It is considered that this big motion expresses the operator's agitation caused by the unexpected airframe motion. Thus we analyzed these motions using chaos time series analysis and researched structures of them. As the results, it was found that patterns of the big motion were divided into two kinds of types depending on condition. The difference between these types could be seen as values of the lyapunov exponents for the motion. According to relationship between the finger motion and the airframe motion, the lyapunov exponents of the finger motion is positive under intentional control, and is negative under unintentional control. The sudden big motion has negative lyapunov exponents. Since it is considered that this big motion expresses the operator's agitation, the agitation is identified with the finger motion.","PeriodicalId":411966,"journal":{"name":"2012 Proceedings of SICE Annual Conference (SICE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131297046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve robust and stable navigation, the employment of a laser range finder and a Kinect sensor enables a robot to recognize three-dimensional environments. By utilizing an acquired three-dimensional environment profile, a mobile robot can navigate an appropriate course, without colliding with obstacles. To confirm the validity of the proposed navigation algorithm, we developed a JAUS compliant navigation component. The validity of the proposed component is confirmed through preliminary experiments.","PeriodicalId":411966,"journal":{"name":"2012 Proceedings of SICE Annual Conference (SICE)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122929222","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This prediction is aim to predict the amount of the next day of generation using the previous data and the weather forecast which get from Japan Meteorological Agency. The procedure of prediction consists of two steps, the data processing and the unknown parameters estimation. In the data processing, our proposed method considers the characteristics of PV generation using cluster ensemble. We propose the cluster ensemble based on k-means to choose the groups with a correlation with previous data. In the unknown parameters estimation, we provide the regression model for PV generation and the unknown parameters are estimated via H∞ filtering. The effectiveness of the proposed prediction method is demonstrated through numerical simulations.","PeriodicalId":411966,"journal":{"name":"2012 Proceedings of SICE Annual Conference (SICE)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121521772","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This can be used for robots with various arm and leg forms. The developed Robot Motion Performance Platform is used for the motion performance by name-base to a motion command. In this paper, the realization of motion in a robot with two or more different types of control systems is described. In order to prove this, the experiment which performs a motion using the robot of two types is conducted. One of the robots which used for the experiment is a biped robot. Another is an arm robot. In addition, in this paper, the way in which motion mixing uses small amount of motion data to realize more motions is also discussed. It checked that motion mixing could be performed using two motion data. The result has checked that a new motion was performed by motion mixing.","PeriodicalId":411966,"journal":{"name":"2012 Proceedings of SICE Annual Conference (SICE)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-10-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115553167","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The feature space is generated using self-organizing maps and counter propagation networks. The training data input method and the number of dimensions of the CPN mapping space are investigated. The results clearly show that the input ratio of the training data should be constant for every emotion category and the number of dimensions of the CPN mapping space should be extended to effectively express a level of detailed emotion.","PeriodicalId":411966,"journal":{"name":"2012 Proceedings of SICE Annual Conference (SICE)","volume":"128 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131419943","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most sensorless control algorithms are based on speed estimations which are obtained from the voltage equations. This paper proposes a sensorless speed control of PMSM based on the Unscented Kalman Filter. The Unscented Kalman Filter theory can omit linearization process and prevent error problems due to the linearization compared to the Extended Kalman Filter. In the UKF for a sensorless speed control of PMSM, two stationary reference frame currents, speed, and rotor position are estimated. The proposed algorithm is demonstrated through the simulation and experiment.","PeriodicalId":411966,"journal":{"name":"2012 Proceedings of SICE Annual Conference (SICE)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132183051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
