It can be used for qualitative analysis, revealing phases and crystalline structure or quantitative, which can reveal composition, grain size (crystallite) and preferential orientation (texture). In this work the crystallographic texture (deformation and annealing) of the nickel superalloy, Inconel 600 (alloy 600), was analyzed after ECAP processing, Equal Channel Angular Pressing, and subsequent heat treatments. Crystallographic Planes {111}, {200} and {220} were analyzed due to the FCC structure of the material, in the normal direction to the cross-section. The analysis of the sample of 3 passes without heat treatment returned a texture associated with the planes and directions {111} <110>. Preferred when compared to homogeneous catalysts due to the easiness on which the separation is processed. The objective of this study is to obtain and characterize Alumina based catalysts impregnated with Nickel (Al2O3), by wet impregnation. The alumina was synthetized by combustion reaction. Before and after the impregnation the catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), granulometric analysis, the textural analysis will be held by nitrogen adsorption (BET), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show a presence of a stable crystalline phase of Al2O3 in all the studied samples and after the impregnation the second phase formed was of NiO and NiAl2O4. The Al2O3 e Ni/Al2O3 catalysts resulted in clusters with a medium diameter of 18.9 and 14.2 μm, respectively. Monte","doi":"10.36229/978-85-7042-161-6.cap.15","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.36229/978-85-7042-161-6.cap.15","url":null,"abstract":"Flotation is a process applied to separate the itabirite in its mineral components by the use of a depressor (gelatinized starch) which adsorbs preferentially on the surface of the iron minerals and then the adsorption of the collector (etheramine) aiming at hydrophobization of the quartz surface. Surfaces of quartz, hematite and compact itabirite were sanded and polished. Subsequently, a gelatinized starch conditioning was performed on the quartz and hematite surfaces.
