Providing secure communication is a major research avenue in MANETs because of the dynamic topology due to mobility and energy constraint. To ensure security ID - based key management was introduced. Most of the existing systems have provided various key management schemes like ID - based multiple secret key with threshold cryptography, Hierarchical Identity Based Key management, Cluster Based Identity Management etc. Though these schemes are efficient in providing security, the energy consumption is high. This leads to the need of an energy proficient key management method. Our proposed scheme EMBGK - Energy and Mobility based Group Key Management scheme concentrates in: 1) Cluster Formation 2) Link Stability 3) Mobility Prediction and 4) Group Key Management. The individual node properties are verified and the nodes are organized into clusters based on their transmission range. The mobility is predicted based on the previous positions of the node. Using all this, an optimized method is implemented for the cluster head election and cluster formation. The proposed scheme saves time and energy for frequent cluster updations and key updations. To preclude the non-group memberships from interpreting the data, complex key called Group Key is being generated. The secrecy of the group key is being maintained. Group key avoids the issue of certificates and third party involvement. Frequent updations, the possibility of key hacking and exchanging certificates are being reduced. The results show that the throughput, life time of the nodes, link stability is increased with minimum consumption of energy. Our proposed scheme also reduces overhead, end-end delay, jitter and packet loss. The number of key updations is being reduced in our proposed system as the mobility is predicted and link stability is maintained.","PeriodicalId":422275,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134373790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Weather predictions are used in agriculture, air traffic, marine, forestry, severe weather alerts and advisories, military applications and utility companies. The weather forecasting information is provided by various systems with different formats and parameters. As the weather forecasting data are lying in different sources and in heterogeneous format, this cause the data integration cumbersome, hence the data source need to be aligned in order to facilitate the smooth integration and to achieve this would involve various processing. There is a need to accomplish unified integration of heterogeneous environments (data sources) and to provide worldwide access to the system. The heterogeneity issues needs to be minimized to arrive a common understanding and decision making by various agencies, research institutions and application areas. This paper focuses on resolving terminological and semantic heterogeneities using a novel ontology aligning algorithm and integration is by ontology merging algorithm. Reference ontology has been developed for aligning, consisting of all possible concepts, attributes and relations for weather forecasting domain to provide knowledge using semantic relations.","PeriodicalId":422275,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132651163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mining infrequent pattern plays vital role in detecting any abnormal event. In this paper, an algorithm named Infrequent Pattern Miner for Data Streams (IPM-DS) is proposed for mining nonzero infrequent patterns from data streams. The proposed algorithm adopts the FP-growth based approach for generating all infrequent patterns. The proposed algorithm (IPM-DS) is evaluated using health data set collected from wearable physiological sensors that measure vital parameters such as Heart Rate (HR), Breathing Rate (BR), Oxygen Saturation (SPO2) and Blood pressure (BP) and also with two publically available data sets such as e-coli and Wine from UCI repository. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm generates all possible infrequent patterns in less time.","PeriodicalId":422275,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115644326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, their function is limited to returning a list of query relevant documents with reasonably good precision, but huge recall. The task of actually processing the returned documents to get the required information is the responsibility of the user. In recent years, Question-Answer systems are gaining popularity and have garnered much research interest in view of the proposed Semantic Web and future availability of fully structured data. The advantage of QA systems is that users have the luxury of asking queries in natural language and also get a precise answer instead of just displaying a list of links to documents that may or may not be relevant. This paper presents a question answer search engine prototype that uses natural language processing, natural language generation, question classification and query logs to find a precise answer to the submitted query. This is ongoing work and we focus on the methodology of query analysis in this paper. We describe our strategy of automatic query analysis by classifying it into nine categories and understanding the meaning of the query. We also discuss in detail how each of the question categories are automatically processed and how the proposed system determines the key word or key phrase to be searched.","PeriodicalId":422275,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115878898","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This under utilization results in congestion while routing the data across the data centers. This can be improved by the load balancing over the bottlenecked links. The traditional method handles the load balancing by implementing the protocols at the hardware level. This makes hard for the network management and trouble shooting. This can be improved using the Software Defined Networking (SDN) approach of load balancing. Software Defined Networking is a new emerging technology which helps in fast way of introducing the services to the market without depending on the vendor based configuration of the devices. The SDN helps in making the control decisions that are no longer limited to algorithms offered by network equipment provider and hence we have control over the entire network which helps in saving the running time. The proposed work implements the heuristic method of load balancing by defining our own objective function that classifies the best path and best server and makes it available for fast discovery to future requests. Thus proposed method makes the load balancing at the switch and router to be fast, making switches dump and cheap to do which achieves the simplicity of load balancing instead of complex network management of legacy systems.","PeriodicalId":422275,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology","volume":"158 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115912905","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With Photorealistic rendering special effects regarding computer graphics character/object like lighting, shadowing information can be dynamically created on screen. In Photorealistic Augmented Reality, direct or indirect view of elements of a real world are augmented through computer-generated sensory inputs in a way closely resembling a photograph. This work proposes a generic rendering pipeline framework with several stages for seamlessly integrating moving virtual objects into dynamic real time environment while the earlier work was in the track of photorealistic rendering of static virtual objects. The applied Graphics Pipeline comprises of several stages with each stage contributing its part: Shadowing, Illumination, Environment mapping, Scene Composition, and Camera effects summing up to the desired photorealistic effect. Blender and 3DS Max Software is used for Basic Mesh Modeling. OgreXMLConvertor for exporting mesh from Blender to OGRE while OgreMaxSceneExporter2.4.8 for exporting mesh from 3D Studio Max to OGRE environment. During that process some difficulties are raised to maintain security while providing retrieval and searching procedures. Due to security concerns, sensitive data is protected by encryption before moving to the cloud. Normally precise information retrieval is difficult over encrypted cloud data. To overcome these issues, we propose an Enhanced Multikeyword Top-k Search and Retrieval (EMTR) scheme; it achieves good accuracy and high efficiency. First, the document can be efficiently estimated using inverted indexing. Then the user could query by any number of queried keywords appearing in the document which evaluate the relevance scoring of the document and to the search query to retrieve relevant information from cloud storage. Furthermore, we establish a new ranking procedure to retrieve highest ranked documents (i.e., most relevant) in the data set that brings considerable speedup over inverted weighted indexing. Our analysis demonstrates that the proposed scheme achieve high accuracy, improved search quality and efficient data retrieval with high speed.","PeriodicalId":422275,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126182886","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main purpose of this system is to present a cost effective technique to illuminate blind spots while driving in the night and during the times when the visibility is reduced significantly so as to make the objects visible in those darkened locations and thereby prevent accidents. The system functions in accordance to the controlled input from Atmel AT89S52 microcontroller unit which drives the stepper motors connected to the headlights. The system is also designed to receive input from the indicator switch wherein a full turn is achieved by the headlight mirror when the indicator input is given. Also, the adaptive headlights are automatically switched on when the amount of light measured by a photo diode falls below a threshold, thereby eliminating the need for the driver to switch on the headlights.","PeriodicalId":422275,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology","volume":"112 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121339131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
