Connecting EVs to distribution network to participate in dispatch has become an effective way to reduce the negative impact of EVs on the grid. For this reason, aiming at the uncertainty of the renewable energy considering EVs’ dual characteristics of the source and load, a data-driven two-stage robust optimization model of distribution network is built to find the economically optimal solution. The model uses norm constraints of the uncertainty probability distribution confidence set and flexibly adjusts the conservatism of the model through confidence level. The objective function of minimum cost is established, and the model is transformed into a mixed integer linear programming model and the model is iterated to obtain the optimal solution through the column-and-constraint generation algorithm. The simulation results showed that EVs can effectively reduce the distribution network daily operation cost. The operation cost in the randomly charging mode is higher than that in the orderly charging mode. The concern of global warming and environmental impact reinforces shifting from traditional power resources such as fossil fuel to renewable resources such as photovoltaic (PV) sources. The stochastic nature of PV power directly affects the stability of the grid. Therefore, PV power forecasting allows power stations to know before hand how much PV power will be available, which assists in ensuring that the grid remains in stabilized condition. Here, PV power from India is analyzed and predicted using machine learning methods. The main goal of this paper is to analyze power patterns and predict the future 15 minutes of PV power using random forest regression. The analysis shows that irradiance and ambient temperature have the highest correlation with the DC power. With the rapidly increase of the electric consumption and load capacity of the transformer, high hot-spot temperature has become one of the essential issues concerned by engineering manufacturers. The driven force of oil flow is thermal buoyancy in transformer for Oil Natural /Air Forced (ONAF) cooling mode, besides, the internal oil flow paths are complex. Therefore, the heat dissipation for ONAF transformers becomes a key index determining the loading power, and it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the oil flow distribution and temperature field. In this paper, the finite volume method is used to simulate the temperature and flow fields of a 110 kV ONAF transformer. The results show that the temperature inside transformer increases gradually with the height, and the hot-spot is found located below the low-voltage winding top. The velocity of oil in the vertical oil channels are greater than the horizontal oil channels between the coil discs. It is found that introducing washers in the transformer design can enhance the flow rate of horizontal oil channels and strengthening the heat dissipation of windings. This paper presents a Non-isolated MMC DC converter, which can be used for direct gathering and transmission of offshore wind power system. The topology structure can be connected to the HVDC grid with high voltage difference at low cost. The bipolar design meets the transmission needs of wind power system. The multiphase interleaving topology can inhibit the ripple of input current and output voltage, and its fault-tolerant operation control method meets the deep sea low maintenance level design needs. Based on the new topology, the phase shift modulation law and one-way power flow control scheme under multi working conditions are studied. Based on MATLAB/Simulink, the simulation analysis of the topology is carried out for steady state, dynamic and short circuit faults. The system adopts the SOA architecture, decouples the parameter verification system into four parts: data import, analysis, check, and output, and separately encapsulates it as a Web service interface. The service function is obtained by calling the interface, which solves the problem of high system coupling and difficult maintenance. By loading lightweight NPOI components to improve the efficiency of data import and various report generation; the system is deployed on the cloud computing platform, and the efficient computing power and disaster recovery performance of the cloud platform is used to improve system computing efficiency and security. The vehicle registration information is used to forecast the number of electric vehicles (EVs) in the area, while the GIS data are used to represent the whereabouts of electric vehicles. The number of EVs can be representatively characterized by the size of areas and the length of roads. The area-based approach requires fewer data and less computing effort and therefore is suitable for a broad overview of estimation, especially for urban areas. While the road-based approach gives more reasonable results for countryside areas such as a land with mountains and forests. In this paper, the method of determining the weight coefficient of evaluation index is discussed, and an improved rough set theory is proposed to determine the weight coefficient of distribution transformer state variables. To overcome the limitation of single detection method and improve the reliability of partial discharge detection, this study proposed a diagnosis approach based on multi-detection technology fusion of Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA), PD ultrasonic location and PD test of long-duration AC withstand voltage test. The effectiveness of the fusion detection method was confirmed by diagnosing of an internal discharge fault in a 110kV power transformer. Previous studies show that fixed-parameters VSG control strategy cannot adequately cope with the power changes, disturbances and frequency variation. On the other hand, a conventional adaptive strategy for VSG control is based on linear quantification, which limits the adaptivity of parameters. In this paper, a novel fuzzy adaptive approach based on the finite-time observer for VSG control is proposed and implemented in a microgrid system with energy storage system (ESS). The range of inertia is also considered.
