However such information is generally inaccessible for blind people. In order to enable these persons to overcome such incapability, we propose a system for identifying the neighbouring scene. In fact, the environment is labelled as a first step and then we present a personalised and adaptive method for labels detection and recognition. The automatic analysis involves the detection of personalised markers employed to extract the region of interest followed by the perspectives rectification based on homography estimation. We use the stroke width transform (SWT) to extract the text from the detected label and crop it into words and letters. The extracted text is identified using images correlation. This paper focuses on developing a new method for discriminate moving objects from a static background, focusing on the combination of motion, colour and texture features. First, we have used block-matching for computing the optical flow, we also have taken in consideration the result of frame difference, to improve the quality of the optical flow. Moreover, we have used the k-means clustering algorithm owing to group the pixels, having similar features. Second, the result of the grouping pixels is used as an input in Chan-Vese model, in order to attract the evolving contour of moving objects contours. To evaluate the performance of our proposed method, we experiment it on challenging sequences. This research aims to implement a tool that would be helpful in predicting the genre of the movies as perceived by the audience through linguistic rules and natural language processing (NLP) tool kit. This paper focuses on development of rule-based sentiment categorising tool for Tamil tweets and a tool has been developed using Python and NLP tool kit. Furthermore, a model is designed to determine the opinion along with genre classification of Tamil movies. For this work, a set of genres are selected from Tamil movies with public tweets based on sentiment analysis. This paper essentially deals with comprehensive understanding of risk from different perspectives and offers a solution-research methodology for efficient risk management. Risk is prioritised based on the impact that is measured with the help of essential parameters that are inevitable to complete the development cycle of the project. Authors have proposed enhanced risk analysis (ERA) approach to identify measure and calculate the occurrence of risk which can get prioritised. The authors proposed a very first and robust unsupervised machine learning algorithm, for the real-time classification of movement imagination. The reactive frequency band (RFB) of the individual subject has been identified through the dominant frequency detection algorithm over the training dataset. Based on the identified RFB, the feature extraction process has been applied to the testing dataset. The estimated 'feature' further classified as per probabilistic Bayesian classifier. The effectiveness of the proposed RFB detection method of electroencephalogram (EEG) signal is validated by self-generated artificial sine wave signal, single subject and nine subject movement imagery (MI) BCI competition dataset. The distributed energy resources are connected to the LV bus by means of power electronic converters. The power quality issues are analysed with model predictive control (MPC) algorithm in both – grid connected and islanded modes. But the islanded mode is analysed separately. A new model is suggested for the islanded mode with non- linear loads. Predictive control based distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM) injects voltages at the point of common coupling (PCC) in the microgrid. Reactive power compensation and mitigation of harmonics are done with the help of new proposed model. The principles and the proposed algorithm are verified by Matlab/Simulink simulation. An open source optical character recognition (OCR) engine, Tesseract is used to extract the text from the image, and this extracted text is converted to speech. Tesseract OCR engine is further trained to recognise handwritten text for a specific user. This OCR engine is trained with handwritten datasets. Research conducted on a number of bug repositories have shown that not all issue reports labelled as 'bug' are actually bugs but can also be a request for additional feature, improvement or documentation. This not only threatens the validity of studies that have used mislabelled data but may also give wrong prediction results in future. This has necessitated need for correct labelling of issue reports. The proposed work using fuzzy logic classifier suggests improvement and also reduces the complexity. Validation of this work is done using five open source projects. Experimental results have shown that our approach gives better F-measure scores. The study also elaborated on use of issue reports from other similar projects for training a model; the impact of frequent terms from the training data and applicability of our approach to fine grained categorisation of issues.","PeriodicalId":420808,"journal":{"name":"Int. Benzene symbol is widely used in aromatic chemical reactions. In this paper, we attempt to build a system which can recognise a benzene symbol from the handwritten chemical expressions, reactions or statements (HCERS). In this work a classifier has been developed. It identifies the parts of an image, which can possibly represent a benzene symbol from HCERS. On the next stage, i.e., recognition, the correct benzene structure is recognised from the identified parts of images. Two approaches, first rule based and second radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) based, have been proposed for the classifier. The scanned image of the handwritten chemical reaction, expressions or statements is input to our system. From initial phase, till testing the product complexities are numerous. Most of the time in building a product is spent towards simulating the design to check if the proposed design is successful. People with expertise in using simulators only are deployed for this purpose. Although simulation and coding skills are secondary which may not contribute to the core value in the product, it is forced that everyone should learn them. To avoid this, we have come up with an innovative solution through an application in mobile phone that involves machine learning and image processing. Our proposed application enables the user to draw the circuit which he wishes to, once drawn with freehand, the circuit would be recognised and segregation happens where wires and components are split appropriately. Then, each component will be identified through the machine learning algorithms and netlist will be generated, all in seconds with high accuracy.","PeriodicalId":420808,"journal":{"name":"Int. J.
