Multiple cells tracking through fluorescence microscopy imaging is often challenged by many roadblocks including the severe image noise, adhesion among cells, and low resolution of image. To gain full dynamics of multiple cells, a novel raindrop and ripple optimization (RRO) algorithm is proposed for multiple cells tracking in low contrast image sequences in this paper. In the proposed RRO, concepts from the natural raindrop and ripple spreading phenomena, such as raindrop fall, ripple propagation and ripple decaying are employed metaphorically to design effective searching mechanisms for solving tracking problems. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the methods.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116016984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Within the proposed framework, the locations and the number of features can be jointly estimated and managed by random finite set. Besides, a real-time moving ant estimator (RMAE) is employed to estimate moving vehicle trajectory. Compared to the recently developed methods, the proposed algorithm uses the artificial ants to take place of particles to gather around their areas of interest through ants' positive feedback search function, and thus ensure the perfect implementation of the algorithm in robot operating system(ROS). Experimental results provide a better map as well as an improved estimate accuracy of the vehicle's trajectory for the proposed approach, and the performance is better than both the PHD-SLAM and the LMB-SLAM.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132522638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The control system is designed based on the dynamical characteristics of the converter and introduces two cascaded controllers. Firstly, output current controller designed in the stationary frame. The second is DC-link voltage controller. Also, Modified Direct Incremental Conductance Maximum Power Point Tracking (MDIC-MPPT) method is proposed for rapid and accurate maximum power point optimization allowing wide DC-link voltage and Shoot-Through (ST) duty ratio ranges, minimize the voltage stress on the inverter bridge, and prevent overlap between ST duty ratio and Modulation index (M). Simulation results are presented to validate the controller's design. The obtained results are encouraging and promising for practical implementation.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129162299","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its structure includes gas acquisition system, sensor array, signal conditioning circuit and data processing. Compared with other systems, it has the advantages of sensitive detection, simple operation, and high cost performance, etc. However, the materials of sensors are non-linear metal-semiconductor, the obtained odor information must also include non-linear characteristic. Traditional linear feature extraction algorithm can't extract the nonlinear characteristics, so this work proposed four manifold learning algorithms for extracting odor information characteristics. In order to verify feature extraction results, electronic nose measurement data based on the living Chinese mitten crab was processed. The prediction model based on support vector machine (SVM) algorithm according to the guide of the above classification was presented. Total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N) of the samples was measured and its results acted as reference information. Experimental results illustrated that the system based on electronic nose with manifold learning can assess the freshness of the living crab.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116306600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A dissipation-based constraint is additionally enforced to each MPC optimization of a control area — a subsystem within an interconnected system, to assure the overall system stability. A systematic tuning procedure for the enforced dissipation-based constraint is derived with a sequence of linear matrix inequality (LMI) optimizations. It is shown in numerical simulations that, not only the closed-loop stability, but the desirable performance of the AGC relatively to that of the centralized MPC is also obtained with the presenting decentralized MPC scheme.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122022591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An implementation method of distributed fusion based on maximum probability association (MPA), called MPA-DF, is presented. Though the performance of MPA-DF is a little worse than traditional Generalization Covariance Intersection (GCI) distributed fusion method, called GCI-DF, the former needs lower computational burden and better precision than every single sensor. The proposed fusion algorithm is implemented using Gaussian Mixture (GM) approximations and the numerical results show its performance.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"184 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134099090","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Labeled RFS formulation of the multi-object state naturally accommodates a time-varying number of objects, track labels, and false positive rejection in a single Bayesian framework. The proposed algorithm exploits appearance feature information for the purpose of learning an object's appearance model, and uses this additional information in the construction an augmented likelihood which improves performance and facilitates track re-initialization. This approach enhances the baseline tracking algorithm and shows better performance with respect to mis-detections, occlusions and false track rejection. Competitive tracking results are shown compared to state-of-the-art algorithms on PETS benchmark [1] video datasets.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133639371","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We propose a novel algorithm to cover the many-to-one measurements-to-track association where the linear multitarget integrated track splitting algorithm is extended to accommodate for multiple detection target tracking using measurement partition method. After measurement-selection, measurement cells, where one measurement cell may contain one or many measurements treated as possible target detections, are generated by measurement partition method. Then the data associations and track components generation for each track are based on these measurement cells. The data association complexity of the proposed algorithm is linear in the number of tracks and measurement cells. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the benefit.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128423679","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is one of multi-input multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear systems affected by disturbances. The operation of the non-isothermal CSTR is disturbed by external factors such as changes in the inlet concentration and temperature. Therefore, the two difficult issues in CSTR control are tracking trajectory and external disturbance attenuation. In this paper, a robust fuzzy tracking control via Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) MIMO systems is designed to robustly stabilize the non-isothermal CSTR system for both concentration and temperature schemes exposed to external disturbances. Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy approach for describing nonlinear model with several local linear models is proposed, and using a technique called Parallel Distributed Compensation (PDC), we derive LMI conditions for analyzing robust stability and performance based on Lyapunov functions, and a criterion is employed to guarantee the attenuation of disturbances. In trajectory tracking framework, an integral action is introduced as a new state variable. Finally, simulation results are given to prove that the proposed technique ensures the stability conditions and guarantees robustness against external disturbance with a good trajectory tracking.","PeriodicalId":410094,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Control, Automation and Information Sciences (ICCAIS)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116786669","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
