Programs for simulation of the models of these systems exist, by which some of their dependability indices can be calculated. In this excerpt two software products are analysed as well as the possibilities for graphical representation of the results.","PeriodicalId":416020,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th Electrical Engineering Faculty Conference (BulEF)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115546210","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The average monthly energy production of photovoltaic energy and energy consumption of a block of flats in Ruse (Bulgaria) are used to perform a cost-benefit analysis for different scenarios. The results showed that 6.7 kWp installed photovoltaic power would be optimal in terms of payback and installed power. Furthermore, the results led to the conclusion such installation is feasible and could be implemented on the roof of the building.","PeriodicalId":416020,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th Electrical Engineering Faculty Conference (BulEF)","volume":"118 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127301273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The developed method is used to incorporate three different types of seismic modeling: random vibration, response spectrum and harmonic response analyzes, based on modal analysis results. The combination of finite element analyzes is done by Ansys-Workbench software. Results were obtained and analyzed for mechanical deformation, local accelerations and influence of modal shapes frequencies on vibration spectra during seismic events.","PeriodicalId":416020,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th Electrical Engineering Faculty Conference (BulEF)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133518797","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Widely used method for porous media characterization is experimental capillary rise method. Non-woven porous media textiles can be characterized by studying the kinetics of liquid rise within the pore spaces. It is well known that the porous structure of the non-woven fabric gives an advantage associated with the deeper penetration of the plasma into the treated material. The electrical and magnetic polarization of textile filaments carried out under atmospheric or lowered gas pressure is a useful method for changing their surface state. Experimental studies have been conducted to determine the capillary activity of porous non-woven filter PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) textile material by capillary rise after low temperature plasma treatment in vacuum. The aim of this study is to use the capillary activity changes as a measure for the type and the extent of modification of non-woven needle felted textile materials after their treatment in ionized media. In the present article, it has been shown that the capillary activity measurement of can be successfully used to analyze the changes occurring along with the physicochemical filament modification in the cold plasma medium.","PeriodicalId":416020,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th Electrical Engineering Faculty Conference (BulEF)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126850114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Flexibility has been identified as an essential property of power systems, and indices and metrics used to recognize and evaluate a power system flexibility are continually defined. In this paper some indices and metrics that have already been developed are briefly presented and discussed. Also different methods for enhancing the flexibility are presented in more details.","PeriodicalId":416020,"journal":{"name":"2018 10th Electrical Engineering Faculty Conference (BulEF)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127144240","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
