It has a significant impact on all spheres of life, at the same time degrading its quality. It is not only a huge medical problem but also a social and psychological problem. The aim of the study was to examine the level of awareness and knowledge of medical and non-medical students about stress urinary incontinence.\u0000Material and methods: The study was conducted electronically using a proprietary questionnaire consisting of 24 questions. The study was attended by 107 women, including 71 female medical students and 36 non-medical students, aged 20 to 26 years. Results analysis was evaluated using the Statistica 13 program. In all tests carried out (Pearson's Chi-2 test), a significance level of 0.05 (p = 0.05) was adopted.\u0000Results: The students have an average level of knowledge about stress urinary incontinence. There were statistically significant differences in the level of knowledge between students of different faculties. A group of female medical students had more complete knowledge.\u0000Conclusions: There is a need for continuous education of women of all ages in the field of prophylaxis, risk factors and treatment of stress urinary incontinence.\u0000\u0000

It consists of a set of symptoms located in the lower limbs, and edema is one of the first and most frequent signs. The aim of this study was to investigate the lifestyle influence on frequency of lower limbs swelling formation among medicine students. Materials and methods: Analysis of questionnaire conducted among 482 students of the academic year 2018/2019 from 12 Polish medicine universities. The survey questions encompass known and possible risk factors of lower limbs edema. CEAP scale was used to assess the severity of chronic venous disease. Results: Lower limb edema occurred in 30% of the respondents, of which 55% stated the exacerbation of symptoms on the days they attended classes. Conclusions: Medical students suffer from edema, it is more common among women. The type of classes affects the manifestation of lower limbs oedema. The factors that have the greatest impact on the formation of edema in students are: prolonged standing or sitting position and high ambient temperature.

Efficiency in this discipline is also significantly determined by the level of development of the somatic features, including especially body height and shoulder range. The main aim of the study was to assess the level of development of the most important morpho-functional features characterizing female volleyball players at high sports level against the background of non-training women. Material and methods: 13 female players representing the 1st league volleyball club took part in the research. The control group consisted of 11 women not exercising any form of competitive sport. Measurements of basic somatic features were carried out: body height, body weight and its tissue components. In addition, explosive strength of the lower limbs tests (CMJ) and the Wingate test was performed. On the basis of statistical analysis, the most important somatic features and motor fitness indicators characterizing I-league volleyballers were selected. Results: The greatest differences between volleyball players and non-training women in terms of morphological features was recorded for lean body mass (LBM [kg], Z = 6.63, p <0.01). However, in terms of motor fitness indicators, the largest differences were found in terms of peak power, average power and CMJ [cm] and CMJ power [W/kg]. Calculated, respectively: Z = 2.59, p <0.001; Z = 3.22, p <0.001; Z = 2.75, p <0.001, Z = 2.54, p <0.001). Conclusions: Our research confirmed importance of selected morpho-functional features conducive to high efficiency of Female’s volleyball. Jumping tests (e.g. CMJ) assessing the motor potential of lower limbs of volleyball players have practical value in the context of recruitment, selection and control of female’s volleyball training. The Wingate test, as a diagnostic tool, can be used as an adjunct to retinal specific tests.\u0000\u0000

The aim of the study was to determine the attitudes of secondary school students towards physical culture, PE lessons and exercises. Material and methods: The research was conducted in the school year 2015/2016 among secondary school students in the Niepołomice commune. A total of 238 students were examined, including 103 girls and 135 boys. The basic research method was a diagnostic survey and the tool was the questionnaire to study youth attitudes towards physical culture by S. Strzyżewski. Results: The research showed an average level of students’ attitudes towards physical culture. Most students (61.4%) would participate in physical education lessons, even if they were optional. A large group of respondents (50.4%) believe that it would be necessary to increase the number of physical education hours at school. Boys enjoyed exercise more often than girls. They also felt a greater need to play ball games. Conclusions: Students’ attitudes towards physical culture, PE lessons and physical exercises were satisfying. The gender of the respondents differentiated the results in many areas where the percentages were higher in boys. This study assessed knowledge, attitude and participation in physical exercise by students of privately owned secondary schools in Ibadan North East Local Government Area, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Materials and methods: This study is a cross sectional survey. Informed consent was obtained from the schools and individual participants. Multi-stage sampling technique was used in selecting participants for the study. Each participant was guided in completing the questionnaire. Data on knowledge, attitude and participation in physical exercise was obtained from students. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentages and chi square. Results: Five hundred and sixty questionnaires were administered to respondents and 520 (92.9%) were completed and returned. Out of the 520 participants 258 (49.62%) were males and 262 (50.38%) were females. Out of 520 participants, 97.88% had good knowledge about physical exercise (49.23% males and 48.65% females). Out of 520 participants, 410 (78.85%) had good attitude towards physical exercise (40.96% males and 37.89% females). Male participants were better in knowledge and attitude than female participants. Participation in physical exercise was poor because participants were not putting in enough time in physical exercise. Conclusions: Boys had better knowledge about physical exercise and better attitude to physical exercise than girls.
