It is an effective defect detection method. How to reconstruct the outline of three-dimensional irregular defect by using magnetic flux leakage signal is the key problem in magnetic flux leakage detection. However, the finite element model of magnetic flux leakage detection for three-dimensional irregular defects requires a large amount of computation, and the ill-posed defect reconstruction problem makes it difficult to obtain the accurate outline of irregular defects. In this paper, an element magnetic dipole band superposition model is proposed for calculating magnetic flux leakage signals of three-dimensional irregular defects, and the validity of the forward model for calculating magnetic flux leakage signals is demonstrated. For the high-dimensional optimization problem of three-dimensional defect contour reconstruction, a projection Levenberg-Marquart algorithm with boundary constraints is proposed. Reconstruction of three - dimensional irregular defect contour is realized. Meanwhile, the non-linear edge shape of cable also brings inconvenience to the extraction of effective areas. Therefore, a method of surface defect detection for cable of cable-stayed bridge based on threshold image's difference is proposed. Firstly, the gray scale and gradient characteristics of cable images were analyzed, and based on the manual ROI extraction method, the automatic ROI extraction method of cable was designed based on Gaussian mixture model. Then, an appropriate image processing algorithm is selected to enhance the cable image. Finally, the threshold results of the image to be detected and the original image are differentiated, and the existence of defects is determined by calculating the maximum connected area. The experimental results on the bridge show that the effective area extracted by this algorithm is accurate, and it can effectively reduce the bright spots or shadows caused by uneven natural light. Firstly, establish a multi-objective decision-making model and evaluation indicators based on the principle of wheelset re-profiling strategy. Secondly, use Monte Carlo simulation to simulate the single-wheel repair strategies and the corresponding expected value. Then, the objective weight of entropy is established based on the re-profiling strategies, the subjective weight of the analytic hierarchy process is established based on the importance of the three indicators, and the subjective and objective weights are combined to form a new evaluation method with TOPSIS. Finally, the traditional evaluation method and the combined weight TOPSIS evaluation method are used to evaluate the wheelset re-profiling strategy. Metallic foreign bodies can cause great harm to the insulation performance of GIS equipment. Therefore, it is very necessary to detect metal foreign bodies in GIS equipment. In this paper, terahertz time-domain spectroscopy is used to measure the three insulating materials of epoxy resin, silicon rubber, ceramics and the mixture of the three materials experimentally. Then obtain the time-domain, frequency-domain, and absorption spectra of the four groups of materials. On this basis, aluminum powder and copper powder were added to the four sets of insulating material samples, and the time domain, frequency domain, and absorption spectra of the materials after adding aluminum powder and copper powder were obtained by using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy technology. The experimental results show that after adding the metal powder to the insulating material, the time domain, frequency domain and absorption spectrogram of the material will be significantly reduced. Therefore, we proposed a multi-source translation based method for ROI reconstruction (mSTCT-RCT). In this method, rotation computed tomography (RCT) and multi-source translation computed tomography (mSTCT) scanning mode are combined, and the spare global projections obtained by mSTCT is used to complete the ROI projections collected by RCT for eliminating truncation artifacts on the reconstructed results. Later, our team has presented a NNT-cancellation mixing-frequency (denoted as NNTCM) method, in which one uses the information about the data about some heat transfer tube, but not about the calibration tube to realize cancellation, and the final result from a group of given data is stable and ideal intuitively. However, in that algorithm we didn't give the specific method of obtaining the rotating angle of the low-frequency differential channel (LFDC) signal to make the cancelled-structure energy minimize. To do this, in this paper we present a method of searching for the rotating angle of the LFDC signals, in which, we first determine the positions of these structures, and then give a rotating angle of the high-frequency differential channel (denoted as HFDC) signal when the phase angle of the through-hole is pointed to 40 degrees, and next, let the rotating angle of the LFDC signals change from 1 degree to 180 degrees, in the following we take these actions on high and low signals: rotating, removing the trend curve, cancelling, computing out all the sums of the norms of the signals at all structures after cancellation, giving the minimal index of the sum vector, which is the rotating angle of the LFDC signal we seek. However, splitting and overlapping of echo signal can be received when anisotropic material is tested with shear horizontal (SH) wave due to birefringence, which may introduce errors in stress measurement. In this paper, a uniform transversely polarized SH wave EMAT is proposed to reduce the effect of birefringence. Method to evaluate the selectivity for the polarization direction of SH wave is provided, in which a pitch-catch configuration of a proposed EMAT and an omnidirectional polarized EMAT is arranged. Comparisons with traditional transversely polarized EMAT are made on an orthotropic plate. Experimental results show that the newly designed EMAT is uniform transversely polarized as used as the transmitter, and has great selectivity as used as the receiver. Using the proposed EMAT, a stress measurement is performed. This paper demonstrates the energy transfer mechanism of magnetostrictive SH guided wave transducer and proposes a type of transducer structure of small-width coil and magnetostrictive patch. Comparative experiments are conducted to study how magnetostrictive patch width and coil width influence the relationship between amplitude and frequency of guided wave signal of the transducer, and the transducer designed in this paper is used for the defect detection experiment. According to the experimental results, when the coil and the magnetostrictive patch are of the same width, the change of their width can notably influence the center frequency of the transducer, and the transducer can excite and receive SH guided waves with higher amplitude in a larger frequency range.
