The extended plant consists of an original plant and a filter that generates the input signal to the plant. Then the proposed static output feedback controller generates the auxiliary input from the triggered output signal of the plant. The design conditions proposed are reduced to convex conditions, while conventional design methods of static feedback controllers need some approximation. Numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed event-triggered control.","PeriodicalId":416828,"journal":{"name":"Transactions of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124001402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed method is formulated as mixed integer linear programming using statistical information and binary variables, which allows us to obtain the deterministic optimization problem from the stochastic optimization problem. Moreover, it does not need to assume a class of stochastic process such as white noise. This paper also shows that the present method can be applied to real stochastic systems that have only low computation specifications, through an example problem on online optimal mode management for a Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle. The usefulness of the method is demonstrated via a detailed numerical simulator named ADVISOR, and the results show that the amount of the fuel consumption is reduced and computation time is small enough for the problem.","PeriodicalId":416828,"journal":{"name":"Transactions of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers","volume":"116 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124140453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, we modeled quad-rotor as a linear system. Next, we described a method to suppress nonlinear disturbance using RISE which is a type of sliding mode control. In addition, we introduced collision avoidance method, and derived the conditions to achieve accurate formation by using Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, we implemented an algorithm in the simulation, and confirmed that the proposed method is functioning correctly.","PeriodicalId":416828,"journal":{"name":"Transactions of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125567262","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We consider the situation in which the samplers for measuring the output of the plant are spatially distributed and their communication with the observer is scheduled according to a round-robin scheduling protocol. We allow the observer gains to dynamically change in synchronization with the scheduling of communications. In this context, we propose a linear matrix inequality (LMI) framework to design the observer gains that ensure the asymptotic stability of the error dynamics in continuous time. We illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods by several numerical simulations.","PeriodicalId":416828,"journal":{"name":"Transactions of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers","volume":"38 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132124417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
