Professional education in the modern information society acquires new meanings and value orientations. This is explained by the fact that increasing investment in human potential and ensuring due quality of education create a serious foundation for the formation of social mobility. At the same time, its connection with professional loyalty requires a separate conceptualisation and creation of a necessary empirical basis for assessing the economic resource and corporate responsibility and ensuring proper investments in human resource development. The purpose of the study is to reveal the main characteristics of young specialists’ professional loyalty with regard to ensuring their effective inclusion in the system of social and labour relations. Materials and methods. The online survey involved young (under the age of 35) teachers of pedagogical universities of some CIS countries (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan). The all-Russian sample covered in total 1,295 respondents. The analysis of empirical data was based on the methods of descriptive statistics and systematisation of data on young teachers’ ambitions in terms of professional prospects. Results. The findings of the survey point to the acceptable conditions for professional growth, as viewed by many young teachers (64%). The young people’s satisfaction with their labour activity was 73%. The probability of young teachers’ voluntary dismissal decreases with their increased length of service at universities. The share of young teachers intending to link their professional activity with the university in the next 3-5 years was 73%. Conclusion. Young specialists’ professional loyalty directly conditions their success in their profile labour activities. Young specialists who develop the necessary positive attitudes and competencies in the process of their education will in most cases be more flexible at the workplace and have a higher social mobility level. In this regard, investments in professional education can be justified if young professionals have a necessary mobility potential allowing them to successfully adapt to the labour market.","PeriodicalId":422100,"journal":{"name":"Perspectives of Science and Education","volume":"70 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141693112","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Teaching foreign languages in primary school is aimed at a harmonious development of a pupil’s personality. One of fruitful ways to achieve this goal is reading and discussing foreign-language fairy-tales. The problem of this study is related to the search for methods of using fairy-tale texts as an effective means of developing communicative skills and all spheres of a younger student’s personality. Methods of investigation. Experimental work on teaching reading of foreign-language fairytale texts in primary school was organized and conducted on the basis of Gymnasium No. 46 in Kirov, Russian Federation (52 pupils of grades 4 “A” and 4 “B”). Foreign-language fairy-tale texts are selected and organized, sets of exercises of an emotional and value character are constructed, aimed at achieving subject, meta-subject and personal learning results in a trinity; criteria and levels of their assessment are developed. The findings of the study. At the end of the experimental work, an increase in the subject results of teaching foreign-language reading was noted in 21% of pupils of the experimental group and only in 10% of students of the control group. According to meta-subject results, the data are 23% and 16 %, respectively, and 27% and 8% for personal results. The calculation of the G-criterion of signs shows that at the end of the creative experiment in the experimental group Gemp ≤ Gcr. (0 ≤ 5) for subject and meta-subject and 0 ≤ 6 for personal results. Consequently, the improvement in the performance of the experimental group students is not due to accidental circumstances, but to the conduct of experiential teaching. Conclusions. The theoretical justification and approbation of foreign fairy-tale texts in the educational process of primary school, as well as a set of exercises of an emotional and value nature for teaching reading, make it possible to assume that fairy tales are an effective means of a harmonious development of a younger student’s personality.","PeriodicalId":422100,"journal":{"name":"Perspectives of Science and Education","volume":"71 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141692999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data was processed and visualized using the method of bar and pie charts. The results of the study. The data of the conducted survey of foreign students allow us to conclude about the generally successful adaptation environment of the university. However, some indicators have revealed the need to improve the adaptation process, mainly in its socio-cultural aspect. The answers to the question \"How easily did you join the educational process of NSTU?\" revealed the fact that about 52% of foreign students felt discomfort after arriving to study in Russia, especially this should be attributed to citizens of non-CIS countries. When answering the question \"Have you encountered difficulties in establishing contacts with Russian students and the local population due to differences in values, traditions and customs?\" 44% of respondents acknowledged the existence of problems. Thirty-nine percent of respondents considered the main barrier to effective communication to be a lack of understanding of the motives of Russians' actions. New formats of adaptation measures are required that decode the system of cultural values of the recipient country for foreign students and involve them in the scientific, cultural and economic life of the region. Thirty-two percent of respondents spoke about their lack. Conclusions. The factors of successful adaptation of students at the university are identified, new formats of socio-cultural activities are proposed that can demonstrate national norms and traditions, such as an adaptive VR course, virtual travel, sightseeing routes around the city and the university area, adaptation quests. Types of adaptation activities are included in a comprehensive program designed to convey both the values of the university, its location region, and the values of the recipient country.","PeriodicalId":422100,"journal":{"name":"Perspectives of Science and Education","volume":"16 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141700796","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The accelerated development of knowledge-intensive industries in the aerospace industries requires an influx of highly professional engineers capable of international professional communication. However, mastering highly specialized terminology in a foreign language when teaching students at an aerospace higher education institution remains a weak link in the chain today. The purpose of the study is the scientific substantiation, development and implementation of educational and methodological material for teaching a foreign language to future aerospace engineers based on variable approaches. Materials and methods. The study involved 87 first-year students of the technical departments of the Moscow Aviation Institute (the Russian Federation). Methods of source analysis, sequential experiment, student selfassessment, repeated questioning, comparative analysis, statistical methods (Fisher criterion) were used. Results. A set of exercises has been developed and tested to enhance mastery of a foreign language engineering and environmental vocabulary of aerospace specialties. It was found that the basic request of students is to master highly specialized terminology as a tool for increasing competitiveness (92%) with recognition of the effectiveness of a variable approach to studying the vocabulary of a specialty (97%). The maximum level of assessment of the need to study highly specialized vocabulary for research work (100%) and increased interest in the study of environmental issues based on mastering foreign language terminology (92%) were identified. The highest average value was obtained in students' assessment of the importance of using authentic texts of engineering and environmental orientation (52%), as well as in the growth of interest in participating in scientific conferences on aerospace issues in a foreign language (48%). However, the level of development of listening skills in terms of understanding highly specialized terms when watching video materials remains low (46%). The problem of low motivation of students to independently study specialty materials in a foreign language also requires a solution (62%). Despite the proposed variable approaches, only 57% of respondents are ready to diversify traditional individual forms of learning by working in pairs, mini-groups, and only 64% agree to study in the form of panel discussions and business games. The results of statistical processing of the results based on the Fisher angle coefficient showed the feasibility of using a set of exercises to increase students’ involvement in studying international news (φ*emp = 5.415; p < 0.01), to motivate students to analyze foreign language materials on engineering and environmental issues in addition to basic textbook (φ*emp = 7.413; p < 0.01). As education evolves in the digital age, integrating technology into teaching and learning has become pivotal. This digital transformation carries profound implications for youth experiences and cognition warranting extensive research. This study aimed to elucidate the impact of embedded digital technologies and online tools on learning experiences and consciousness among Kazakhstani and Turkish youth. Specifically, it sought to examine the relationship between key variables and interpret the findings through robust philosophical frameworks spanning critical theory to pragmatism. Study participants and methods. The study surveyed 90 bachelor's and master's students from reputable Kazakhstani and Turkish universities, examining the relationship between digital integration, online tools, learning experiences and human consciousness. Quantitative analysis entailed correlation and regression techniques. Robust philosophical frameworks spanning critical theory to axiology anchored the investigation. The results. Strong positive correlations emerged between all variables – learning experiences, online tools, digital integration and human consciousness (range of r = 0.660 to 0.834). This tight alignment implies technology integration fundamentally transforms education by enabling more interactive, creative and personalized learning. Likewise, extensive online tool use strongly associates with peer collaboration, global awareness and analytical thinking, suggesting enhanced cognition. However, ethical risks around misinformation and critical analysis diminishment must be addressed. Regression analysis further evidenced the significant positive impact of digitalization on consciousness (p < 0.001), underscoring its promise. Yet equitable governance is essential to ensure prudent oversight alongside optimization. Overall, given judicious and ethical implementation, embedded digital tools demonstrate immense potential to enrich diverse student experiences and minds. Conclusions. This pioneering analysis enriches philosophical understanding of how embedded digital tools are transforming youth learning and minds. The robust correlations substantiate prevailing assumptions that judicious technology integration fundamentally expands interactive, creative education opportunities aligned with students' needs and interests. The findings also reinforce sociocultural notions of peer socialization in virtual environments catalyzing enriched consciousness. However, risks around misinformation and critical analysis diminishment temper techno-utopian visions, compelling context-attuned governance frameworks. Key contributions include illuminating these complex dynamics and ethical dimensions within Muslim-majority nations. Despite significant differences in the traditions and practices of literary reading at school in different countries, the question of the role of reading in the process of developing reading strategies, intercultural competence and personal development of students remains relevant in pedagogical research. The influence of reading on the emotional and psychological state of a person, “bibliotherapy of the soul” have been actively studied not only in philosophy and hermeneutics of the twentieth century, but continues to be a subject of controversy in modern science. The study attempts to identify the features of perception, understanding and interpretation of a literary quotation as a significant element of a work of art. Purpose of the study: to identify the educational potential of literary quotation and to actualize the problem of creating methodological conditions for its implementation in the system of school literary education. Materials and methods. Research methods: pedagogical observation; introspection, contextual analysis of explanatory dictionaries; a survey of schoolchildren and students, as well as identifying expert opinion on assessing the significance of a quote for the Russian language. 199 students of the Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University. Took part in a pilot survey aimed at understanding and interpreting a literary quotation. A.I. Herzen, of which 28 are studying at the Faculty of Economics, 86 at the Faculty of Biology, 85 at the Faculty of Philology. For the survey, we chose a quote from the work of A.S. Pushkin “Mozart and Salieri” (cycle “Little Tragedies”) “And genius and villainy are two incompatible things. Isn’t it true?” Results. The survey showed that the most serious problem is ignorance of the precedent phenomenon – quotes from a classical text: 85.7% of students of the Faculty of Economics and 66.3% of students of the Faculty of Biology did not indicate the author and source of the quotation. 99% of students of the Faculty of Philology recognized the quote. It was also difficult for respondents to understand the meaning of the quote and its connection with life. None of the survey participants, in their reflections in tasks 2 and 5, cited as an argument the difference between the concepts of “evil” and “evil action”, or paid attention to the word “incompatible” and the special linguistic construction of the phrase. In third place in terms of difficulty in completing the task is understanding intertextual connections in the text, including quotes in someone else’s speech. Analysis of the survey results helped to identify problem areas in the perception and interpretation of quotes and types of tasks that could later become part of the system of working with quotes in literature lessons at school. One control group and three experimental groups (a total of 60 people) were formed to carry out the formative pedagogical experiment. Three training groups were formed by phygital sport type: 1) phygital volleyball, 2) phygital basketball, 3) phygital football in which 2 sessions were held within a weekly cycle based on the developed methodology. The used methods of mathematical statistics involved the Student’s t-test. Results. Significant changes were found in the experimental groups in the following indicators: “Running 60 m, s.” – EG1 [t=5.5; p<0.05]; EG2 [t=6.4; p<0.05]; EG3 [t=2.3; p<0.05]; “Standing long jump” – EG 1 [t=5.1; p<0.05]; EG2 [t=3.5; p<0.05]; EG3 [t=2.3; p<0.05]; “Pull-up in suspension on a high crossbar” – EG1 [t=4.9; p<0.05]; EG2 [t=4.6; p<0.05]; EG3 [t=4.9; p<0.05]; “Torso lift in seated position” – EG1 [t=3.5; p<0.05]; EG2 [t=3.1; p<0.05]; EG3 [t=3.1; p<0.05]; “Run 100 m.” – EG1 [t=9.8; p<0.05]; EG2 [t=6.2; p<0.05]; EG3 [t=7.8; p<0.05]; KG [t=0.8; p>0.05]. “Sequential execution of 5 somersaults” – EG1 [t=6.5; p<0.05], EG2 [t=2.4; p<0.05]; EG3 [t=3.3; p<0.05]; “Leaning forward while standing on the gym bench” – (EG1 [t=2.6; p<0.05]; EG2 [t=2.5; p<0.05]; EG3 [t=4.4; p<0.05]. No statistically significant changes were found according to these indicators in the control group. Conclusion. The research results showed that the experiment participants successfully combined computer sports with traditional classes and physical activity. The new format of integrating computer game technologies with active motor activity generates young people’s increased interest and can positively influence their motivation to perform physical exercises and physical activity.","PeriodicalId":422100,"journal":{"name":"Perspectives of Science and Education","volume":"101 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141714274","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
