It is possible to find standalone inverters, string level DC/AC inverters as well as DC/AC module level microinverters. Much harder to find available on the market DC/DC MPPT converters for 600V DC grid. Especially with galvanic isolation. As the DC micro grid that is built in Riga Technical University the “+” and “-” wires not grounded (and can not be grounded) so for safety reasons it is better to isolate galvanically photovoltaic panels from DC grid. For this reason there is designed string level MPPT DC/DC converter. In traditional internet, there is narrow scope of choices one can take when ingress traffic overloads physical connection limits. This paper proposes Firewall as a service in internet service providers (ISP) networks allowing end users to request and install match-action rules in ISPs edge routers. In proposed scenario, ISP runs Software Defined Networking environment where control plane is separated from data plane utilizing OpenFlow protocol and ONOS controller. For interaction between end-users and SDN Controller author defines an Application Programming Interface (API) over a secure SSL/TLS connection. The Controller is responsible for translating high-level logics in low-level rules in OpenFlow switches. This study runs experiments in OpenFlow test-bed researching a mechanism for end-user to discard packets on ISP edge routers thus minimizing their uplink saturation and staying on-line.","PeriodicalId":415830,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 3rd Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129031269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present article discusses several solutions to improve the performance of CPU architectures and eventually overcome the Operating Systems overhead inconveniences. This paper focuses on the innovative CPU implementation named nMPRA-MT, designed for small real-time applications. This implementation uses replication and remapping techniques for the program counter, general purpose registers and pipeline registers, enabling multiple threads to share a single pipeline assembly line. In order to increase predictability, the proposed architecture partially removes the hazard situation at the expense of larger execution latency per one instruction.","PeriodicalId":415830,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 3rd Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130653223","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The drawbacks of these methods under conditions of fuzzy and incomplete initial information are shown. In order to obtain more reliable electrical energy balances under such conditions a new probabilistic-statistical approach is proposed. The method uses a hierarchical principle of obtaining electrical energy balances with two levels: electrical energy balances by types of products and electrical energy balances by technological equipment, which are involved in production processes of each type of products. Advisability of application regression analysis for calculation electrical energy balances on the first level is considered. The methods proposed for calculation electrical energy balances on the second level include expert survey, simulation, probabilistic-statistical methods and optimization techniques.","PeriodicalId":415830,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 3rd Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133077380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The malfunction may be revealed through detection of faulty segments. Difficulties to automate image analysis arise from existing intensity and geometric distortions. We adopt concepts of biological visual systems to improve performance of computational system. In this paper we compare conventional and bio-inspired local feature detectors along with descriptors, and introduce a new feature matching approach based on evidence accumulation. Finally we construct specialized algorithm for alignment of LCD images. The performance of the proposed algorithm has been evaluated on the set of semi-synthetic images. The comparison with common image registration techniques shows elimination of image misalignments.","PeriodicalId":415830,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 3rd Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"296 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132339494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Rooting from the machine learning, recommender systems are in the center of the knowledge engineering that are used frequently in many computer science related fields. Therefore, this paper tries to utilize time information inferred from users' ages, which is going to be employed in the recommender systems during the similarity calculation between users. Adding more parameters, in other words, inserting detailed information of the users' preferences into the calculations will stimulate the resolution of fulfilling results thanks to new criterion. Specifically, it is proposed a conversion between two particular dates which are relevant to the user's personal data. 10-year interval is considered as a transition between generations, thus generation gap between users can make sense positively or negatively in terms of the amount of gap. Additionally, for the prerequisite of being a peer, it is defined a 3-year long difference can be a boundary to say that two users can be in the same wavelength. From the inspiration of this idea, a new mathematical addition into the well-known similarity calculation is presented in this paper. Eventually, this further time detail is taken into account via inverse proportion in similarity calculation and time incorporation approach for recommender system is emphasized. All in all, proposed method is to be tested with a real valued Movie Lens-MLP dataset on the platform of MatLab.","PeriodicalId":415830,"journal":{"name":"2015 IEEE 3rd Workshop on Advances in Information, Electronic and Electrical Engineering (AIEEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128186470","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
