Gogoladze, Ketevan Barbakadze","doi":"10.18662/lumproc.159","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18662/lumproc.159","url":null,"abstract":"The lyrics of Besik (Besarion) Gabashvili (1750 – 1791), a poet of the royal court and a diplomat was quite popular in the Georgian poetry of the XVIII XIX centuries. Due to Georgian political events his fate got somehow related to the city Iaşi, Romania, where the poet is buried. In the period of activity of Georgian – Romanian relations, in the 70s of the XX century, a collection of poems “Armies of Sadness”, where the poet`s 25 poems are included, was translated into Romanian language by Georgian (G. Jinjikhashvili and L. Kochladze) and Romanian (Dumitru M. Ion) translators. Thus, we decided to focus on the lyrics of a famous poet Besarion Gabashvili, who is very popular among the Georgians and more or less familiar to the Romanians. He was the poet who finished the love lyrics, dictated by Eastern motifs, and marked with traditional Georgian signs; the lyrics, which is full of new metaphors, inspired to seek real, specific poetic faces from the “book-mannered” expression of love. The novelty, as the research showed us, is represented by an amazingly proper, highly artistic poetic word. Its sad disposition appeared to accompany the lyrics of Romanticists as well, and it did not lose its importance up to the present day. In the XX century, the lyrics of Besarion Gabashvili was taught in the secondary school for 70 years, and in the higher institutions his works are an integral part of the education course “Georgian Literature 1”. Dobrilă","doi":"10.18662/lumproc.155","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18662/lumproc.155","url":null,"abstract":"The new Romanian Civil Code changes the previous perspective of the institution of successional indignity, which was applicable, as a requirements in order to be able to inherit, only in cases of intestacy (ab intestat succession). In the New Civil Code (articles 958-961), successional indignity becomes a general condition for inheritance, applicable to both in cases of intestacy as well as in cases of succession by will. The institution of indignity has the effect of depriving the successor of the right to receive a determined succession belonging to a person to whom he has become undignified by committing serious actions, as limited by the legal norm. The article analyzes the particularities of the successional indignity and the New Civil Code unitary regulation of the indignity pertaining to legal heirs, and that applicable to successors by will. The article analyzes both the particularities of de jure indignity (ope legis, Article 958 of the New Civil Code) and the particularities of the judicial indignity, declared by the court of law (Article 959 of the New Civil Code), as well as the effects of inheritance. The article analyzes the possibility of removing the effects of indignity and the conditions for pardoning the undignified heir, with new implications regulated in Article 961 of the New Civil Code.","PeriodicalId":412284,"journal":{"name":"12th LUMEN International Scientific Conference Rethinking Social Action. Neacsa","doi":"10.18662/lumproc.167","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18662/lumproc.167","url":null,"abstract":"In this paper we analyse the charters of Govora Monastery, not only from the perspective of their contents, but also with an accent on the chancellery form of the documents. At the end of the 15th and during the 16th centuries the monasteries were not only a network of religious and economic centres, but also hubs of political power. Govora Monastery makes no exception and, after a flourishing period during the reins of Vlad the Monk and especially Radu the Great, it remained emblematic, for their descendants, as a foundation of the Drăculesti dynasty. These charters demonstrate that Govora’s prestige of princely foundation is used as a field of legitimacy discourse by the princes who ruled Wallachia in the 16th century (Neagoe Basarab, Radu from Afumati, Mircea the Shepherd, to mention just a few of them), keeping alive the memory of Radu the Great, and are also interesting because they preserve, like in a time capsule, fragments of the political struggles from the beginning of the 16th century, thus becoming true treasures of the social memory. The novelty of this type of research, even if it takes a lot of patience to do and is often challenging, is that the information discovered or infered from charters confirm, invalidate or explain historical events about which we have scarce knowledge from other sources. Such roles were to be played within the narrow confines of the house, symbolized by the domestic, private sphere. The ideal woman, the ‘angel in the house’, was seen as a pure, pious, weak, dependent, fragile, self-sacrificing wife and mother. She was bestowed the major role in raising the children and taking care of the house. Men, the bread-winners, belonged to the social or public sphere and were seen as active, independent, strong and dominant. The Portrait of a Lady, belonging to James’ early period of creation and regarded as one of his best novels, introduces a wide gallery of feminine and masculine characters: sisters and brothers, wives and husbands, mothers and fathers. Thus, Isabel Archer, Madame Merle, Lydia Touchett, Mrs. Osmond and Amy Gemini, apart from other roles played in the novel, appear, to a greater or lesser extent as mothers in James’ text. On the other hand, Daniel Tracy Touchett, Gilbert Osmond and Isabel’s father are attributed the role of paternal figures. To what extent do these characters comply with the parental roles attributed by the patriarchal 19th century Victorian society? How motherly are the mothers and how fatherly are the fathers that populate James’ novel? Because of the Ottoman Empire, the intellectual elite of Byzantine scholars started to come with their families, by sea, to Venice and Florence. We have some Scholars émigrés who influenced the culture and the thinking process of their time, in Italy. They were Manuel Chrysoloras, Georgios Gemisthos Pletho, and others. They brought thousands of manuscripts, and with Cosmos’s help, they achieved academic jobs. Even Marsilio Ficino recognized that The Platonic Academy in Florence was a project started with Gemistos Plethon, the famous Platonist professor. Also The Florence Council (1438 – 1439) was a cultural revelation between two different civilizations. By the presence of the Byzantine intellectuals in Italy, the Latins experienced a new form of meditation on the world and on the purpose of life. In particular, the return to Greek culture and ancient ideas triggered the desire of freedom in the Quattrocento thinkers. Some revolutionary ideas have taken shape in the aristocratic houses of Tuscany, Venice and Rome. It happens that some groups of scholars gather around Byzantine masters, such as Ioannes Arghyropoulos, or Bessarion. Thanks to the generosity of Cosmo de Medici and his family, many young people could afford a comfortable life dedicated to study and scientific research. Whether we refer to specialized support activities, to thematic ones (recreational), to sequences aimed at accelerating learning and performance or training for life, the result should focus on the harmonious development of the child child's personality. Achieving this goal would mean bringing the child / young man in a state of balance with himself and the other, preparing to successfully meet the challenges of life and of the modern society. The article analyzes the introduction by the Ministry of National Education of Romania of the National Program \"School after school\", as a new program, complementary to the compulsory school program, but different from the \"After school\" programs that previously functioned in the absence of a legal framework. The article highlights the educational content of the program and the legal framework for the program to run.
