With a vast coastline and numerous inland water bodies, India has immense potential for fish production. the sector provides employment opportunities to millions of people, particularly in coastal and rural areas. However, the sector is undergoing a transformation, with increased adoption of modern technologies and practices to improve productivity and quality. The government has also launched various schemes and initiatives to support the sector. The marketing of fish in India is primarily conducted through traditional fish market, retail shops, and online platforms. With the growth of the e-commerce industry in India, many fish producer and retailers have started using digital platforms to reach a wider audience. However, there is still a need for further investments in technology, infrastructure, and research to enhance the sectors efficiency and profitability. Effective marketing strategies that consider the diverse consumer preference and demand for fish products across different regions in India can also contribute to the sectors growth and development\u0000KEY WORDS: Aquaculture, fish farming, fish markets, fish conservation and sustainability","PeriodicalId":413906,"journal":{"name":"EPRA International Journal of Economic Growth and Environmental Issues","volume":"22 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139390312","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The issue of joblessness in India is explored in this paper. This studys information is secondary data collected between 2010 and 2020. Unemployment (UNEMP) serves as the dependent variable, with Gross Domestic Product (MKTP) and Inflation (INF) serving as the independent variables. The findings show that due to increased uncertainty, inflation significantly negatively impacts economic performance in India. The use of a log of real GDP, the nature of the regression model applied, and the fact that the impact of human capital and physical capital has been controlled explain why unemployment has not significantly affected Indias real GDP. Indias economic performance has been dramatically boosted by the countrys physical and human capital investments. Human capital investment boosts labour force productivity, which in turn boosts output. In contrast, physical capital investment increases the amount of capital per unit of labour, which in turn can boost productivity per worker. As a result, productivity rises and the economy benefits. The leading causes of unemployment are the rapid increase in the worlds population, the dearth of available jobs, and the inefficiency of the public sector. Through its strategies and resources, the Indian government may seek to attract foreign investors to facilitate the modernization of Indias agriculture sector and the creation of new jobs in the private sector. To comprehensively assess the gravity of the climate predicament and appraise the effectiveness of sustainable technological innovations, this study highlights the urgent necessity for joint ventures aimed at surmounting barricades inhibiting the smooth integration of these technologies in diverse sectors. Disturbingly, the findings of this investigation illustrate a notable upsurge in the levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, which can be attributed to economic undertakings, industrial activities, energy consumption, and policies, all of which compound the global climate crisis. Renewable energy sources are becoming increasingly important in the fight against global warming. Carbonization, which releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, is largely to blame for exacerbating the problem. This process has had devastating effects on ecosystems and biodiversity. To combat these effects, we need to transition away from using fossil fuels and towards using renewable energy sources. However, operational challenges in integrating renewable energy into existing electricity networks, coupled with a lack of public awareness and education about renewable energy, pose significant obstacles to widespread adoption. These areas are distinguished by their intricate socioeconomic dynamics, fast urbanisation, and prevalence of informality. This study looks at the difficulties that peri-urban zones of Indian cities confront, concentrating on the obstacles and worries that exist in these areas. The research consisted of a literature evaluation followed by case studies to determine the most important problems and worries. According to the findings, peri-urban regions in India confront a number of challenges, the most significant of which are inadequate infrastructure, unplanned development, weak governance, and environmental degradation. Concerns include things like how land is used, where people live and work, their health, their childrens education, and other public services. The paper comes to a close with a discussion of the implications of these challenges and concerns, as well as offering recommendations to address them in a manner in which city managers can play an important role and track their thought process regarding sustainable planned development for respective cities.\u0000KEYWORDS: Urbanization, Rural-urban interface, Infrastructure, Land use, Sustainability","PeriodicalId":413906,"journal":{"name":"EPRA International Journal of Economic Growth and Environmental Issues","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116303206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sometimes, water is treated as a public good when it is abundantly available, but due to rapid growth of urbanization, industrialization, population, and urban lifestyle put more pressure on water bodies now water is a scarce resource. Currently, water is treated as economic good. Once, the urban lakes act as freshwater resources but presently act as wastewater recipients in urban areas. Therefore this paper discusses the importance of urban lakes and its ecosystem service, the various threats to urban lakes, and conservation methods. A large quantity of manmade activities near the water tank. During the study period, 48 species of zooplankton - 14 species of Rotifera, 12 species of Cladocera, 6 species of Ostracoda and 4 species of Copepoda were observed. Among zooplankton, Rotifera was (645 no./Org) noticed as the dominant group in the entire the study period and the maximum count was identified in the summer period while less numbers were noticed during winter season. Zooplankton community is also significantly correlated with some physico-chemical variables. Arguably, the 1978 reform initiative retrospectively meant a shift from an extensive agriculture-based economy to an innovative, and industrialized manufacturing hub. Thus, this paper seeks to give a clear- cut analysis by applying the multiple time series regression on the nexus between innovation and the economic growth in China during the period (2000-2020). In order to provide a sound research, the study is interested in answering the following questions, what role does innovation have in the Chinese economy,?
