In this first revision since 2003, aggregate quality standards were revised and new chemical composition analysis methods were added. Based on “Guidance for introducing environmental aspects in construction sector standards” Annex I: “Guidance for introducing environmentally sound quality of chemicals and inspection method to slag aggregate for concrete” established by the Technical Committee on Civil Engineering and the Technical Committee on Architecture under the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee's Standards Board in July 2011, environmental safety and quality standards and inspection methods were established. This paper describes the main revisions. {"title":"Physical Properties of Crushed Stone Powder Influencing the Properties of Concrete","authors":"T. When this powder is mixed in a part of the aggregate and for the effective resources, it influence the properties of the concrete. Given that there is a variety of powder materials and manufacturing methods, there is a need to clarify the physical properties of powder that affect the properties of concrete. With particular focus on crushed stone powder, this paper outlines the authors research applied to paste, mortar and porous concrete. At the beginning of each volume of the 2007 version of the Specifications, a section entitled “On the Application of the Specification” was provided to cover the basic concept regarding the organization of the Specifications including the roles and placement of engineers in charge, and the systems for ensuring reliability of concrete structures, among other things.
