The use of the environment as structured content storage does not fully contribute to engineers' competencies development. We believe the environment can offer such competitive advantages as the following qualities: adaptive, interdisciplinary, informative, and communicative. These qualities help develop a system of universal and professional engineers' competencies. The adaptive environment enables personalized learning. The interdisciplinarity promotes competencies mastering using synthesized material of humanitarian and technical disciplines. Finally, the information and communication environment allows collected data processing and captures personalized interdisciplinary interaction between teachers and students. This paper presents the structure of adaptive interdisciplinary information and communication digital environment. The pedagogical experiment proved its effectiveness in engineers' systematic competencies development.","PeriodicalId":417880,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Quality Management, Transport and Information Security, Information Technologies (IT&QM&IS)","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129804805","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Universities deal with a twofold task: training students to work in high-tech industries and the employee qualifications continuous development at industrial enterprises. Rapid technological changes lead to a negative synergetic effect and a problem of high-quality education: lack of teaching expertise leads to insufficient employee readiness to work in new conditions. To solve this problem, we suggest introducing a combination of online and offline means to train engineers and academic staff of technical departments. These means include: online monitoring of job functions update along with offline discussions with company management; project and innovation activities training; providing online information concerning advanced programs of additional professional education; creating electronic analogs storing educational content of distance learning programs; organizing education using project-based learning technologies and mutual learning.","PeriodicalId":417880,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Quality Management, Transport and Information Security, Information Technologies (IT&QM&IS)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128574755","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These opportunities known as “Digital Economy” and “Industry 4.0” require significant changes in both content and process of university education. To prepare successful graduates educators should align themselves with the 4th industrial revolution featured by remote employment and transferring of human labor functions to cyber-physical systems with artificial intelligence components. As a result, the interaction of human intelligence and the formal systems is increasing; new human-machine interfaces and formal knowledge representation models appear. Therefore, there is a need to study information transformations during human-machine interaction. The paper describes the study of semantic transformation influence on subject area representation using professional multilingual search queries in general-purpose search engines and scientometric databases. By qualitative and quantitative analysis, some linguistic patterns were distinguished and data retrieval skills development guidelines were provided.","PeriodicalId":417880,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Quality Management, Transport and Information Security, Information Technologies (IT&QM&IS)","volume":"194 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-09-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124340400","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
