Условия наблюдения за потоком таковы, что каждое наблюдаемое событие порождает период мертвого времени, в течение которого другие события потока недоступны наблюдению и не вызывают продления его периода (непродлевающееся мертвое время). Находится явный вид апостериорных вероятностей состояний потока. Решение о состоянии потока выносится по критерию максимума апостериорной вероятности.
