Internets of Things find many applications in various fields but the emergence of IoT have put the embedded device communication and interaction at risk. There are various security conditions that need to be satisfied to be able to securely connect the embedded device to the internet. MD5 is a hashing algorithm which outputs a message digest which is of fixed length derived from an input of arbitrary length. It has various features that can be used to satisfy the security concern in IoT. The system is proposed to allow the use of MD5 for securing the embedded device from attacks when connected to the internet to become a part of the Internet of Things. A prologue to the embedded system and Internet of Things has been given. The various features that a security algorithm needs to fulfil have been discussed. The main energy source consists of solar PV, a battery and Ultra capacitor (UC). Battery acts as a main energy source to the system which is connected with the Ultra capacitor and acts as a source of energy during the transient phase, for example during starting and braking of motor. Solar PV cell works during the steady-this arrangement is improved travel range, reduction in the size of battery with improved battery life and fast response during the transient. When there is irregular solar irradiation, there is the deficiency of power source, so the system requires a energy storing device. Usually Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries are used for this kind of application. But to provide a large demand of current during the motor startup, it degrades battery plates which in return degrades the battery. The other method of providing large demand of current is to add VRLA batteries and super capacitors, to build a new hybrid storage system. In this hybrid system the battery will act as a continuous source of energy and the ultra capacitor will provide instant power. Energy auditing is the first step of identifying the opportunities for energy saving, both in commercial and residential applications. Industrial energy auditing has become an important task due to increasing energy cost. To address these issues, in this research we focus on developing an energy monitoring and analysing system for industries. Our system mainly consists of a software implementation which provide real time and remote monitoring, energy data saving, real time data plotting according to user requirements, analysing measured data, recognizing problems in the system and providing technical suggestions for the demand side management in industries such as power factor correction and load shifting. Additional features such as emergency situation warnings are also implemented in this system. The WSN is recognized as one of the technological corner stone of AmI. This paper proposes the design of a WSN based multi-Communication standard network for the intelligent monitoring of the fragile hospital environment. The proposed network includes sensor nodes to monitor air quality, water quality and crowd inflow inside various hospital buildings across the state of J&K. The outcome would be a system composed of ad-hoc sensor nodes providing the hospital administration with adequate non intrusive and intelligent monitoring to improve the quality of hospital hygiene, cleanliness and sanitation. The proposed design integrates WSN with packet switched networks/ web service communication into a knowledge and information service platform. The RF energy harvester consist of antenna and filter to improve the performance of the output voltage. The RF circuit also receives the interference signal which reduces the overall performance of the circuit. To reduce the ripples and harmonics at the output voltage of the RF energy harvester a filter is needed. This paper presents a wideband 5th order Chebyshev Band Pass Filter (BPF) for the frequency range of (0.58-3 GHz) is integrated with the RF circuits. The microstrip parallel coupled BPF is designed at a centre frequency of 1.65GHz and 0.5dB pass band ripple. The dielectric material used for designing the BPF is FR4 substrate with a relative permittivity of Er=4.4. This paper also includes a, Coplanar Wave guide (CPW) antenna which has been designed and fabricated for the same frequency range which covers the frequency bands of GSM900, GSM1800, 3G and WiFi. The designed BPF is integrated with the CPW antenna at RF front end of energy harvesting circuits. The advantage of BPF is to reduce the losses and to enhance the overall performance of the output voltage of the RF energy harvester. This research focuses on the privacy concerns of a user who unknowingly installs a malicious apps created by the programmer. In this paper we created an attack scenario and created an app capable of compromising the privacy of the users. After accepting all the permissions by the user while installing the app, the app allows us to track the live location of the Android device and continuously sends the GPS coordinates to the server. This spying app is also capable of sending the call log details of the user. In addition to rectenna, a single flexible solar cell is used to harvest solar energy which makes the design hybrid harvesting system. This hybrid system could be integrated into clothing and accessories to charge the wearable electronic devices.
