Apesar do grande número de lesões observadas nos animais vítimas destes maus tratos, poucos trabalhos são observados relatando estas ocorrências mais detalhadamente. Com objetivo de avaliar os traumas sofridos pelas aves da espécie Gallus gallus, vítima de maus tratos em rinhas, foram analisados 23 espécimes aprendidas pela polícia florestal no município de Santa Rita - PB, e atendidos pelo CETAS (Centro de Triagem de Animais Silvestres). Dos vinte e três indivíduos de G. gallus apreendidos, 100% apresentaram ausência de penas no alto da cabeça (testa, vértice e nuca) e coxa, 78,2% exibiam lesões oculares com pelo menos um dos olhos cegos, 39% necrose auricular, 82,6% necrose da crista, 39% perfurações nas regiões peitoral e escapular, 34,7% perfurações na testa e 17,3% apresentavam fratura de mandíbula. A principal causa das lesões observadas ocorre devido o uso de instrumentos de metal como biqueiras e esporas colocados no animal para provocar maior dano no adversário. A inocuidade deste alimento frente a resíduos químicos, a exemplo dos antimicrobianos é primordial para a saúde, diante do exposto visando avaliar a qualidade do leite e composto lácteo comercializado em hipermercados e supermercados de Maceió, estado de Alagoas, Nordeste do Brasil, foram analisados 42 espécimes, com o objetivo de detectar resíduos de antimicrobianos. Todas as amostras foram submetidas ao Teste Copan (CH-ATK), onde os métodos de diagnóstico seguiram as recomendações do fabricante. O tamanho amostral foi calculado considerando um limite de confiança de 95% e um erro de estimativa de prevalência de 5% e proporção esperada de 50%. A metodologia baseou-se em pesquisa e na obtenção de dados no acervo da biblioteca setorial do Centro Universitário CESMAC em Marechal Deodoro, além de artigos, periódicos e dissertações adquiridas via internet. A busca por uma vida saudável leva as pessoas a buscarem novas formas de alimentação tendo em vista sua funcionalidade e sustentabilidade. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo fazer uma revisão bibliográfica acerca do tema PANC, identificar as propriedades funcionais, nutrientes, valor nutricional, formas de consumo e inserção na alimentação humana. Realizou-se uma busca sistemática da bibliografia publicada nas bases de dados na “Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde” (LILACS), “Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System On-line” (MEDLINE) e “Google Acadêmico”. Os descritores utilizados para a busca foram: Plantas; Nutricional; Funcional; Antioxidantes; Anti-inflamatório; Consumo; Benefícios. Foram selecionados um total de 20 artigos publicados entre os anos de 2009 a 2019, nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol. Nesse trabalho identificou-se que de um modo geral as PANCs em sua maioria apresentam fator nutricional elevado, aumentando para o indivíduo que as consomem a ingestão diária vitaminas e minerais essenciais ao desenvolvimento humano, como visto em alguns casos são capazes de substituir as hortaliças convencionais, podendo ser inserida na alimentação diária, cultivadas em pequenos espaços e jardins, podendo também ser comercializada gerando uma fonte de renda. Conclui-se que se faz necessário que os pesquisadores aprofundem seus estudos em relação ao tema, pois existe uma grande diversidade a ser explorado. We highlight the need for a Surgical Dentist to perform possible corrections, and to perform a follow-up of the patient after the procedure. It is noteworthy that lesions such as ulcers and gum overgrowths can be avoided satisfactorily if the dental surgeon is able to perform an adequate treatment after the installation. A dental surgeon should be qualified to establish the real need for correction. This work intends to report a surge of botulism in the city of Uniao dos Palmares, Alagoas, Brazil, which occurred in an area of milk cows with 45 animals, 14 of which had died, showing signs of weakness of the hind limbs, and in 4 cases evolved over a period of 30 days, some with profuse, brownish-green, foul-smelling diarrhea, aside from progressive weight loss. An autopsy was performed on one of the sick animals, of which no significant lesions were observed. Samples of intestinal contents were collected and centrifuged to remove supernatant and later the biological test, inoculation of mice, was performed. This test confirmed the outbreak of the disease on the property studied. Clostridium botulinum was present on the property studied, causing the outbreak of botulism. The main factor initiating the appearance of the surge was the inadequate handling of carcasses and the presence of contaminated water reservoirs. Posteriormente foi selecionada a escola Estadual de Ensino Infantil e Fundamental Orlando Cavalcanti Gomes, no estado da Paraíba, Nordeste do Brasil, que atendia alunos do 6º ao 9º ano. Nesta, os alunos foram questionados a respeito das principais doenças zoonóticas com o objetivo de avaliar o grau de conhecimento sobre a enfermidade e sua profilaxia e tratamento. Com a análise dos dados, verificou-se que o conhecimento destas doenças é quase inexistente embora o convívio com as mesmas seja diário. A partir desta constatação, foi implantado um programa de educação que incluiu palestras, jogos e dinâmicas educativas a respeito das principais zoonoses. Até o momento, há uma boa aceitação e receptividade por parte da escola que já almeja novos projetos em parceria com a Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB). The disease had its initial characterization carried out in individuals originating in the upper western part of the city of Serrinha dos Pintos, State of Rio Grande do Norte, by researchers from the Center for Human Genome Studies and Hospital das Clinicas of the University of Sao Paulo in the year 2005. Its clinical characteristics include: congenital and atrophic optic atrophy Progressive spastic paraplegia, with early onset of life, axonal neuropathy, with clinical onset after the first decade of life, startle response with unexpected sounds, dysarthria, spinal and foot deformities, and extrapyramidal signs. The present text aims to report the cases of patients with SPOAN under the physiotherapeutic assistance of the Expanded Nucleus of Family Health (NASF) in the city of Serrinha dos Pintos-RN. Experience report: This is an experience report on the care of patients with SPOAN syndrome assisted by the municipality's NASF. In the municipality there were 14 patients with SPOAN, but only 4 (28.5%) of these patients attended the physiotherapeutic care. The treatment lasted an average of 40-50 minutes, with moderate resting pauses between sessions. They consisted of: passive joint mobilization exercises, scapular and pelvic girdle dissociation exercises, intra-articular mobilization exercises, stretching, muscle strengthening , respiratory exercises, myofascial release, Kabat methods, Bobath and Pilates, electrotherapy, and auriculotherapy. Final considerations: Physiotherapic care given to patients with SPOAN syndrome is considered to be extremely important for the preservation of functionality of these patients, since there is a satisfactory clinical evolution, with improvement of muscular strength and flexibility, range of joint movement and respiratory capacity. It follows a convoluted course through the city of Joao Pessoa, the capital of the State of Paraiba. As with other urban water bodies in Brazil, the quality of its water is compromised by diffuse contaminations arising from a diverse array of poluting souces originating from diverse localities along its course. On the basis of hydric monitoring, accomplishede by the Superintendencia de Administracao do Meio Ambiente (SUDEMA), it was possible to infer that water quality is best in the stretch contained within the area of environmental preservation “Mata do Buraquinho”, today named Botanic Garden Benjamin Maranhao. This ecosystem, located in the central region of Joao Pessoa, provides several environmental services to the population living in this city, such as climatic regulation, genetic resources, biodiversity, recreation, and ecotourism, among others. It also produces positive impacts on the water quality of the river flowing through this preservation area. Data from chemical analyses were listed as temporal series (2006 to 2016), making it possible to compare two water sampling stations (JB01 e JB02). Thus, in order to focus on the field reality of the rural area of the city of Joao Pessoa, Paraiba, located in the southern coastal area, a research was developed between properties that use the two systems of agriculture, using for that purpose the bibliographic review, qualitative research and participant observation. Grâce a la methodologie de la revue bibliographique, il a ete possible de determiner les details inherents a cette lesion fondamentale. Les lesions des vesicules blister ont comme caracteristique fondamentale la formation de cloques ou de vesicules dans la cavite buccale, et la connaissance precise de cette lesion revet une importance considerable, car les hypotheses de diagnostic sont formulees a la suite d'un tableau clinique observe chez le patient et fonde sur dans l'histoire clinique de la maladie et les caracteristiques cliniques de la lesion produite.
