University campuses clearly portray these environments. Therefore, there is an immense need for campus settings where users can take outdoor breaks to restore and redirect their attention. Well-designed outdoor landscapes can have restorative effects on users, and in turn increase their concentration and overall productivity. This interdisciplinary research explores key literature on restorative concepts and visual preferences from the field of environmental psychology. It also examines the restorative campus landscape character from an urban design perspective. However, there are no coherent frameworks that correlate the three dimensions: restorative landscape design concepts, visual landscape preferences, and appropriate campus planning strategies. Therefore, the research summarizes the key literature findings, and merges the three parameters into a comprehensive assessment tool designed explicitly for university campuses. On this scale, taking into account road safety around schools and on home-school journeys is a priority. This problematic was applied to the primary school of \"TAREK IBN ZIAD\" in Guelma city that is located near the primary roads characterized by dense road traffic and mobility practice which cannot be marginalized. This work aims to improve a feeling of belonging and social security, and also, strengthening mitigation measures or setting up specific programs to improve security. To properly conduct this scientific research, an inventory (diagnosis) must be established around the school and its surroundings. Collection of data was based on: a direct observation, a school survey by questionnaire, a series of interviews involving all the actors concerned as sources of information. The results obtained confirm the marginalized situation of the school surroundings. Under Japanese colonial rule t, Chiayi City became the second densely populated city in Taiwan due to Alishan Forestry. In recent years, Chiayi City Government has promoted urban renewal, improved the living environment, and enhanced urban functions as the main goals of urban development. Expediting the reconstruction of unsafe and old buildings in the urban planning district is its specific plan. The built public housing in Chiayi has reached an expected useful life, and the building safety and quality of life do not meet the current needs for the residential environment any longer, which leads to the gradually migration of the population in these areas. This novel approach makes use the collective ownership of renewable energy generation and storage system to optimise their use. In addition to the networking of devices, PEBs also require a suite of managerial systems that can be used to integrate data with the network. One possible solution to this integration is by using Blockchain technology, which has the potential to resolve several issues in data management, security, and community integration. However, the use of Blockchains within PEBs has not been fully engineered or tested, and this paper presents the results of an exploration into possible solutions. The methods adopted in this research are descriptive and exploratory approaches in modelling a network of PEBs. This paper attempted to emphasize on the evolution of the station buildings’ plan types and its train-sheds. Railways were the pioneers of modern transportation introduced by the British in 1885 in Malaya. Although the terrain was the main difficulties in railway developments, they managed to connect the lines through West Coast and East Coast lines until Singapore on the southern part and Bangkok on the northern part in the year 1931. Case studies have been conducted and the analysis on plan type evolution will be made between the station buildings in Malaysia in parallel with station buildings around the world during that time. On the other hand, many contractors still use the traditional RC flat slab systems due to their simple construction process. This research focuses on the comparison between the two systems taking into consideration: cost, time, and structural behavior. Detailed cost and time analysis is performed for each system considering all construction resources. The analysis and design of the buildings are conducted using many structural and project management computer programs. These include ETABS, SAFE, RAM, REVIT, and Primavera. The results indicated that, PT systems provide significant savings for spans larger than 6 m. In pandemic conditions that oblige distance education, the process has been tried to be made more efficient by motivating and student-centered methods for students and lecturers. In this direction, students were asked to use free visualization techniques that allow abstract expression of the concepts and planning models they learned in the course. Each student transferred his knowledge with a visualization technique he chose in line with his own individual skills and competence. Within the scope of the Greenways course in KTU Faculty of Forestry Department of Landscape Architecture; An application process using opportunity education, learning by experience and student-centred learning techniques has been put forward. By integrating the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology into this process, the concept of HBIM (Historic Building Information Modeling) has been formed. In this article, the progress of this process with the HBIM methodology in the restoration, protection and management studies of cultural heritage buildings and sites requiring collective and holistic work, the evaluation of access to the information obtained, and the provision of interdisciplinary information exchange were analyzed. By using the SWOT analysis method, the opportunities and threats offered by using the HBIM working methodology were evaluated and the strengths and weaknesses of the HBIM technology were determined. Within this perspective of creating a brand image, urban space has become the scene for new urban landscapes for making city attractive, yet, the existing urban image and identities of urban places have ignored. This paper intends to highlight this omission by evaluating the brand image which is created through place branding strategies from a perspective of environmental psychology, to reveal the mismatch between inhabitants’ urban image and policy makers’ brand image. Using Ankara as the case study, which has recently put the place branding on the top of urban development agenda, a survey is presented in order to figure out whether the brand image corresponds with the urban image. The findings demonstrate that new urban landscapes designed through branding strategies do not take place in accumulated urban image. The purpose of this study is to propose the rammed earth technique as an alternative approach for minimizing carbon footprint. It is also discussed its thermal behaviour and required energy to construct. The advantages and disadvantages are stated accordingly. This paper help architects to rethink the traditional techniques which use soil as the main material and how they can reuse it in their design of more sustainable buildings.
