Simulation of probabilistic models

Abstract

Nowadays the quantitative estimation of risk is crucial in the realization of the so-called “risk systems”. Programs for simulation of the models of these systems exist, by which some of their dependability indices can be calculated. In this excerpt two software products are analysed as well as the possibilities for graphical representation of the results.
