Human life has always been determined by communicative instruments, whether they fail or succeed to achieve their goals. When individuals ask questions, probe issues by way of inquiries, exchange ideas, or examine conditions, they operate always by way of linguistic means, language. Social, political, philosophical, or religious issues are critically addressed through language, and this finds a vivid expression in Rudolf’s romance as well. The protagonist, perhaps more than in many other texts of his time, appears to be a perfect communicator who models his life and that of his contemporaries with the help of dialogues, relying on various languages and sophisticated, calculating speech acts. If this approach proves to be effective, we might gain a new theoretical approach to literary analysis at large which promises to reestablish the social relevance of literature globally since literature constantly develops models of communicative situations and thus contributes to the better development of human life.","PeriodicalId":41323,"journal":{"name":"ETUDES GERMANIQUES","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136238157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

La première construit à partir des énoncés explicites de Heine l’image d’un bon Luthérien, fidèle serviteur de l’État. La seconde, lisant « entre les lignes », fait ressortir le contenu subversif de la pensée hégélienne. Cette seconde perspective fait apparaître une grande affinité avec les Jeunes hégéliens, notamment en ce qui concerne les implications athées de l’hégélianisme et l’intention politique de réaliser la philosophie par les actes. Au cours des dernières années de sa vie, Heine s’éloigne cependant de l’athéisme de Bauer et Strauss, Feuerbach et Marx, qu’il avait accepté auparavant, mais il en vient à se réconcilier avec Hegel qu’il perçoit désormais en penseur modéré entre les extrêmes.","PeriodicalId":41323,"journal":{"name":"ETUDES GERMANIQUES","volume":"143 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136238517","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has thus been compelling to inquire into the type of dialogue that he had with the various Christian denominations and some of their foremost representatives. One such study was carried out by Hans Urs von Balthasar (1905-1988), a Swiss Jesuit, German scholar, philosopher, theologian and translator. The short book that von Balthasar has devoted to Buber contrasts sharply with the lenifying tone frequently used by Christian analysts of his thought. Its fascinating, deep and well-informed comments, however, lead to set clearly the limits in the dialogue between Judaism and Christianity.","PeriodicalId":41323,"journal":{"name":"ETUDES GERMANIQUES","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136238163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fall of the Wall led to an almost complete overhaul of the museum landscape, which has been ongoing for a generation through many controverses. The founding of the Humboldt Forum led to a sharp confrontation with the questions of appropriation of postcolonial objects. Finally, the design of a global Berlin is an uncertain bet in the competition of global metropolises, in terms of international tourism and local memories.","PeriodicalId":41323,"journal":{"name":"ETUDES GERMANIQUES","volume":"144 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136238164","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

What about museology in the Netherlands? Do Dutch science and society museums embrace this concept? A legacy of Hegel, the opposition between the serious philosophical and political life and the literary “game”, in particular in its romantic and ironic version, prolonged by Heine, then the Young Germany, constitutes the central element of the literary conceptions of Ruge, gradually building a sort of philosophical and political introduction to German literature. According to Ruge, the danger of German romanticism lies in the camouflage of a reactionary policy behind the charm of an ironic “game”. And the antidotes he opposes to the Heinean Witz and “lie” are the seriousness and sincerity of Börne and of the political poetry of the 1840s. And this at the heart of its own contradiction between democratic universalism and somehow antisemitic nationalism inherited from the backgrounds of the Burschenschaft.","PeriodicalId":41323,"journal":{"name":"ETUDES GERMANIQUES","volume":"161 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136238016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"文学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
