In this paper suggestions are made on the characteristics and parameters of test signals, that can be referred to basic: universal color bar signal used for evaluating quality of color rendering and transient responses and another parameters and test signal for evaluating spatial two-dimensional frequency modulation transfer function of through light-to-light video path.
