Method. The following methods of scientific knowledge – analysis, toponymic, etymological, statistical, systematic, historical, monographic, as well as methods – generalization, abstraction, concretization, were used to process the information on the technical characteristics of leveling points, presented on the geoportal of the State Government of Ukraine. The results. The quantitative and qualitative composition of leveling networks of the I and II classes is given, which showed together the technical and technological inconsistency of regulatory documents with the current state of the leveling (altitude) network, which necessitates the use of complex methods for monitoring leveling points on the territory of Ukraine. Scientific novelty. A comprehensive analysis of the information source on the state (technical characteristics) of leveling networks of I and II classes, which is the geoportal of the State Ministry of Ukraine, with the analysis of the provisions of the relevant regulatory documents, is the basis for the development of scientific and technical proposals for the long-term operation of leveling points of the State Ministry of Ukraine and will allow to identify weak aspects of their functioning caused by changes in their surrounding environment. The practical significance of the work shows the inconsistency of the provisions of the instructions and orders during monitoring of the state of leveling points and. accordingly, during the preparation of reporting documentation, which is due to the large number of types of centers, benchmarks of brands in leveling networks of I and II classes, as well as a significant amount of available at all levels, different in terms of physical and historical information about the surrounding environment of leveling points, proposals are proposed to solve the scientifically identified – technical contradictions when using leveling networks of I and II classes. The basis of the scientific proposals is the long-term scientific research conducted by the authors.","PeriodicalId":422474,"journal":{"name":"Modern achievements of geodesic science and industry","volume":"128 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140777881","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the modern world, the preservation and restoration of historical structures is an important task that requires the application of advanced technologies. Methodology. Terrestrial laser scanning serves as an indispensable tool in this process, providing accurate and detailed spatial data. A technological scheme for creating a digital model of a historical object has been proposed. The study of historical objects using various methods of information collection was considered, namely: topographic surveying, terrestrial digital photogrammetry, terrestrial laser scanning, ground-penetrating radar studies, tachymetric surveying, GNSS. The methodology for creating a digital model of a historical object and the presented technological scheme, which includes data collection, processing of the obtained results, and output data, are described. Results. A comprehensive approach was applied to create the model, which included studying the history of the object, terrestrial laser scanning, terrestrial digital photogrammetry, and conducting geodetic measurements. A key aspect was the accurate and detailed reproduction of all architectural and structural elements of the fort. The use of software such as Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360, Autodesk ReCap, and Autodesk Revit allowed the integration of collected data into one accurate and detailed model. The sequential execution of work according to the proposed methodology enabled the creation of a digital model of the fort “Marushka Lis.” Scientific novelty and practical significance. The scientific novelty lies in the use of terrestrial laser scanning and 3D modeling for the reconstruction of a destroyed post-military object. The obtained digital model of the fort “Marushka Lis” will be used in web mapping of post-military sites in Lviv region.","PeriodicalId":422474,"journal":{"name":"Modern achievements of geodesic science and industry","volume":"387 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140775862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method. The input data for the study were 36 medium-resolution (C-band) radar images of the Sentinel-1A satellite. The method of persistent scatterers (PSInSAR), which is an advanced technology of differential interferometry (DInSAR), was used to process the results of radar acquisition. The PSI method was implemented using the Stanford Method for Persistent Scatterer (StaMPS) software package. The results. Maps of the average rates of deformation of the earth’s surface in the area of the mine fields of the “Kalush” mine were obtained. The rate of subsidence of the territories above the mining works reaches 4 mm/year. The accuracy of determining the deformation rates is an order of magnitude higher than their values, which indicates the reliability of the obtained results. The nature of subsidence, for most areas, has a linear model of deformation processes. The maximum rates of deformation of the earth’s surface are observed over the Khotyn sylvinite field, but the rates of subsidence have decreased significantly compared to the previous data of the monitoring carried out in 2016-2017. The scientific novelty consists in obtaining the updated results of the monitoring of the territories above the mining operations of the Kalush mine using the InSAR method for the period from June 2018 to December 2022. The practical significance of the research results is not only in determining the quantitative indicators of deformations, but also in obtaining data for further planning and improvement of the complex geodynamic monitoring system using ground and satellite measurements.","PeriodicalId":422474,"journal":{"name":"Modern achievements of geodesic science and industry","volume":"68 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140758939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve the goal, an analysis of the current state of the maritime cadastre in a number of foreign countries and in Ukraine was performed.Method. In the process of conducting this research, an analytical method was used. In particular, the structure, management methods and functioning of the marine cadastral systems of the USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and a number of European countries have been studied. An analysis of the regulatory and legal acts and the institutional base of Ukraine for the possibility of creating a system of the country’s maritime cadastre was carried out. The object of the study was the sea water areas of the Ukrainian Azov-Black Sea basin and the coastal protective strips of the seas. The research results show that there are legal, institutional and technical prerequisites for the creation of a marine cadastral system in Ukraine. For the full functioning of the marine cadastre system of Ukraine, it is necessary to supplement the existing legislative and regulatory framework, which would allow to regulate in the legal field the issues of institutional and technical support of the cadastre, as well as its administration.When creating a marine cadastre, one should observe an important principle: the land-sea environment is a complete natural-territorial complex. Scientific novelty and practical significance.. The main problems that must be solved in order to build and operate an effective marine cadastre system in Ukraine are defined. Given the fact that coastal territories and the marine environment should be considered as integral natural complexes, in terms of organizational and management, the administrators of the marine cadastre at this stage can be the structural subdivisions of the State Geocadastre and the State Hydrography of Ukraine.","PeriodicalId":422474,"journal":{"name":"Modern achievements of geodesic science and industry","volume":"13 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140786752","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A program developed for this purpose processed a time series of GNSS measurements, which allows for determining vertical seasonal displacements and their dependence on seasonal changes in ambient air temperature. Results. A review of scientific works on the temperature field impact on the deformation of hydraulic structures is presented. Based on the studies performed, it was found that in the absence of sharp drops in the water level in the upper reservoir, seasonal changes in ambient temperature have a significant impact on the vertical displacements of dams (in the example of the Dnipro HPP). The magnitude of extreme displacements and the epochs of their manifestation will depend on the dam design and technical parameters. Based on the processed data, a linear relationship was established between the average ambient temperature and the vertical displacements of GNSS control points located at the Dnipro HPP dam, which makes it possible to predict the value of vertical displacements of control points based on the measured temperature value. Accordingly, monitoring these displacements and their changes over time is one of the criteria for assessing the overall condition of the dam. We noticed that during the study period, the extremely positive average rate of the vertical displacements of the control points was in the first half of 2018, +1.03 mm per month, and the extremely negative average rate of 0.83 mm/month was in the second half of 2019. It explained the correlation between the vertical displacement rate of the control point and the depth of the reservoir near it. Scientific novelty and practical significance. The regularities of the relationship between temperature changes and GNSS point displacements revealed in the study can be useful for further research on the processing and analysis of monitoring data for hydraulic structures.","PeriodicalId":422474,"journal":{"name":"Modern achievements of geodesic science and industry","volume":"854 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140774923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The methodology of monitoring the state of the forests of the Rava-Ruska forestry is based on the using of multi-temporal medium-resolution satellite images with their subsequent processing using geographic information systems. For processing, we use images from Landsat 7 (July 2002) and Sentinel-2 (August 2022). We use csupervised classification using the maximum likelihood method. To post-process the classification results, we use Majority Filter. Based on the results, we calculate the area of classes for the relevant years. We perform a comparative analysis of these areas to determine changes in forest objects. Results. The research was conducted on a part of the territory of the Rava-Ruska forestry. Training samples were created for the following objects: deciduous and coniferous forest, fresh deforestation and overgrown deforedtation, open ground and roads, water and agricultural land. Histograms and scatter plots are used to evaluate the training samples. The suoervised classification was carried out using the maximum likelihood method on a part of the forestry territory with further post-processing. As a result of using GIS tools, a comparison of forest changes over two decades was made. The monitoring of the forests of the Rava-Ruska forestry allowed us to identify changes in forest objects, in particular deforestation, which in 2022 amounted to 679.2 hectares. Scientific novelty and practical significance. A methodology for monitoring forests using remote sensing materials has been developed. The possibilities of detecting changes in forest objects using the method of supervised classification are investigated.","PeriodicalId":422474,"journal":{"name":"Modern achievements of geodesic science and industry","volume":"46 19","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140797351","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
