We present the designing of shielded two vertically coupled striplines and shielded two coupled striplines embedded in a dielectric material. We specifically determine the capacitance per unit length of shielded two coupled striplines. Excellent agreement with results obtained by previous investigators is demonstrated.","PeriodicalId":410786,"journal":{"name":"2008 IEEE Region 5 Conference","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126359271","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is done by means of presenting the measured impedance at the relaying point in the case of TCSC presence at the near end of the second circuit. The measured impedance at the relaying point is greatly influenced in the presence of TCSC on the line or even in the case of installing TCSC on the near end of the second circuit. The measured impedance depends on many factors including the power system structural conditions, pre-fault loading, the ground fault resistance, and TCSC compensation degree.","PeriodicalId":410786,"journal":{"name":"2008 IEEE Region 5 Conference","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-04-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129005949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
