Based on the Linneus idea of discrimination, description and classifications, nosologists constructed several ordinations of pathology. One of them, W. The term \"specific\" needs to be understood taking into account two senses. On the one hand, as a first sense, one must consider it as something inherent to the psychic process. On the other, as a second sense, it means that constructivism in the psychic process has distinctive characteristics: and this make it differ from the concept of constructivism applied in other fields. An structured interview which included sociodemographic data, reason of the visit, and benzodiazepine use; CIS-R, GHQ-12; BI; MMSE, and a questionnaire for physicians were applied. Mean age of the sample was 72.9 +/- 6.2 years old, most women, schooling less than 8 years, 52.1% had no partner, mean family income was U$A 112 +/- 61.8. There was a significant statistical association between sleeping and psychiatric disorders. Based on five questions that evaluate the classical dimensions of parental relationships, we tried to ascertain the different types of errors that occur, and their relationships with the psychoses under study. The results revealed a greater incidence of errors in the questions linked with the generational dimension. A national household sample was drawn from the most important urban areas and 2500 persons, aged between 15 and 65 years, were selected and interviewed. Illicit substances use (include use of any of the following: marihuana, cocaine, inhalants, hallucinogens) reached 4.5% for the lifetime prevalence period, 1.1% in the last twelve months and 0.7% for the last thirty day. Twenty percent of the sample classified for tobacco dependence, and alcohol abuse, in the last 30 days, was 19.5%. An anonyme, self administered questionnaire was given to 553 youngsters in a probability sample. From findings in that study it was deemed necessary a deepen analysis on severe depression and its possible associations with ideas of suicide. Prevalence at severe depression was 4.5% and strong association was found with sadness in depression was 4.5% and strong association was found with sadness in childhood (RR 12.73), boredom (RR 10.56), retiring (RR 8.28) and nervousness (RR 3.89) as well as drugs abuse by brothers (RR 3.48) and family conflicts (RR 2.43). Possibility of having ideas of suicide is thirty three times more when depression exists. The attributable risk of suicide due to severe depression is 75%.
