In gnotobiotic model experiment; 9-18 and 6-19 para-nodule plant-1 were produced due to 2,4 D and IAA treatments respectively. Less than 7 para-nodules plant-1were attributed to Azospirllum alone, numbers increased to 26 when the diazotroph was introduced in combination with p-nodule-inducing agents. The cell wall-degrading enzyme mixture with PEG facilitated the crack-entry invasion of the diazotroph in population of > 5x105cfu g-1 root. High rates of C2H2 reductions of > 200 nmoles C2H4 g-1 root hr-1 were estimated for the enzyme mixture-PEG treated plants. The average glutamine synthetase activities of plant leaves were the highest (57.1-86.3 µ mol g-1Fw hr-1) for IAA-Azospirillum treatment. Wheat plants successfully paranodulated in pot experiment when pre-treated with IAA and enzyme mixture and inoculated with Azospirillum in presence of 50 % of recommended N, plant biomass and N yields increased as well. The highest levels of chlorophyll a (2.10 µg g-1Dw), chlorophyll b (2.28) and carotenoids (1.59) were estimated for inoculated plants pre-treated with IAA plus enzyme mixture. In the field trial, as high as > 2.0 kg plot-1 total biological yield was produced by plants initially primed by soaking in water. The superior grain yields of 441.7-571.4 g plot-1 were attributed to Azospirillum inoculation together with IAA and enzyme mixture for 50 % N-supplied plants. Seed priming somewhat raised the grain yield.","PeriodicalId":424230,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced engineering, Management and Science","volume":"63 5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116026119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the remediation potential of Z.mays in soil co- contaminated with Pb and antracene. Pristine sandy loam soils were polluted with Pb chloride salt and antracene at three different levels (50mg/kg of Pb, 100mg/kg of Pb, and 100mg/kg of Pb+100mg/kg of antracene) and laid out in completely randomized design with 3 replicates. Shoot dry matter weight was significantly reduced (p≤0.05) when compared with control treatments by 40% when exposed to100mg kg-1 of Pb. There was a 48% inhibition of shoot dry matter of Z.mays relative to control treatments when 100 mg Pb kg-1 was mixed with 100 mgkg-1 antracene. Root and shoot metal concentration in Zea mays increased with increasing concentration of Pb. The average Translocation Factor (TF < 1 (0.69) obtained suggests that Zea mays predominantly retains Pb in the root portion of the plant. There was a 5% increase in shoot Pb concentration when soil was contaminated with Pb and antracene. The extractable antracene decreased significantly (p≤0.05) in soil planted with Z.mays as well as in pots without maize plant. This accounted for 65 and 72% of antracene dissipation in planted soil and 40-46% dissipation in unplanted soil. This result suggested that Zeamays is a promising candidate for uptake Pb and dissipation of antracene in co-contaminated soils.","PeriodicalId":424230,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced engineering, Management and Science","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128151294","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To support reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) program, there is a need to understand the characteristics of existing Land Use/Cover Change (LUCC) modules. The aims of this study are 1) to calculate the rate of deforestation at Poso Regency; and 2) to compare the performance of LCM and GM for simulating baseline deforestation of multiple transitions based on model structure and predictive accuracy. The data used in this study are : 1) Indonesia tophographic map scale 1; 50.000, produced by Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), 2) Landcover maps (1990, 2000, and 2011) which were collected from the Director General of Forestry Planning, Ministry of Environment and Forestry. Meanwhile independent variables (environmental variables) such as : distance from the edge of the forest, the distance from roads, the distance from streams, the distance from settlement, elevation and slope. Landcover changes analysis was assessed by using Idrisi Terrset software and Geomod software. Landcover maps from 1990 and 2000 were used to simulate land-cover of 2011. The resulting maps were compared with an observed land-cover map of 2011. The predictive accuracy of multiple transition modeling was calculated by using Relative Operating Characteristics (ROC). The results show that the deforestation on the period of 1990-2011 reached 19,944 ha (3.55 %) or the rate of deforestation 949 ha year1. Based on the model structure and predictive accuracy comparisons, the LCM was more suitable than the GM for the asssement of deforestation.","PeriodicalId":424230,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced engineering, Management and Science","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131215188","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These relations often change and differ in time. Thus, the fundamental structure of these networks is dynamic and increasingly developing. Investigating how the structure of these networks evolves over the observation time affords visions into their evolution structure, elements that initiate the changes, and finally foresee the future structure of these networks. One of the most relevant properties of networks is their community structure – set of vertices highly connected between each other and loosely connected with the rest of the network. Subsequently networks are dynamic, their underlying community structure changes over time as well, i.e they have social entities that appear and disappear which make their communities shrinking and growing over time. The goal of this paper is to study community detection in dynamic social network in the context of location-based social network. In this respect, we extend the static Louvain method to incrementally detect communities in a dynamic scenario following the direct method and considering both overlapping and non-overlapping setting. Finally, extensive experiments on real datasets and comparison with two previous methods demonstrate the effectiveness and potential of our suggested method.","PeriodicalId":424230,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advanced engineering, Management and Science","volume":"256 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132502611","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
