Rubrum) can effectively inhibit the growth of Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans. Aside from containing active ingredients that are useful, the more value of red ginger is that it has a fresh, spicy taste, is easy to obtain and the price is cheap. So that when used as toothpaste, in addition to inhibiting the bacteria Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans that cause periodontal disease, it can also refresh the throat and oral cavity. This study aims to describe and analyze organoleptic toothpaste with antiseptic and deodorizing ingredients from red ginger stew at concentrations of 25% and 50%. This type of research is analytic research that is pre-experimental with a one-shoot case study study design. The population in this study were students of the Postgraduate Masters of Nutrition Science Study Program of Sebelas Maret University Surakarta who had received organoleptic test training totaling 96 people. Samples were taken as many as 31 people with random sampling techniques. Data analysis uses Kendall Concordance statistical test. The results showed that the average preference for aroma, taste and overall toothpaste with a concentration of 50% (rank = 1.77, 1.81 and 6.14) was higher than toothpaste with a concentration of 25% (rank = 1, 23, 1.19, 3.86). Statistical test results also showed that respondents in tune / favor preferred toothpaste with a concentration of 50% rather than 25% (p = 0,000). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada Hubungan mengkonsusmsi Softdrink terhadap keasaman PH Saliva pada Siswa/I SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik observasi, rancangan atau desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Adapun cara pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik Quota sampling, sebanyak 75 siswa/siswi SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung penelitian dengan menggunakan kertas lakmus untuk mengetahui kriteria asam dan basa. Hasil penelitian yang didapat dari 75 sampel yang mengkonsumsi Softdrink sebanyak, Softdrink Fanta 20 orang (26,67%), Sprite 34 orang (45,33%), Coca-cola 18 orang (24%) merek lain 3 orang (4%). The results showed that the results of the Mann-Whitney Test obtained Asymp.Sig (2 tailed) 0.002 probability value 0.005 thus there was a significant difference with the Mean value in the innovative video group 39.9 Mean value of the demonstration group 21.1 on the index OHIS. And the Mean value of the knowledge level in the video group 37.5 Mean value in the demonstration group 23.5. The daily food consumed by school children at home and outside the home is a cariogenic food which is one of the causes of caries. The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of caries rates that occur in elementary school age children and the dietary pattern of cariogenic food consumed by elementary school aged children in Semarang City.This type of research is analytic observational with a case control study approach. The sample was elementary school children in Tembalang Subdistrict, Semarang City as a group of cases with caries and non-caries as a control group. Cariogenic dietary variables were measured from the sugar content, frequency and consumption method using the Kariogenic Diet Survey. The data analysis used was the Chi-Square Test. Then proceed to test the causal factor analysis using the Odd Ratio.The results of the Odd Ratio showed that children who ate cariogenic foods with a high frequency had a higher caries rate than children who ate cariogenic foods less frequently. Based on the results of data analysis (correlation), it is known that caries and food frequency have a significance value of 0.004 0.05, which means that there is a significant correlation. Furthermore, between caries and food content the significance value is 0.030 0.05, which means that there is a significant correlation.The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the frequency of cariogenic foods and the content of cariogenic foods on the incidence of caries. The higher the frequency of eating cariogenic foods, the higher the incidence of caries. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, with cross sectional research methods. The population is 195 students. With a purposive sampling technique, with 48 respondents in grades 4 and 5, the measuring instruments in this study were the questionnaire and the examination sheet. Data obtained in the form of a cross tabulation table. Research carried out on 7 February 2020. The results showed that the average parent in Wiradesa SDLB had a medium level of knowledge and moderate OHI-S scores for children with a medium criterion. The conclusion obtained is about the knowledge of parents with greater oral and dental hygiene status caused by lack of parents' knowledge or information about how to care for dental and oral hygiene in children. Therefore, it is necessary to further study the relationship between the two diseases to find out their pathogenesis. In general, this study aims to determine the pattern or pattern of dental caries in stunting sufferers based on the division of sextants. While the specific goal is to determine the close relationship of risk factors for dental caries index in stunting sufferers. This type of research is a non-experimental research with cross sectional design. The study was conducted in the city of Pontianak in 2019 with the research subjects being stunting toddlers. The number of research samples is 30 children, taken randomly. Retrieval of data is done by checking and interviewing his parents. Data analysis was performed by means of analysis using descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation analysis with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of this study indicate that the sequence of sextan in the occurrence of caries in patients with stunting in a sequence are sextant II, sextant VI, sextant, IV, sextant III, sextant I, and finally sextant V. In addition, the results of the study also showed a significant relationship between risk factors for the def-T index, namely salivary pH factors (r = -0.444, Sig = 0.013), eating habits cariogenic foods (r = -0.444, Sig = 0.013), milk type factors (r = 0.520, Sig = 0.003), toothbrush factors (r = 0.654, Sig = 0.000), and debris index factors (r = 0.447, Sig = 0.013) with a degree of significance α = 0.05. The conclusion of the study was the existence of a certain pattern of dental caries in stunting sufferers and a significant relationship between risk factors and caries index in stunting sufferers. Aims of study to improve school children knowledge and attitude after give education about tooth brushing with MOGIGU and also parental attitude after socialization of the on line media. Research design is quasy experimental, with sample 100 school children and their parents with non random selection sample. Questionnaire about knowledge and attitude of children and parents are given before and after education and accompanied or supervised with MOGIGU. Differences among knowledge and attitude are analyzed by Wilcoxon test. Research result shown differences of knowledge and attitude of school children (p: 0.04 and 0.03) respectively. Parental attitude also improve after dental education and application of MOGIGU to their children. This study aims to knowing the relationship between degree of orthodontic treatment knowledge and obedient of maintain self the fixed orthodontic patient. The type of research is analytics with research design is cross sectional. The samples taken all of samples who including criteria the patient using fixed orthodontic on maxilla and/or mandible, age 15-45 years old, want to be the respondent and answer the questioner with the amount is 38 people. The variable of the research consist of influence variable is degree of orthodontic treatment knowledge using ordinal scale and variables affected is obedient of maintain self the fixed orthodontic using nominal scale. Analysis of the data using Chi-square. The result showed that the degree of orthodontic treatment knowledge high is 19 (50%), moderate knowledge is 13 (34,2%) and the low knowledge is 6 people (15,8%). While the result of obedient of maintain self with obey criteria is 22 (57,9%) and do not obey is 16 people (42,1%). The result of chi-square between 2 variable is the count of X2 is 6,214 while chi-square value X2 on the table with level of the significance 0,05 is 5,591. This result means the count X2 X2on the table, the conclusion is Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. An important component in behavior is knowledge, attitudes and actions. The residents of Samin Surosentiko Blora Regency have a characteristic ignoring the appearance and cleanliness of themselves and the surrounding environment. The results of the OHI-S examination of 50 people from Samin Surosentiko in Blimbing Hamlet, Sambongrejo Village, Sambong District, Blora Regency, found to have 30 people (60%) who had OHI-S status with poor criteria accompanied by tooth and mouth problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of behavior (knowledge, attitudes, and actions) on the maintenance of teeth and mouth on oral hygiene status (OHI-S) of Samin Surosentiko Residents in Blora Regency. Type of research used was descriptive analytic. Research design was survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were residents of Samin Surosentiko in Blimbing Hamlet, Sambongrejo Village, Sambong Subdistrict, Blora Regency aged 20-36 years and had a set of 180 teeth. Samples were taken by random sampling of 20% of the population of 36 people. Descriptive data analysed by cross tab and statistically using Chi Square Test. Results showed that the majority of respondents had oral health maintenance behaviors in poor criteria with a bad OHI-S status (41.7%). The Chi Square Test results showed that there was an effect on oral health maintenance behavior on OHI-S status (p = 0.000).
