This is aggressive in nature in this holding, pushing, catching, and jumping in fractions of second which directly increase the chances of injuries. This Research study gives a review on kabaddi game injuries. Using the information partners Google Scholar, The Web of Science, PubMed, SPORT Discus, MEDLINE, and Science immediate, a regressive review was conducted on kabaddi injuries using the following key-phrases in combination: Kabaddi, ACl, Sports Injury, kabaddi injury causes, prevention of injuries, combact sport, etc. Sports injuries in kabaddi led to the selection of 13 papers for regressive review. The most recent evidence suggested that Kabaddi is a game with a strong propensity for injuries. Injuries to the lower leg were considered to be more common in Kabaddi players after those to the knee. It was noted that mouth-guards do a fantastic job of preventing injuries, and playing techniques have improved. In the Indian context of this game, epidemiology studies and anticipatory techniques are absent. Therefore, injury prevention technique should be carried out for","PeriodicalId":411853,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Health","volume":"150 50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126197781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The conduct of this study was shown to determine the effectiveness of manipulative therapy and heat therapy in reducing pain, increasing range of motion and function of motion in cases of low back pain. This type of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest and pottest design. The sample in this study were chronic low back pain patients who came to Pak Eko \"Mafaza\" massage therapy workshop who were selected through inclusion and exclusion criteria, the sample was obtained by calculating the Slovin formula. Subjects received manipulative therapy in the form of massage and stretching for 20 minutes, followed by hot compresses for 20 to 30 minutes. The instruments used were visual analogue scale to measure pain scale, modified schober test to measure range of motion and modified schober test to measure motion function. The analysis technique in this study uses quantitative descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test is shown to test normally distributed data, while Wilcoxon signed rank is shown to test data that is not normally distributed with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that Manipulative therapy and heat therapy can reduce the pain scale p = 0.00 ( p < 0.05), increase the range of motion (ROM) p = 0.00 ( p < 0.05), and significantly improve movement function p = 0.00 ( p < 0.05), which means there is a significant effectiveness of manipulative therapy and heat therapy on pain reduction, increased range of motion (ROM), and motion function in patients with Low Back Pain (LBP).","PeriodicalId":411853,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Health","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127612943","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A total of 50 male jumpers were chosen as samples (n = 50) for data collection. The subjects are jumpers who represented and competed in intercollegiate and interuniversity championships. The selected subjects are between the ages of 18 and 25, and the study is restricted to the Dakshina Kannada district. For the purpose of data collection McGill’s torso muscular endurance test battery was used to measure the major spine stabilizing muscles. Using an advanced Excel workbook and a significance level of 0.05, the collected data was treated by mean, standard deviation, and t test. The study concluded that there is no difference in muscular endurance between the trunk flexion and trunk extensor muscles in male jumpers. The findings were represented using appropriate figures and tables.","PeriodicalId":411853,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Health","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128411919","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ankle injuries in basketball are among of the most frequent and serious injuries that can occur. An ankle injury accounted for more than half of the total time missed due to an injury in basketball, according to an Australian basketball study. Thus, it is clear that the understanding of injuries is important for the protection as well as the prevention of injuries. The proposed study tries to find out the common injuries and vulnerable part of injuries among basketball players so that further implementations can be done for prevention of injuries and betterment of the performances. A total of 100 players was selected by the researcher who participated in the inter-college, basketball championship for the proposed study. The questionnaire was developed with the help of panel of expert in the field for the required study. Percentage method was used by the researcher in order to get the result from the raw data and it was later exhibited in form of pie charts and tables with the help of MS Excel. Analyzing the data, the findings pertaining to questions related to common injuries have been presented from graphically in form of pie chart. When asked about the soft tissue injuries in basketball, 58% of the subject said sprain is the most common soft tissue injury that happens in basketball, 27% said strain is the most common injury in basketball and 15% said abrasion is the most common injury in basketball. The study concludes that soft tissues injuries are the most common and joint injuries are the least common injury in basketball, In soft tissue injury, sprain is the most common injury in basketball, In bone injury, oblique fracture is the most common fracture that occurs in basketball, In joint injury, sub-luxation is more common than luxation in basketball, The chances of getting an injury in the lower extremity is the highest and the middle part of the body is the lowest in basketball, In the lower extremity, the chances of injuries in ankle are the highest in basketball, In the upper extremity, the chances of injury in elbow are the highest in basketball, In the middle part of the body, the chances of injury in lower back are the highest in basketball.","PeriodicalId":411853,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Physical Education, Sports and Health","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132710711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
