The creation of clear and convenient routes allows organizing tourism activities and reducing the chaotic load on the environment. Raising altitude is the most important parameter for planning sporting events and challenging hiking and cycling routes. The article discusses the results of comparing the GPS height indicator of a navigator and a cycling computer with GPS function, carried out based on the results of experimental measurements in a complex of rough and wooded mountainous terrain. The measurement results showed a large and not constant difference in the determination of the height by various instruments, which often do not equal with the data of topographic maps. This problem requires additional research for its precise definition.","PeriodicalId":406993,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Engineering Management of Communication and Technology (EMCTECH)","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116096836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Varlamov","doi":"10.1109/EMCTECH53459.2021.9619166","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/EMCTECH53459.2021.9619166","url":null,"abstract":"To create efficient telecommunication systems we need efficient telecommunication devices. The most energy-consuming element of any radio transmitting equipment is the radio frequency (RF) power amplifier (PA). The highest efficiency of a RF PA can be achieved when its elements operate in switching modes namely in classes D, E, F. Modern efficient telecommunication signals use simultaneous amplitude and phase modulation. Switching PA cannot directly amplify variable amplitude signals. To solve the problem various “synthetic” methods of linear amplification are used. The most promising of these are Kahn method (EER-Envelope Elimination and Restoration). To increase the transmission speed it is necessary to expand the bandwidth of the used frequencies, which is limited by the pulse width modulation (PWM) amplifier of the EER PA envelope path. Multiphase PWM is one way to solve this problem. The use of multiphase PWM in the EER PA envelope path can effectively reduce unwanted PWM conversion products. This will increase the effective bandwidth of amplified frequencies. The article defined efficiency of unwanted components suppression in multiphase PWM, depending on the number of LPF elements for a different number of phases. The requirements for acceptable channel asymmetry in multiphase PWM have been determined. They are quite high and should be taken into account when designing practical devices.","PeriodicalId":406993,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Engineering Management of Communication and Technology (EMCTECH)","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124059744","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After expanding operations internationally, the distributed engineering teams developing hardware and software for internet of things applications, face issues regarding culture, communication, leadership, project planning and management. Relevant literature addressing these issues is presented. We elaborate on already implemented measures for improving the overall efficiency and propose further processes introduced in recent literature that can be beneficial for further optimizing the new product development. Potential knock-on effects by such implementation are also discussed.","PeriodicalId":406993,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Engineering Management of Communication and Technology (EMCTECH)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132020403","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study presents an experiment to determine the characteristics of the high-pressure injection fuel system in the dependence of the duration and pressure in the rail line. The obtained properties are applied for CFD modeling to controls the combustion process of diesel engines in power plants. Results show that the combustion process of the engine is controlled when the fuel injection pressure, as well as, boost pressure are changed. The engine not only has higher power and efficiency, but also the amount of nitrogen oxides emissions decreases but the amount of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions increases as the fuel injection pressure, the boost pressure increase. Results obtained from the research are the basis for applying the engine.","PeriodicalId":406993,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Engineering Management of Communication and Technology (EMCTECH)","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124055038","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, we focus on problem where the knowledge of interest is both factual and procedural. We show that in these context information sharing among peers is central, but that it is hard to effectively share, collect and aggregate information in a way that it is useful to information consumer. We also show that the key to achieving this is embracing the notion of context-specific process beliefs.","PeriodicalId":406993,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Engineering Management of Communication and Technology (EMCTECH)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121193296","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
