This research uses a qualitative method using social-historical. The object of this research is the traditional Islamic community in Bangka Island, including Pangkalpinang, Bangka Regency, Central Bangka Regency, West Bangka Regency, and South Bangka Regency. The results of this study showed that in terms of substance, the term 'Islam Nusantara' is an Islamic understanding and practice on the archipelago as a result of dialectics between Shari'a texts and local culture and reality. The spirit of 'Islam Nusantara' is an Islamic practice that is preceded by a dialectic between the sharia text and the reality and culture in which Muslims live. The perspective of ushul fiqh, the dialectical process between the sharia text and the reality and culture in which Muslims live is something normal that happens even when Islam is a universal conversation. ' Islam Nusantara' is a form of Islam as a universal religion, it has been embraced by millions of inhabitants of the archipelago and has collected thousands of legal products and other Islamic treasures. This is no different from the traditional Islamic concept on the island of Bangka. Traditional Islamic societies on the island of Bangka on certain seasons or days perform religious rituals such as nganggung. Nganggung is a form of conversion of non-Islamic beliefs to Islam. Not from a form that is converted from a dialectical form between Islamic texts and local culture. That is, Nganggung that still survive in the midst of Bangka society is not against Islam. If the Nganggung process is limited to conversion, of course there is no point in their Islam. A culture that has gained sharia legitimacy has become a ritual of worship. These two languages are used separately for different purposes. But in its development, written language and spoken language are used simultaneously so that now the term discussing chatting. This paper attempts to examine the development of these types of languages both from structuralist and functionalist glasses. The two major schools eventually brought this study to the point of problems regarding language, namely discourse. Discourse studies are able to examine languages ranging from words, phrases, clauses, and sentences comprehensively both first order meaning and second order meaning. The result of the study shows that the discourse on Facebook is a different discourse from other forms of discourse. The difference lies in its media, the shape of the text, and the nature of the text. The media is a forum that can be found in cyberspace through computer devices and internet networks. The form of text is in the form of a written conversation between two people or even more. In these conversations between the speaker and the partner do not deal directly but can directly comment, refute, criticize, or approve the opinions of the speaker. The grammatical elements of internet languages are very different which are shown through the structure of the sentence, the presentation of words, and inflection of words. Many choices of words or alphabet that are not everyday language. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh hubungan antara penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris, dan minat Bahasa Inggris terhadap kemampuan menulis Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa Program TOEFL dari Mahasiswa PGSD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung, baik secara parsial dan kesinambungan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua jenis tes sebagai teknik pengumpulan data yaitu tes pilihan ganda untuk mengambil data vocabulary, tes essay untuk mengambil data kemampuan menulis, serta menggunakan angket untuk mengumpulkan data minat Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang mengikuti Program Kelas TOEFL, dengan diambil 30 mahasiswa secara random sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengolahan data dari penelitian ini menggunakan analisis single dan multiple korelasi dan regresi. Hasi akhir dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris, dan minat Bahasa Inggris terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa Program TOEFL dari Mahasiswa PGSD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung, baik secara parsial dan kesinambungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah true experimental design dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan Cluster Random Sampling. Kelas eksperimen mendapat pembelajaran menggunakan media video, kelas kontrol tidak menggunakan media video. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket dan tes. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh video terhadap minat belajar dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t, karena itu hasil uji signifikan secara statistik, dengan demikian kita dapat menolak hipotesis nol dimana tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata pengaruh video terhadap minat belajar kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Untuk pengaruh video terhadap hasil belajar menggunakan uji t, karena itu hasil uji signifikan secara statistik, dengan demikian kita dapat menerima hipotesis alternatif dimana ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil uji hipotesis ketiga terdapat hubungan positif antara minat dan hasil belajar.
