This paper devises a hybrid model to find the influential cited paper and influential researchers from Web of Science (WOS) data. For determining the influential researcher, a series of steps is performed. Then the co-citation is performed for providing author-author co-relation that predicts the next co-author. Thereafter, visualization of the network is performed for research communication amongst different authors. Then, the network density is computed. Finally, the cluster coefficient is adapted for finding the influential researcher. Concurrently, for discovering influential cited papers, the pre-processing is performed using the stop word removal and stemming process. Then, the word2vec model is utilized for training the model to forecast the suitable word that comes next. Finally, the modified word mover's distance (MWMD) is utilized for determining the semantic similarity in order to discover influential cited papers.","PeriodicalId":42414,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Decision Support System Technology","volume":"23 1","pages":"1-19"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74213611","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Variables considered for undertaking recommended procedures may yield many decision alternatives, challenging to deal with at planning time. Additionally, expectations regarding the phenomena handling may not match those observed. This means that the existing plan’s application may become inappropriate, and teams must be creative in performing actions and decision-making. An approach for on-the-fly adaptation of plans aims to assist teams in identifying and diagnosing unforeseen situations, besides adjusting previously developed plans at runtime. This approach was evaluated through experiments in the emergency management domain, and the initial results indicate its feasibility in dealing with unforeseen situations while handling irregular phenomena in complex environments.","PeriodicalId":42414,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Decision Support System Technology","volume":"14 1","pages":"1-19"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75616749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indeed, hate speech towards people brings about violent acts and social chaos, hence law prohibits it, and it engenders moral and legal implications. It is crucial that we can precisely categorize the hate speech, and not a hate speech automatically, while this allows us to identify easily real people who represent a threat for our society, and who wrongly regard as hateful speakers. In this paper, we applied a complete text mining process and Naïve Bayes machine learning classification algorithm to two different data sets (tweets_Num1 and tweets_Num2) taken from Twitter, to better classify tweets. The results obtained demonstrate that our model performed well regarding different metrics based on the confusion matrix including the accuracy metric, which achieved 87. 23% on the first dataset, and 93. 06% on the second.","PeriodicalId":42414,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Decision Support System Technology","volume":"34 1","pages":"1-20"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77434898","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Spatial or geographic location in conjunction with textual relevance plays a key role in searching Point of Interest (POI) of the user. Efficient indexing techniques like R-Tree, Quad Tree, Z-order curve and variants of these trees are widely available in terms of spatial context. Inverted file is the popular indexing technique for textual data. As Spatial skyline query aims at analyzing both spatial and skyline dominance, there is a necessity for a hybrid indexing technique. This article presents the review of spatial skyline queries evaluation that include a range of indexing techniques which concentrates on disk access, I/O time, CPU time. The investigation and analysis of studies related to skyline queries based upon the indexing model and research gaps are presented in this review.","PeriodicalId":42414,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Decision Support System Technology","volume":"25 1","pages":"1-15"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84066439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An impact is a measure of the tangible and intangible consequences of one thing on another. Impacts are interdependent, and the environment in which they are measured generates constant change for decision making. This paper proposes the impact projection’s conceptualization, organized into a meta-ontology called OntoImpact. It comprises concepts that are crucial in supporting the understanding and representation of impact projections for complex decisions. The main contribution of OntoImpact is to support decision-makers in their work tasks, besides providing bases to support the development of a complex decision system. This paper was evaluated in a case study of an emergency domain. The results show that OntoImpact provides elements that can support complex decision analysis and project impacts in a collaborative way.","PeriodicalId":42414,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Decision Support System Technology","volume":"6 1","pages":"1-21"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73971066","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In reality, during production, if the machine works for a long time there may be a random breakdown and the system shifts from controlled to out of the controlled situation, in this time production system produces defective items. The retailer offers an all-unit quantity discount on the selling price of the item who in return gets a quantity-based discount on the purchase price of the item. The motive of this model is to study a multi-warehouse model for imperfect items under a quantity-based discount, where the defectives can be screened and then can be sold in a single batch where the decision variables are set as optimal ordering quantity and optimal shortage quantity, to maximize the total profit of the retailer. A solution procedure is given to find the optimal solution and a numerical example is given to illustrate this study. Sensitivity analysis is also performed to study the effect of the changes in parameter values on the optimal solution.","PeriodicalId":42414,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Decision Support System Technology","volume":"16 1","pages":"1-15"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86161585","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most studies to assess climate in healthcare organizations use qualitative and/or statistical methods. Here, we propose a general framework, based on a multiple criteria decision making/aid (MCDM / A) method, which considers different objectives in a single problem. Such framework includes internal and external factors to assess organizational climate and presented adequate results when tested in a particular case. To assess the organizational climate, we use the ELECTRE TRI method, an outranking method that combine the decision-maker (DM) preferences and his value judgments. We conclude that MCDM methods can improve agility, provide a systemic vision on organizational climate assessment and contribute to the decision-making process","PeriodicalId":42414,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Decision Support System Technology","volume":"75 1","pages":"1-19"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90491215","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indeed, a good design of this kind of systems requires the elaboration of an adapted analysis and modelling approach, which takes into account the spatial-temporal dynamics of the systems elements dysfunction. This paper proposes a Spatio-temporal modelling approach integrated into a risk management methodology. This modelling allows both to describe the evolution of the system in space and in time, and to follow the spatial and temporal scope of a failure of the system in order to improve decision making in choosing the appropriate corrective action. The elements of the methodology are illustrated and validated by a case study of a wireless sensor network system.","PeriodicalId":42414,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Decision Support System Technology","volume":"20 1","pages":"1-19"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79000013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
