The pressures, however, have been hard to be produced by experiments because liquids form cavities easily through heterogeneous nucleation. To investigate the anticipation, solutions including two kinds of bacteria, namely Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia coli, were exposed to negative pressures repeatedly by a metal Berthelot tube which was designed newly. Then, numbers of colonies in bacteria which were cultured by a paper strip method and an agar dilute plate one were counted. Numbers of colonies which underwent negative pressures were less than those for non-treatment, and reduction rates of colonies increased with numbers of repetition.","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134532603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problems are considered for both Gaussian and fractional diffusion operators. For the fractional diffusion case, Riemann-Liouville operator with fractional order is used to describe the model with diffusion rate slower than normal time scale, which is known as sub diffusive problems. Due to this sub diffusive property, the existence and nonexistence behavior of the solution will be studied. Since the forcing term will experience a concentrated source at a sequence of time steps, the frequency, the time difference and strength of the source may affect the growth rate of the solution. Criteria for these effects which may cause for the quenching behavior of the solution will be given. The existence of the solution is investigated. The monotone behavior in spatial will be given. The quenching behavior of the solution will be studied. The location of the quenching point will be discussed.","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130366745","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Flashing instability is prominent in these systems at low pressure due to the presence of a long nonheated riser to enhance the driving force. RELAP5 code has been identified as one of the Best Estimate (BE) codes used in the analysis of the systems. The studies by different authors showed that the effects of system parameters on instability generally have gained the attention of researchers in recent years. However, these studies have not discussed how these parameters prevent or enhance the commencement of flashing instability. This we sought to achieve in this work, by zeroing in on the inception of flashing instability, by comparing what happened at different heat fluxes. The objective of this work is to investigate the effects of system parameters on the inception of flashing instability in a natural circulation system using the RELAP5 code. With the increase in inlet subcooling and height of the riser, flashing moved to the outlet of the riser, stabilizing the system. However, an opposite effect was observed with an increase in the inlet resistance.","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126319638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Such a production process is called magneto synthesis and it is successful when the principle of induced current took place. Oxygen produced from this newly discovered process possessed properties differently when compared to the photosynthesis process. This study can be made when the magneto synthesis process was carried out closed to the saturation point of oxygen dissolution equilibrium in aqueous water. At the saturation point, the exchange of oxygen atoms or molecules between these two processes has happened. This interchange state allowed a unique single steep-drop characteristic to be observed. The single steep-drop characteristic of the magneto synthesis process provides two pieces of evidence on the properties of oxygen; they are heavier by mass and higher by oxidative power. The unique properties as discovered are supported by Einstein’s Special Relativity Theory. In this matter, gamma-ray flashes are thought to produce when the hydrogen-electron pairs are formed. A mechanism where gamma-ray flashes could be produced was proposed and sufficient evidence for gamma-ray flashes to occur was outlined. The gamma-ray flashes are the clue in the inter-permutable between the mass and energy. This is the clue to let the special relativity theory take a place.","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130129767","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From data obtained from the Photovoltaic Geographic Information System (PVGIS), the solar electricity potential at some selected cities in Southern Nigeria that ranges from 4.5 to 6.5 kWh/m2 has been presented as a tool, which when properly harnessed, can be used to mitigate avoidable energy-related “national disasters” such as unemployment and youth-restiveness, thereby accelerating Nigeria’s development. There is the urgent need to revise and effectively implement helpful laws and policies that support the addition of renewable energy sources for electricity generation. Lack of a coherent legal framework with incentives for the utilization of renewable energy is among the key factors causing poor utilization of renewable energy in Nigeria. Governmental and stakeholder collaboration is highly necessary for developing countries to robustly track renewable electricity adoption via laws aimed at boosting its adoption.","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116533391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is situated in the southern part of the Vjosa River delta. Two canals in the northwest and southwest parts of the lagoon connect it to the Adriatic Sea. These artificial canals enable the water exchange process with the sea during tidal flow. Vjose - Narta area is considered a Protected Landscape, so environmental monitoring is important. Setting and design: Water samples were taken monthly, at six evenly distributed sample stations. The study was conducted from January – to December 2018. Materials and methods: The assessment of microbial contamination was performed with the MPN method. Total coliform, fecal coliform, and fecal streptococci were tested as fecal contamination indicators. PH and salinity were the physicochemical parameters analyzed. Conclusions: the cleanest sampling station is the one near contact with the seawater. The most polluted stations are stations 2, 4, and 6. Temperature values range from 5 oC in January to 33 oC in August. Lagoon pollution is caused by an anthropogenic factor as well as a lack of appropriate cleaning strategies.","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127207631","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Indeed, light integration in textiles is very challenging and thanks to their unique 1-D configuration for possible miniaturization in the lateral direction, light-emitting fibres are promising since they present higher flexibility and adaptability than planar devices and can be easily integrated into textile processes. Therefore, this work is dedicated to studying and optimising these structures to achieve flexibility, stability, suitability for large-scale production and their integration into textiles. 1-D light-emitting devices consisting of electroluminescent (EL) fibres with different structures will be studied. Although the dip-coating method presents several challenges, it turns out that this method is the most promising for the scalability of the process.","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114274220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has led to the structuring of a literature review that takes into account two main time spans: on the one hand, that of the 1960s-1970s (often called \"the golden age of school\"), investigated through the international architectural journals of that period, where the typology-technology problem emerges strongly; on the other hand, the selection (through Scopus, WoS, etc.) of current or recent studies and pedagogical experiences related to new technologies. The criterion for the choice of case studies is therefore based on their propulsive potential in relation to today's transformation needs, seeking to consider the school as an organism and not merely as a set of functional parts (as much current literature does).","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127243254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Machined parts of Inconel 718, a nickel-based alloy (aircraft material) are widely used in the aerospace industries. However, these alloys are expensive and difficult to machine. The objective of this article is to optimize AWJM process parameters. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) is planned with travel speed, abrasive flow rate, and stand-off distance as inputs. The response models of surface finish and cone angle show the correlation coefficient `R2` of 96.94% and 96.67%, respectively. 3D surface plot with analysis of variance (ANOVA) is presented to distinguish significant AWJM parameters. The work revealed that travel speed is a significant factor for surface finish and cone angle. Multi-response optimization results in the best optimal values of traverse speed; abrasive flow rate and standoff distance are 200 mm/min, 460 g/min, and 4 mm respectively. This research outcome showed more than 90 % of accuracy for both the responses. This article is helpful to the AWJM centers to select optimal machining parameters for achieving the desirability in the machining of Inconel 718. The obtained novel results confirmed that such a technique can be implemented to identify optimal parameters in the machining of different materials.","PeriodicalId":411113,"journal":{"name":"MATTER: International Journal of Science and Technology","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130212951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
