This paper showed that creativity and critical thinking are essential ingredients that defines much credibility in individuals in the society. It was then concluded that creative and critical thinking are pivotal to students’ success in the 21st century society and otherwise. In this regard, an experimental and a control group were constituted. The academic motivation questionnaire (Harter, 1981) was used to measure participant’s motivation. Further, two instances of a multiple-choice questions test on a topic in Geometry were designed to measure student’s academic achievement. In order to collect data, the pre-tests were applied to each group at the beginning of the lessons. The experimental group was taught using GeoGebra and the control group was trained with the traditional teaching method. At the end of the lessons, the post-tests were administered to both groups. The statistical difference between participant’s post-test academic motivation and learning of the experimental and control group was analyzed with ANCOVA after examining the assumptions of this test, namely normality and homogeneity in each group. {"title":"Review of Selected Studies on Aesthetic Sports and Creative Arts","authors":"R. The division into individual and collective is considered fundamental. From the aspect of all divisions, they are mainly bipolar (like Men/Women Artistic Gymnastics) instead of the psychological typology of sports activities, where certain individual sports belong to the group of aesthetic-coordination ones. Rhythmic gymnastics (RG) is the most typical representative in this group, where complex movements predominate most acyclic type. Activities in RG occur in several disciplines with different apparatus (rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon), and only younger age categories have exercises without apparatus. In each domain, many elements are performed, which differ according to their structural groups, although exercises of a dynamic character prevail over static ones. Previously, the structure of sports achievement was determined based on the so-called Equation of success specification, which assessed the contribution of specific segments of the anthropological status of athletes in the prediction of sports results. However, when the result depends on the subjective assessment of the judge, the structure is proposed through the Code of Points (CoP). The decisive factors that prevail in line on the Rules of Assessment, which accurately considers the difficulty of the elements for free routines, musical accompaniment, and the appearance throe the artistic impression of the gymnast. In general, it is a sports activity in which a perfect symbiosis of music and movement is achieved, with a solid aesthetic impression when performing free routines. These characteristics are also present in other sports within this group, with similarities in the methodology of training, the elements of technical difficulties, and the way of assessing the athletes’ achievements. The purpose of this activity is to social life and the university environment in order to increase student’s interest and confidence in deciding to continue their education to a higher level. This activity is a form of community service carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela with the Mataram State Islamic University. The activity consists of three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and closing. The target of this activity is all class XII students at Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela, with a total of 58 students. Gender influence on students achievement was also examined. A total of one hundred and fifteen (115) secondary school Physics students were involved in the study; the research work was carried out in the Wukari Education Zone of Taraba State. This research work adapted a quasi-experimental research design involving pre-test and post-test. Three research questions and three hypotheses were raised. Physics Achievement Test (PAT) was used for data collection. The items of PAT were subjected to item analysis. The reliability coefficient of the instrument was obtained using Kuder-Richardson 20 formula is .8. Mean and standard deviation was used to answer the research questions, while Analysis of Covariance was used to test the hypotheses formulated at .05 significance level. From the analysis, it is revealed that a statistically significant difference exists in the mean academic achievement scores of students taught physics using CMS and those taught using GDM in favor of CMS. Gender differences are not statistically significant in the mean academic achievement scores for both CMS and GDM groups. It is evident from the findings of this study that the use of CMS could provide a good way for students to learn Physics. It is recommended, based on the findings of the study, that Physics teachers should be encouraged to use a CMS while teaching Physics concepts to actively involve the students in identifying relationships in concepts. The study adopted a survey research design. The population of this study comprised of 1601 Business Studies teachers in 2020/2021 academic session in Bauchi State, Nigeria. The sample of 400 business teaches were sampled for the study. The instrument for the data collection was 60 items 5 Likert Scale Questionnaire. The instrument was validated by 5 expects and pilot tested at Gombe State. A Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.834 was obtained. The data were collected by researcher assisted by five researach assistants. The data were analyzed Liner Logistic Regression to test the research hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The results indicated that WLB and WFB have significant influence on job performance and job satisfaction of Business Studies teachers in Bauchi State, Nigeria. It was concluded that, the negative attitude such as absenteeism, lateness, inability of covering the curriculum, personal and interpersonal conflicts of business studies teachers in school are as a result of difficulty in coping with WFB and WLB. The researcher recommended that, the Bauchi State government should employ more Business Studies teachers that will help to reduce workloads on existing teachers. Further, the differences across media multitasking groups when the subjects are performing a cognitive task in the presence of music were studied to understand the role of music in cognitive performance in terms of cognitive control. A sample of 300 girl students from the Government schools of Chandigarh in the age range of 14-18 years (mean age= 15.7 years) was taken for the purpose. The media multitasking questionnaire (Ophir et al., 2009) and the Stroop task (Stroop, 1935) were used. The two media multitasking groups, viz., heavy and light media multitaskers, significantly differed from each other. Media multitasking and cognitive control were found to be linked and the role of music indicated facilitating trend for performance. This research is exploratory qualitative research that uses observation and interviews as a way to obtain data. The data and information obtained are used as a basis in discussing this research problem with descriptive analysis. All lecturers take advantage of the available learning facilities by implementing synchronous and asynchronous learning sessions. Some information was obtained from interviews with lecturers stating that in using synchronous sessions, the lecturers use the Zoom, Google Meet, and VLM facilities to manage teleconference model lectures. Meanwhile, lecturers use the Google Classroom facility to carry out various activities in using asynchronous sessions, including sending reading assignments, projects, online discussions, and sending asynchronous class schedules. One of the learning strategies in this research is the strategy of managing the online learning process. In the strategy of managing learning, creating student discipline, in this case, so that students actively participate by turning on the camera in a synchronous session, is needed to create meaningful interactions. This study aims to understand the confidence and concentration of badminton national referees in leading matches. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this research is all 140 Indonesian national badminton referees with national licenses A and B. The sample technique used in this research is using purposive sampling technique with the number of subjects used in this study are 26 national referees A and B. The instrument used is a self-confidence questionnaire. and referee concentration as many as 32 statements. The data analysis technique in this study used a validity test measured by the correlations product moment technique and a reliability test using the Cronbach's alpha technique. From the validity test, the value of sig 0.004 was obtained for the confidence questionnaire and sig 0.000 for the concentration questionnaire. The results of the reliability test obtained a value of 0.871 for the self-confidence questionnaire and a value of 0.975 for the concentration questionnaire. The results showed that the level of self-confidence was 1 person (4%) in very low category, 2 (8%) in moderate category, 4 (15%) in high category, and 19 (73%) in very high category.
