{"title":"Penggunaan Media Bahan Alam untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Simbol Angka 1-10 Anak Usia 4-5 tahun di TK Pertiwi Gembosan Boyolali","authors":"Aning Rahayu","doi":"10.24246/audiensi.vol1.no12022pp1-11","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24246/audiensi.vol1.no12022pp1-11","url":null,"abstract":"The study carried out learning improvements designed to develop children's cognitive abilities to distinguish symbols from numbers 1-10 using natural materials at the Pertiwi Gembosa Kindergarten, Bendo, Nogosari, Boyolali for 4-5 years old. The type of research used is classroom action research with the research model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The research was conducted in 3 cycles. The children studied were children aged 4-5 years totaling 12 pupils, 9 boys and 3 girls. The data collection tool is observation (check list), which consists of observation sheets for pupils’ activities. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Technical analysis of the data was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. Success ed Indicators off study, if 80% are able to recognize the number symbols 1-10. The ability of children aged 4-5 years to recognize the number symbols 1-10 increased significantly in each cycle. Observations from the pre-action showed that 33% of children who were able and 67% of pupils were unable, the first cycle 58% of children who were able and 42% poor children, in the second cycle 75% of children who are able and 25% of pupils who cannot, the third cycle 92% are able and 8% are unable and the indicators of success have been achieved. Subjek penelitian adalah kelompok A2 yang berjumlah dua belas anak terdiri dari lima anak laki – laki dan tujuh anak perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data dengan observasi. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif yang membandingkan hasil setiap siklus dengan indikator keberhasilan. Indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu jika minimal delapan puluh satu persen dari dua belas anak memiliki keterampilan motorik halus dengan kriteria BSB (Berkembang Sangat Baik). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan motorik halus anak meningkat setelah adanya tindakan melalui metode demonstrasi teknik showing – doing – telling dengan melipat “KACA”. Pra siklus kemampuan motorik halus anak sebesar tiga puluh tiga persen. Pada siklus I sebesar enam puluh enam persen jadi mengalami peningkatan sebesar tiga puluh tiga persen, siklus II sebesar delapan puluh empat persen mengalami peningkatan sebesar delapan belas persen. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects in group A of Sinar Kasih Sangup Kindergarten were 10 children consisting of 6 girls and 4 boys. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's ability to recognize numbers 1-10 through varied play activities with loose part media, namely in the pre-cycle the ability of children to recognize numbers 1-10 is only 20%, at the first cycle meeting children's ability to recognize numbers 1-10 increases to 40%, in cycle 2 the child's ability to recognize numbers 1-10 increased to 60%, and in cycle 3 the child's ability to recognize numbers 1-10 increased to 80%. The indicator used in this study is that children are able to recognize numbers 1-10.
