A semi-structured questionnaire was applied to fish farmers and identified through environmental licensing issued for distribution in the basin; the geostatistical kriging method was used to analyze the productive concentration. The time series presented a growth in tanks and area, going from 707 in 2008 to 2,441 in 2020. As for the installation of tanks, 60% of fish farmers use the pasture area and 40% the Permanent Preservation area. The most widely used crop system is the extensive one, with the major breeding of the species being the Colossoma macropomum. We surveyed during the high season (July/2019) by applying a semi-structured questionnaire. Both the TRs and CL highlighted the positive economic impact of tourism. Concerning the negative impacts, both groups highlighted the environmental impact of tourism. The perception of tourism for TRs and CL pointed out impacts in the economic, social and environmental areas. In this context, the objective was to identify the provision of ecosystem services in the semi-arid landscape of the Riacho São José Basin in Pernambuco according to the different classes of land cover. The methodology is based on the technical guidelines of the Common International Classification of Ecosystem Services, fieldwork, geographic information systems and RAW Graphs platform. Such procedures allowed the identification of 51 SE, of which 22 are provision, 19 with the function of regulation and maintenance and 10 of a cultural nature. This essay seeks to decipher geopoetic connections between earth and place as expressed in the metaphors of Tunga’s installations presented in Instituto Inhotin and at the 33th São Paulo Art Biannual. Based on the creative return in Geography and informed by the field of phenomenological studies, geopoetic expressions of ‘X-Estudo’ (2009) and ‘Sem Título’ [from ‘La Voie Humide’ Series] (2014) artworks in their capacity to unravel existential spaces. It is comprehended that cosmos expanded by earthly worlds elucidate interconnections at the hearth of primal relations to place. Through digital processing of images in a GIS environment, it was possible to map 12 classes of land cover. The results showed that the highest percentage of the study area is covered by fields with the presence of shrub vegetation and a predominance of pasture. Other classes (mobile dunes and sandy shoreline, undergrowth and exposed land) characterize a high level of environmental vulnerability and risk of erosion, illustrating the need for sustainable management techniques. Based on the techniques and evaluation criterias, the mapping indicated very good agreement, emphasizing the quality of the visual interpretation of the image and the classification method employed. The theme seeks an approach between geometric theory of fractals and the cognitive and conceptual mapping processes. It is intended to explore the possibilities of cultural analysis of allegories, such as scenic structures of carnival parades. The work brings together images from several South American countries in a comparative cultural approach. As the stages of the study show a recreation of faces of the figure of Rei Momo as a catalyst for collective creativity in several carnival cities in the continent. Firstly, by identifying cars and figures in fractal reading, after the conceptual indicators of power. This work aims to understand the physiography and hydrology of the high course of the hydrographic basin of Santo Antônio, Ilha do Maranhão through morphometric analysis. This research has a theoretical and empirical character and in order to reach the objective, a bibliographic, cartographic and morphometric data survey was carried out, thematic maps were elaborated and field work was carried out. The morphometric data collected in the study area took into account the linear and sandy analysis and through the results achieved it was possible to better interpret the physiography and the hydrological behavior of the high course. In this sense, the objective of this research work is to assess the environmental status of the drainage basin of Pequeno river, Paraty Municipality, Rio de Janeiro State, with emphasis on soil erosion. The methodological procedures involved bibliographical and documentary surveys, fieldwork, analysis of soil attributes and thematic mappings. The results show that the relief characteristics contribute to geomorphological processes acceleration and, despite the limitations, soils showed low erodibility.
