The asymptotic solution of the 3D diffraction problem of the field of an arbitrarily oriented impedance wire dipole on the rectangular screen, obtained by the uniform geometric diffraction theory method was used. The detailed analysis of the dipole's slope angles, the dipole's removal from the screen, at which a circular polarized wave is formed with extremely achievable field amplitude depending on the screen sizes are given. It is shown that with increasing the screen sizes the interval of angles in the main observation planes at which can be formed the circular polarization considerably increases.","PeriodicalId":423697,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS)","volume":"577 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120970969","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
