% spirulina was effective in increasing color pigmentation in the red swordtail (Xiphophorus helleri). The addition of 1.2% spirulina flour to artificial feed gave a very significant effect on increasing color intensity and was the highest result in increasing color intensity of Koi fish.","PeriodicalId":426418,"journal":{"name":"AJARCDE (Asian Journal of Applied Research for Community Development and Empowerment)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134007511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bali's pig population in Bali Province from 2017-2019 decreased by 27.51%. Likewise, it also occurs in Buleleng Regency by 26.09% and in Pejarakan Village, Gerokgak District, Buleleng Regency by approximately 50%. Some of the factors that influence this decline include feed management and the farming system. Likewise, related to the provision of animal feed ingredients derived from food crops such as corn, bananas, and peanuts, the partners have not really understood in an effort to increase the productivity of these food crops as animal feed.  Based the enormous potential and opportunity for Balinese pigs and felt very profitable by the Suka Nadi Peasant Women's Group (KWT) in Pejarakan Village which is located 145 km from the provincial capital with a total of 28 members now still doing Balinese pig farming business on a small scale/household even though it experiences a mortality rate of 25% because in its maintenance it is still with an extensive farming system and makeshift feed. The death of the livestock is caused by being crushed by the mother and getting sick because the livestock lacks the nutrients and feed provided. The problem is that partners do not really understand efforts to increase the productivity of Bali pig livestock, especially regarding the management of the provision and feeding of their livestock. The solution provided is to provide an understanding of knowledge and skills about efforts to increase the productivity of local pig livestock, especially regarding the management of the provision and feeding with fermented feed technology and efforts to increase the productivity of food crops as animal feed ingredients. The method were surveys, interviews, discussions, counseling/training in theory and practice as well as monitoring and evaluation. The output produced is that partners have understood about efforts to increase the productivity of Bali pigs and food crops (corn) as animal feed ingredients and are able to make fermented animal feed so that the provision of feed is more quality, effective and efficient and the partners have a place to make small-scale fermented feed/households.","PeriodicalId":426418,"journal":{"name":"AJARCDE (Asian Journal of Applied Research for Community Development and Empowerment)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131410464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Until now, the source of organic fertilizer that can actually be used from solid and liquid rabbit manure in Candikuning Village is still not carried out further processing to improve the quality of rabbit manure as a nutrient source fertilizer for plants.  This opportunity can actually be used by livestock farmer groups in Candikuning Village as an opportunity to supply organic fertilizer from solid and liquid rabbit manure.  The group's problem is that solid and liquid rabbit manure has not been processed optimally, there is no house where the drying and fermentation process has not been carried out, and packaging and labeling have not been carried out. Therefore, partner groups need to be facilitated from the aspects of processing technology and improving the quality of rabbit waste, packaging and labeling, product quality testing in the laboratory, and partner group business management. This PKM program is carried out in livestock farming groups in Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency-Bali Province.  The method used to achieve the goal is through socialization, counseling, mentoring, training, and the application of technology with direct practice in the field. In this activity, the output target that has been achieved is that the partner group is independently able to utilize solid and liquid rabbit manure waste into \"SOF\" (Solid Organic Fertilizer) and \"LOF\" (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) with good quality has been packaged and labeled so that it can compete in the market and increase the income of the partner group.","PeriodicalId":426418,"journal":{"name":"AJARCDE (Asian Journal of Applied Research for Community Development and Empowerment)","volume":"408 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123560343","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, that takes alternative energy or a new innovation is aiming to review the use of fuel oil. One such alternative is hydrogen fuel use (H2). Gas to obtain a review of hydrogen gas can be carried with how to break the air compounds (H2O) into hydrogen gas hydrogen-oxygen (HHO) or brown namely through electrolysis. Electrolysis of water is the decomposition of the compound water into oxygen and hydrogen gas by using an electric current through the water. Current will conduct electricity to the electrodes so that there will be a reduction reaction in the cathode and form hydrogen gas. Speeding up the electrolysis process required an electrolyte solution a solution that conducts electricity. In general electrolysis, processes are undertaken to produce oxygen gas and hydrogen gas using an alkaline solution.  The alkaline solution used is a seawater electrolyte. The solution is a strong electrolyte that can conduct electric current well. The electrodes used are stainless steel pipe which is resistant to corrosion with insulating material added cotton fabric that serves as an insulator or barrier zone between the cathode and the anode. By designing a hydrogen fuel generator, hydrogen gas may be generated based on the effect of electric current. Variations of the electrical current used is 3 A, 6 A, 9 A, 12 A, 15 A, 18 A, and 21 A. The higher the electrical current supplied to the production of hydrogen gas will be many more. The Sulong Edukalidad, a move of the Department of Education to innovate Philippine Education under COVID-19 provided online training and webinars which prepared Filipino teachers in facing the new normal of the education setting. One of which is the utilization of the e-book Kotobee Readers as an interactive learning tool. E-books are one of the many software and programs being developed to enhance teaching in the field of education. E-books are publications that can give students information and instructions in the form of multimedia flexibly and efficiently, thereby supporting and improving learning.   In this regard, our team aims to explore the potential of the utilization of the e-book Kotobee reader as an interactive learning tool in developing 8th Grade Mathematical skills during the Covid-19 pandemic, focusing on the average percentage of the participants before and after the utilization of the e-book, their level of performance during the utilization of the said learning material, the challenges encountered by the participants and also identifying the positive traits of Kotobee that helped the students learn.    The research design to be used for this research will be a quasi-experimental approach.  This research design is intended for an interventional study used to estimate the impact of an interactive–based lesson using the Kotobee e-book on the Grade 8 students in developing their mathematical skills The participants involved in this research are the selected Grade 8 – Rose learners in Mataas na Paaralang Neptali A. Gonzales.     Our team implemented a series of interventions about topics in Quarter III which the lectures and activities can be found in the said e- book. Students’ usage of the Kotobee e-book app on a daily basis was tracked in an Inquiry report. Students’ scores in each activity will be tallied at the end of each quarter for assessment. This will assist us in determining how well the students performed after they have used the Kotobee e-book. A separate learning activity sheet (LAS), validated by the Master Teacher in charge of JHS Mathematics, was administered weekly to be able to validate the performance of the learners for a specific topic taught while using the e-Book. At the end of the Quarter, a post-test was administered to be able to determine the performance of the students.     Data collected showed that by using the Kotobee e-book, it has affected how well the participants do in Mathematics 8 Quarter III, as shown by the significant difference between the mean percentage scores on the pre-test and the mean percentage scores on the summative test.
