Birdhouses, which are generally built on brick and stone materials such as palaces, mosques, houses, inns, madrasas, libraries and tomb, are unique structures that require labor as much as an architectural structure. Due to the difficulties in the construction phase, it is seen that the production of birdhouses in the architectural works made today is about to disappear and the existing ones cannot be protected. Most of the birdhouses built using different materials today consist of simple forms and are built on architectural structures, while some birdhouses are displayed in open areas regardless of the building. This study focuses on birdhouses that have survived from the past to the present. In this context, firstly the literature about bird houses was searched. The works of local and foreign ceramic artists working in birdhouses using ceramic materials were examined visually. Accordingly, ceramic artists working in a birdhouse are explained in alphabetical order. Accordingly, three ceramic artists from Turkey (Cihat Burak, Deniz Onur Erman, Mezahir Ertug Avsar) and five from abroad (Douglas Fey, Jim Schatz, Joop Van Ulden, Michael Mcdowell, Stanley Cleve Bi Bitters) were presented with their visuals. Tezhipli eserler hem donemleri hem de iceriklerinde bulunan bilgiler sayesinde gecmisimize isik tutmaktadir. Bu esereler yazilip suslendikleri donemin sanat anlayisini, uslubunu ve farkliliklarini gosterir. Tarihimize dair tezyini gelismeleri takip edebilmemiz, ogrenebilmemiz ve degerlendirip inceleyebilmemiz acisindan tezhipli eserler cok onemlidir. El yazmasi eserlerin korunmasi, daha iyi anlasilmasi ve gelecek nesillere aktarilmasi amaciyla ‘Fransiz Milli Kutuphanesi’nde Bulunan ‘482’ Envanter Numarasi ile Kayitli Kur-ân-i Kerim’ in tezyini ozelliklerinin degerlendirilmesi calismanin konusu olarak belirlenmistir. Bozulmadan korunmasi saglanmis tezhipli bolumler desen, motif, renk, tasarim butunlugu, yazi murekkebi ve teknik bakimdan incelenmistir. Mushaf’in yazildigi donem tezyinati hakkinda bilgi verilmistir. The journalism profession, which has been the subject of many films over time, has been handled from various aspects depending on the transformation it has undergone and periodic conditions, and such important works have been produced. Investigative journalism, which is accepted as an important field of journalism, has gained importance since the 1970s and has started to be addressed in cinema in parallel with this. Considering the direct relationship of investigative journalism with the social, its representation in cinema is striking. Cinema films reflect the social and such films are important in terms of reflecting the social role of journalism and its relationship with society. From this point of view, the movie \"Spotlight (2015)\", which was shot recently and focused on investigative journalism, was found worth examining. The aim of the study is to examine the social role of investigative journalism in the movie \"Spotlight\" with a sociological approach. In this study, the movie \"Spotlight\" has been analyzed using the Sociological Analysis Method of Arthur Asa Berger. Devletin ilk yillarinda, sozu edilen medeniyetlerin izlerini tasiyan cok sayida tezhipli eserler hazirlanmistir. Kisa zamanda kulturel acidan kendine ozgu bir devlet yapisina sahip olan Safevi yonetiminde, Fars bolgesinin merkezi Şiraz basta olmak uzere Tebriz, Kazvin, Herat, Isfahan ve Horasan bolgesinde onemli yazmalar uretilmistir. Şiraz kenti, XVI. yuzyil boyunca baskent disinda nitelikli yazmalarin fazlaca uretildigi bir tasra merkezi olmustur. Şiraz kitap sanatlarinda zengin malzeme kullanilarak hazirlanmis tezhipli yazmalar en cok edebi ve tarih nushalari ile Kurân-i Kerimlerden olusmaktadir. Bu eserlerden bazilari o donem kosullarinda cesitli sebeplerle Osmanli Devleti’nin baskenti Istanbul basta olmak uzere pek cok kentine de getirilmistir. Ozellikle Istanbul’da Osmanli burokratlari tarafindan hediye olarak aranan eserler, Şiraz kitap atolyelerinden temin edilen Fars klasiklerinden Hamse-i Nizâmi’nin nushalari olmustur. Topkapi Sarayi Muzesi Kutuphanesinde Şiraz’da uretildigi bilinen Hamse-i Nizâmi yazma sayisi oldukca fazladir. Kur’an ayetlerinin Hz. Peygamberin tesvik ve takdirleriyle guzel yazilmaya baslanmasi ile birlikte gelisme gosteren yazi sanati Musluman devletler eliyle ve son olarak ecdadimizin katkilariyla basli basina bir sanat haline gelmistir. Hat sanati olarak adlandirilan bu sanatimiz, kitap sanatlarinin yaninda dini ve mimari eserlerde de kullanilmistir. Bu mimari eserlerin basinda ise suphesiz camiler gelmektedir. Camilerin ic kismini cevreleyen kusak kisimlarinda, kubbe, mihrap cevresi, minber, kapi ve pencere alinliklari gibi uygun yerlerde ayet ve hadisler yazilarak suslemeleri yapilmis, asirlar boyu bu camileri dolduran cemaate goz zevkinin yaninda ilahi emirler de telkin edilmistir. Bu calismamizda Selcuklunun baskenti kadim sehrimiz Konya’da bulunan Alâeddin Camiinin cini mihrabi ile ilgili bir calisma yapilmistir.
