It may be prudent to use automated solutions for various driving-related infrastructures, as human error is the leading cause of accidents. Drivers have difficulty starting their vehicles on slopes due to load and clutch releasing issues, resulting in vehicle back rolling. A pressure holding braking system for steep inclines is designed and implemented in this article to prevent accidents on hill slopes. It detects the angular position of the vehicle using an accelerometer. During the up-climbing portion, the vehicle's back movement is protected by using a timer application to maintain break pressure when the driver releases foot from clutch to accelerator in the vehicle. The proposed prototype includes the slope detection, pressure holder and pressure release system. First the accelerometer measures the vehicle slope angle, which is then passed to the microcontroller for further process by either applying a constant pressure in the brake system for a while (driver shift the legs from brake to accelerometer) or normal condition to follow. When the time delay is over, the pressure holds up in the braking system gets released and the vehicle will move forward. In hills, it is very useful for new drivers driving the vehicle in hill stations during heavy traffic periods. By implementing this method in the braking system, the newly driving people in hill station are highly benefitted and easy to extend in old vehicles to avoid accident possibilities when compared to the normal vehicle system.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131423565","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Millions of global deaths and suffering could be averted through early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases necessitating the crucial need for technological innovations. Therefore, novel techniques are required urgently for this international humanitarian cause potential to saving numerous lives every day. With this in mind, a new technique based on Deep learning and Machine learning models has been presented. Neurodegenerative diseases (NDD) are caused by brain dysfunctions, triggering severe walking abnormalities. Human gait analysis distinguishes people using their walking style, which indicates the unique walking pattern of an individual. Personal examinations are vital in individual disease identifications, however intelligence-based systems are proficient in precise diagnosis of distinct Neurodegenerative Diseases than conventional approaches. The study data comprises gait patterns of Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and healthy control subjects. The proposed system recognizes gait patterns with utmost precision, distinguishing NDD using a remarkable gait analysis method. Hence, to extract optimal gait features ensuring accurate disease identification, this study proposes Triblock Convolutional Neural Network architecture and compact Deep Recurrence Quantification Analysis (TBCNN_DRQA) techniques. The Machine learning classifier helps in the categorization and disease diagnosis using feature vectors of TBCNN_DRQA. The TBCNN_DRQA technique with random forest classifier, achieves in identifying NDD with 99.96% higher accuracy. The results certain the precision and reliability of the proposed technique, thereby effectuating advanced identification of disease types thereby aiding doctors to start effective early treatment and rehabilitation.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131781032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This new trend has paved its path for students to easily gain access to a variety of educational instructors across the globe. But online education comes with its own potential and challenges. Factors like high availability, flexibility, and affordability of the online learning platforms add to the effective deliverance of the content in this progressive present-day online learning. Some key disadvantages are lack of powerful conveyance of content to listeners and sequential navigation of videos. Linearly searching for specific topics through long videos is a common problem that students face, while learning from the internet. This research study proposes a novel approach to promote the application of non-sequential navigation of videos by identifying key-topics and automatically generating timestamps. The model utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) techniques for determining the key topics from the video. Timestamps are identified for the keywords before they are uttered, using a novel algorithm for audio indexing. Finally, timestamps are successfully generated for every keyword. Through this study, the objective of non-sequential navigation of videos using a new audio-indexing algorithm is achieved.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116475868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compression stockings are frequently advised by medical professionals to enhance circulation, stop varicose veins from getting worse, and alleviate pain or discomfort. Leg chronic venous illness affects a large portion of the world's population. Varicose vein prevalence estimates range greatly, from 2 to 56% in males and 1-60% in females aged 18-64 years. Chronic vein disorders can be fatal for patients with diabetes if left untreated. The proposed device massages the lower limb very gently and carefully by providing optimal pressure. The pressure given to the cuff is controlled by the hand-operated controller. This devised technique improves circulation which involves short strokes to move blood from the valves to the veins. The ankle and lower leg get rhythmic air pressure from these unique pressure cuffs. They can minimize leg edema and aid in blood flow improvement.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130213124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With increased population destruction, the probability of accidents increases due to improper infrastructure of roads, drainage systems, and manhole blocks. The proper manhole system should use in cities. Proper manual monitoring of maintenance holes by scavengers is a dangerous job in today’s polluted cities it may impact their health and may lead to death. Without being well in, formed the situation manholes may take a way to death. To keep safe this proposed model, aim to provide an automated manhole system that measures temperature, humidity, and harmful gases using sensors and updates this information using IoT applications. In the past few years, many non-linear activation functions have been proposed, but they have several shortcomings, making deep neural network models inefficient. The drawback of these functions can be in the form of vanishing gradient, dying neuron and gradient explosion, etc. To handle all these problems, this research work has proposed a novel activation function called SaRa (Swish and ReLU Activation), a hybrid function based on Swish and ReLU function. The proposed activation function's performance is validated on the ISIC archive dataset using a transfer learning-based Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model for melanoma skin cancer classification. It is shown that the proposed function outperforms other activation functions in terms of training validation and classification performance.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"102 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131030708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As individuals breathe in excessive levels of pollution, the accompanying smoke and haze can travel great distances and cause public health emergencies. Uncontrolled wildfires destroy property and natural tourist attractions, contaminate water supplies, and cripple economies every year, resulting in billions of dollars in economic harm. The predominant aim of this work is to preserve the environment and prevent forest fire through monitoring the ambient conditions, mapping fire prone zones. In order to do so, a sensory unit which is capable of performing regular assessment of location is discussed. Nowadays, when we want to buy something from a store, it’s critical for us because we have to wait for two reasons. The first step is to inspect the purchased item. The second step is to make the payment. Nowadays, shopping is essential, and it becomes even more complicated during festival seasons. People find it difficult to shop physically because all of the stores are overcrowded, and also people have to wait in line for a long time to verify the items purchased and pay bills. This research study proposes a novel system to easily handle these complexities. IoT connects the system to the user’s mobile device and a computer available in the shop. All the details are updated in both the mobile application and server once an item is added in the cart with the price and total amount. The payment link is added once they complete shopping, so user can pay with ease and there will be no waiting time in the queue to verify the amount and the list of items purchased.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"284 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132160122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Even though it is deemed to be affected by the taint from the environment. Leakage current is present in almost every high voltage apparatus including insulators, bushings, cables and lines even in clean and polluted conditions. As the pollution level rises, the harmonics caused by the leakage current become more pronounced, which is now the challenge faced in many of the insulator maintenance. This condition on the CPI can be used in this study to assess how contaminated the insulators are above them, which over time can cause breakage, flashover, and even transmission line failure. The odd harmonic component, such as the third, fifth, seventh, and ninth along with the breakdown voltage of the insulator is used as an indication, and the value of the ratio between them is fed to the fuzzy network. This computation model allows the prediction of an accurate pollution level on the insulators.","PeriodicalId":407202,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Automation, Computing and Renewable Systems (ICACRS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114291040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
