The Facility Control Markup Language (FCML) is designed to provide standardized and uniform access to different devices which usually only adhere to proprietary interfaces and protocols. As an application of the Extensible Markup Language (XML), FCML is designed as an open and extensible standard which can easily be adapted and extended to include requirements of future applications and devices. The subjacent vision includes the conjecture that Web-based SCADA systems are very promising for a wide range of SCADA applications, for reasons of modularity and ease of deployment.","PeriodicalId":422080,"journal":{"name":"Second International Conference on the Digital Society","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122211670","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We also test the effects of stopwords and stemming.","PeriodicalId":422080,"journal":{"name":"Second International Conference on the Digital Society","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128419498","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unfortunately, previous analytic models of TCP Vegas always omit the impact of traffic in reverse path. To address this problem, we develop a simple analytic model in the presence of traffic in reverse path. This model captures the key innovative mechanisms that TCP Vegas employs during congestion avoidance and studies the relations between equilibrium window size and round trip time (RTT). In order to do this, We split RTT to two parts: forward trip time and reverse trip time. Results show that the delay time in reverse path has the same importance as forward data path in determining equilibrium window size and throughput of delay- based algorithm in congestion control.","PeriodicalId":422080,"journal":{"name":"Second International Conference on the Digital Society","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-02-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121769865","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
