She reported serious conflicts with her father ́s wife, including physical violence towards the patient, as well as lack of emotional support from the father, assumption of the role of caregiver of her younger brother and other household chores. These factors resulted in a feeling of emotional overload and helplessness that hindered any attempt to change. Cognitive-behavioural therapy based on psychological education, control, and anxiety management techniques, diaphragm breathing, and assertive communication, was implemented. Most cases appear de novo and are characterized by a heterogeneous symptomatology that usually includes hypotonia, developmental delay, congenital anomalies and alterations in behavior of various kinds that, in some cases, may be associated with autism spectrum disorders. Papers on psychological intervention and treatment of this syndrome are scarce. This paper describes the evaluation and intervention by Early Care carried out over a period of 18 months for a two-year-old child diagnosed with this syndrome. Calvo","doi":"10.5093/CC2019A11","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5093/CC2019A11","url":null,"abstract":"A component in the rehabilitation and community integration of the person with a severe mental disorder is the one aimed at favoring the finding and maintenance of their job. Within work environments, the analysis of psychosocial risks is essential. The objective of this work is to identify the factors that contribute to psychosocial risks. The sample was 175 workers (70% males), mostly schizophrenia-diagnosis (45.7%) and working as a laborer (49.1%). It is a multi-center study, transversal design, with a single sample. The variables measured were sociodemographic, labor, clinical and psychosocial risk (DECORE). Psychosocial risks are detected in issues such as reward and control. There are significant differences in the perception of psychosocial risks between the people who work in CEE and in the regular company in the scales of cognitive demands (t = -3.268, gl = 173, p < 0.05) and reward (t = 2.479, gl = 173, p < 0.05).
