First we collected basic information such as traditional architecture, historical culture and so on in Ji 'an Region! Secondly, field research method was adopted to survey data, image collection and related drawings of radio and TV Traditional ancestral temple buildings, including analysis of the architecture form, decorative art and style type of Heading Radio and TV Temple. Finally, through systematic study and comparison of these two representative ancestral temples, objective conclusions of architectural art characteristics are drawn. As the key to design education, the concept of design literacy has attracted experts’ and scholars’ attention in the past ten years. However, there has been little research done on art education in secondary schools regarding the connotation of design literacy and the importance of teaching the skill. This research will review and discuss relevant documents about design literacy from China and other countries, then explore the concept of design literacy based on current grounded theory, while analyzing the importance of design literacy on art education in secondary schools. Research has found that design literacy plays an active role in cultivating middle school students’ basic abilities, enhancing critical thinking skills, and strengthening positive emotional attachments to the subject.
