Within the framework, the classes of XML transformations as well as the streaming algorithms are represented as formal models. The efficiency of the algorithms designed is proved with mathematical rigor by simulations of transformation models by streaming models. Subsequently, we design an efficient stack-based streaming algorithm for processing top-down XML transformations. However, ME has not been yet, widely spread in the professional world. Our belief is that limitations such as the lack of standards, the proposal of proprietary solutions and an excessive emphasis on engineering issues hamper the practical use of existing ME approaches. To overtake these limitations the position of this paper is to view a Method as a Service (MaaS) and to adapt the SOA architecture to make method and their components widely accessible on the Internet. The mechanics of seventy-two individual, object-oriented refactorings are specified in the seminal text by Fowler, providing the steps that need to be undertaken to complete each. While it is relatively easy to identify dasiarelatedpsila refactorings, i.e., those that each refactoring itself directly uses as part of those mechanics, what is not so clear is the chain of required refactorings that may emerge due to these indirect (and composite) relationships. In this paper, we investigate the characteristics of fourteen of the seventy-two refactorings, identifying, for each, its related refactorings and the implications this may have for the overall time and effort required to carry out each. We supported our analysis with data from a previous empirical analysis. The key result was that refactorings inducing long chains tended to be utilized less by developers than refactorings with short chains, suggesting that complexity given by long chains may be a real consideration prior to refactoring; empirically, long chains were found to be composed of sets of smaller, inter-related refactorings. However, most of the literature that discusses project failure tends to be rather general, supplying us with lists of risk and failure factors, and focusing on the negative business effects of the failure. Very little research has attempted an in-depth investigation of a number of failed projects to identify exactly what are the factors behind the failure. In this research we analyze data from 70 failed projects. This data provides us with practitionerspsila perspectives on 57 development and management factors for projects they considered were failures. Our results show that all projects we investigated suffered from numerous failure factors. For a single project the number of such factors ranges from 5 to 47. While there does not appear to be any overarching set of failure factors we discovered that all of the projects suffered from poor project management. Most projects additionally suffered from organizational factors outside the project managerpsilas control. They are supposed to enable seamless interoperation between systems, whereby human intervention is kept at a minimum. Nevertheless, semantic Web services have not yet been adopted by the industry. Within the scope of this work, we discuss the correspondence of the viewpoints of experts from academia and industry with respect to current challenges and the latest achievements in the field of Semantic Web service research. Our primary objective is to identify technology locks between industrial needs and research activities. Additionally, we take a first step toward the production of a technology roadmap with respect to Semantic Web services. The discourse is based on the findings of a comprehensive Delphi study which was conducted in early 2007. This paper describes a model driven approach to facilitate the construction of OWL-S specifications. The methodology is divided into three main steps. In the first step we reverse engineered WSDL documents into UML profile models that enable the use of high-level graphical models as an integration platform for semantic web services. In the second step, suitable domain ontologies are used for the semantic annotation of the UML models. Finally, in the third step a conversion tool will generate automatically the OWL-S description from these UML models. The research community has identified the need to offer new methods and methodologies in order to build a good environment to develop web information systems and to offer to the users, menus which are perfectly adapted to their requirements. WEB and audio services have to provide the best possible services. To achieve this goal, they have to anticipate what a customer is the most open to do without altering his privacy. This paper presents three ways to manage and build adaptative menus. These methods are ACO model of Dorigo, learning by antpsilas analogy with two smoothing methods. Later on, a comparison of these three methods will be made based on two criteria: efficiency (answering time and computer load) and accuracy with customer expectation.
