Las fuentes sobre las que se ha llevado a cabo la tarea de investigación que ha permitido concluir el resultado que se expone, han sido, exclusivamente, los textos de la antigüedad griega y latina que tratan de la descripción de las constelaciones desde la perspectiva de la mitología. Estos contenidos son los que dan pie a las figuras constelares representantes de los distintos protagonistas que merecieron subir al cielo y permanecer allí por toda la eternidad, debido a las particulares circunstancias que confluyeron sobre ellos. El atributo que ilustra a la figura que lo contiene, siendo un elemento secundario y subordinado de aquella, se convierte aquí en el protagonista del estudio. Para facilitar el conocimiento del lugar que la figura, de cada momento, ocupa en la esfera de las estrellas fijas en relación con sus compañeras, se ha incorporado un planisferio celeste que actúa como referencia.","PeriodicalId":40541,"journal":{"name":"Eikon Imago","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79933458","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Estas esculturas forman una serie amplia, hasta ahora inédita en la bibliografía artística, en la que se pueden deducir las claves creativas y la evolución artística del autor. Igualmente hay que considerar que al menos seis de estas representaciones se encuentran entre las obras claves de la producción religiosa andaluza de las dos primeras décadas del siglo XXI, por lo que es necesario darlas a conocer haciendo las valoraciones oportunas.","PeriodicalId":40541,"journal":{"name":"Eikon Imago","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80282069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To justify our iconographic interpretations in this sense, we based on the analysis of many exegetical comments with which many Latin Fathers and theologians interpreted several metaphorical expressions with dogmatic projection, such as domus Sapientiae, domus Dei, aula regia, palatium Regis, domicilium Trinitatis, and other analogous terms. As a methodological strategy, we use here a double comparative analysis: in the first instance, analyzing a series of patristic and theological texts that exegetically interpret the metaphors above; secondly, relating these exegetical texts with the eight Annunciations explained here.","PeriodicalId":40541,"journal":{"name":"Eikon Imago","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81985549","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is possible that the god is the first known image of the syncretic double god Re-Osiris. The deity (with a head unusually for Egyptian iconography unfolded in full face) is shown sitting on a throne with the inscription “millions (of years)”. The image of this god could be a visual display of the eschatological plot described in Spell 1130 of the Coffin Texts (the union of Atum(-Re) and Osiris after destruction of the Universe) at the end in the Book of Two Ways, that is represented on the bottom of Sepi’s coffin.","PeriodicalId":40541,"journal":{"name":"Eikon Imago","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79254723","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Se presta atención tanto a las imágenes que forman parte del flujo mediático contemporáneo, concretamente las imágenes virales y su circulación a través de las redes, como a las prácticas artísticas activistas occidentales. Se propone el concepto de “necroimágenes” para comprender las relaciones que posibilitan el ver y no ver ciertas imágenes, quiénes son los sujetos representados en ellas y qué papel juegan. Al analizar los casos de estudio seleccionados, nos preguntamos hasta qué punto resulta adecuada la utilización de este tipo de imágenes para la representación de los individuos no hegemónicos y la eficacia que puede tener su visualización para la concienciación y para las reivindicaciones políticas que se persiguen desde las mismas obras y discursos artísticos.","PeriodicalId":40541,"journal":{"name":"Eikon Imago","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.1,"publicationDate":"2021-02-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81845811","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
