This indicate that there is a problem with the component and can disrupt the pilot and delay the aircraft. Knowing the result of failure identification and the type of failure be the aim of this research. Analysis using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis used to identify failure modes, causes and effects of failure, severity, occurrence, and detection ranking so that the risk priority number obtained. Dengan kebutuhan operasional penerbangan yang padat, kemampuan kapasitas muat pesawat yang diijinkan dan kekuatan runway dalam menerima pembebanan pesawat pada saat takeoff maupun landing. Maka penelitian ini dititik beratkan pada analisa berat operasional pesawat terbang terhadap kemampuan kekuatan runway di Bandar Udara Tanjung Api Ampana dengan menggunakan perhitungan ACN – PCN. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ACN-PCN serta metode ARFL. Hasil menunjukkan hubungan antara berat take-off pesawat, PCN, serta panjang landasan. Pada analisa maksimum berat operasional yang dibatasi PCN didapatkan nilai maksimum yang diijinkan di Bandara tersebut dengan batasan kekuatan runway sesuai dengan jenis dan tipe pesawatnya. Hasil analisa runway strength didapatkan pada semua jenis dan tipe pesawat sesuai dengan operasional penerbangan di Bandar Udara Tanjung Api Ampana dapat menggunakan nilai maximum takeoff mass yang telah ditetapkan pada Tabel ACN Jeppesen. Dan berdasarkan analisis, panjang runway untuk pesawat ATR 500, CESSNA 208, dan HERCULES C-130 dapat dilayani oleh Bandara Tanjung Api Ampana dengan panjang runway nya. This technology can help farmers in carrying out their daily activities to repel bird pests on agricultural land. However, people have difficulty understanding how to use UAVs. So, with this simulation, it is hoped that it can help farmers and producers understand the workings of the eagle-x aircraft. The simulation is made using 3Ds Max software which functions to create all 3D objects and also uses Unity software to create animations and simulations. Pada prinsipnya penyulingan merupakan cara sederhana untuk mendapatkan air bersih melalui proses penyulingan air kotor. Dalam proses distilasi, terdapat proses perpindahan panas, penguapan, dan kondensasi. Pada percobaan ini akan membuat alat destilasi air sederhana dengan menggunakan alat dan bahan yang terbuat dari stainless steel, styrofoam 2, aluminium foil, lakban hitam, lakban bening, kaca 28x34 cm. (tebal 3 mm), tipe ganda, gunting, pemotong, penggaris, dan air keruh. Hasil pengujian diperoleh dengan cara mengumpulkan data dengan cara mengkompromikan alat destilasi yang sudah berisi baskom stainless steel berisi air keruh di Desa Way Huwi.Kemudian udara ditempatkan di bawah sinar matahari. Pengambilan data suhu dan volume dilakukan mulai pukul 08.00 s/d 17.00 WIB. Dari data percobaan dapat diketahui bahwa efisiensi alat pada volume 1000 ml adalah 13,2%, pada volume 500 ml memiliki efisiensi 10,8%, dan pada volume 300 ml memiliki efisiensi. sebesar 10,3%. Kemudian ketebalan kaca yang digunakan sebagai penutup juga mempengaruhi efisiensi alat distilasi udara, dan ketebalan kaca yang efisien adalah 3 mm. Untuk mendapatkan data yang baik yang diperlukan sinar matahari yang terik. Semakin panas sinar matahari yang mengenai alat destilasi udara maka semakin cepat proses penguapan dan semakin banyak volume udara suling.Kemudian ketebalan kaca yang digunakan sebagai penutup juga mempengaruhi efisiensi alat distilasi udara, dan ketebalan kaca yang efisien adalah 3 mm. Delaminasi tinggi bisa mengakibatkan kekuatan struktur yang berkurang. Dalam penelitian ini, akan dilakukan drilling dengan parameter permesinan yang sesuai dalam kaedah permesinan, selanjutnya dilakukan observasi citra makro terhadap lubang yang dihasilkan. Pengujian dilakukan pada material serat gelas 5 layer, dengan pahat drilling diameter 6.3 mm. Parameter drilling menggunakan variasi putaran mesin 1860 rpm, 2920 rpm, 4540 rpm, dan kecepatan pemakanan vertikal (plunging) 0.038 m/menit, 0.067m/menit. Didapatkan hasil nilai terendah delaminasi didapat pada spindle speed 1860 RPM dan plunging rate 0.038 rev/min sebesar 1.24. This study aims to determine the tensile strength of the fiber composite of sea pandan leaves based on the manufacturing method and the direction of the fiber used. Composite manufacture using Hand Lay Up and Vacuum Bag methods. The direction of the fiber used is 00 and 900. Tensile test is based on ASTM D3039. The results showed that the composites made using the Vacuum Bag method had a higher tensile strength than the composites made using the Hand Lay Up method, which was 16.54 MPa for the 00 fiber direction and 13.60 MPa for the 900 fiber direction. In designing the wing structure of aircraft, the weight factor and the strength of the wing structure are factors that need to be considered. The use of sandwich composite materials on UAV wings is expected to be able to meet the requirements of UAV aircraft, namely having a light weight, having high rigidity and strength. In this study, a comparative analysis the strength of the sandwich composite wing structure with the balsa wood wing of the UAV VTOL VX-2 aircraft was carried out. The steps taken are to model the composite wing structure of sandwiches and balsa wood using CATIA. Performing the process of structural analysis using ANSYS software. Both half-span models are subjected to lift and vertical take-off loads. From the analysis results, the sandwich composite wing (glass fiber skin with styrofoam core) is stronger than the balsa wood wing structure under vertical take off loads. Proses FSW memanfaatkan putaran dari tool yang menggesek dua buah lempengan logam yang akan disambung. Aluminium 2024 T3 dengan ketebalan 4 mm disambung menggunakan proses FSW dengan variasi feedrate yang digunakan 13 mm/menit, 15 mm/menit, dan 25 mm/menit, kecepatan putaran spindle 910 rpm dan kedalaman pin 3 mm. Pengujian yang dilakukan adalah pengujian tarik, kekerasan dan uji struktur mikro pada masing-masing variasi pengelasan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan tarik dan regangan tarik tertinggi terjadi pada pengelasan dengan feedrate 25 mm/menit sebesar 221,51 MPa dan 3,60. Kemudian kekuatan tarik dan regangan tarik terendah terjadi pada pengelasan dengan feedrate 13 mm/menit sebesar 198,63 MPa dan 2,26. Nilai kekerasan tertinggi di area nugget zone dihasilkan pada pengelasan dengan feedrate 25 mm/menit yaitu sebesar 137 VHN dan nilai kekerasan terendah dihasilkan pada pengelasan dengan feedrate 13 mm/menit yaitu sebesar 105 VHN. Dalam hal ini, metode ACN-PCN dan ARFL digunakan pada algoritma yang dibuat. Algoritma kemudian diimplementasikan pada kode program yang ditulis dengan GNU Octave dan dicoba untuk dijalankan dengan menggunakan data bandar udara Depati Amir serta tiga jenis pesawat berbeda, yaitu ATR 72, Boeing 737-800, dan Boeing 777-300ER.
