A new model reference approach had been proposed to damp driveline oscillation during tip-in manoeuvre. Then, this paper compared this proposed controller with the current active driveline controllers in this field, state space based torque control and PID speed control. The results of simulation are presented in figures. It was concluded that the new model reference controller had better performance in certain circumstances.","PeriodicalId":405363,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2014 International Conference on Modelling, Identification & Control","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116421614","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on reasonable assumption, using the combustion model and gas state equation of dispersing gunpowder, the motion equation of submunition, and the energy-conservation equation of dispersing system, the interior ballistic mathematical model of the submunition static dispersing can be established. With the simulation model and Arbitrary Lagrange-Euler (ALE) algorithm, the change laws of acceleration, velocity and displacement of the submunition are obtained by the numerical simulation on the process of static dispersing. Experimental results are shown basically the same as the simulation results.","PeriodicalId":405363,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2014 International Conference on Modelling, Identification & Control","volume":"669 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124564085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Any load-generation imbalance that occurs in a power network, causes the frequency to deviate from its nominal value. During such transient conditions it is important to use a method to decrease frequency fluctuations and recover the power quality to network normal condition as quickly as possible. There are several solutions for frequency regulation. One of them is to use energy storage system (ESS) capacity to compensate the power shortage and load disturbances. Electric vehicles (EVs) can be seen as a mobile and controllable storage unit and the battery capacity can be used as a backup for power networks. The reverse flow of energy from vehicle to grid (V2G) can participate in frequency regulation. This paper presents a distributed fuzzy logic control (FLC) design for V2G application in frequency regulation. With FLC the power flow from the EVs to the grid is adjusted based on regulation demand and state of charge (SOC) of the vehicle battery.","PeriodicalId":405363,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2014 International Conference on Modelling, Identification & Control","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124129314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The elastic vibration of the wing will have a great influence on rigid-body degrees of freedom (DoF) for the aircraft. The 6-DoF model of flight dynamics, which is under the traditional rigid-body assumption, cannot describe coupling effects of the rigid-body and elastic degrees of freedom. To solve this problem, the aircraft needs to be taken as an elastomer free in space to establish its dynamic model, which is studied based on the second class Lagrange's equation in this paper. By this modeling method, complete kinetic equations of FWA are derived under the mean axes condition, and the unsteady aerodynamic is included in the equations. Unsteady aerodynamic is calculated by two-dimensional Theodorsen's theory. And strip theory assumption is used to simplify the calculation. To analyze the influence of the unsteady aerodynamic on the structure vibration of the wing, the time-domain response characteristics of wing structure with and without unsteady aerodynamic are compared in this paper by numerical calculation. And the results show that the unsteady aerodynamic will cause great damping effect.","PeriodicalId":405363,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2014 International Conference on Modelling, Identification & Control","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127647802","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The practical problems contain two difficulties. First difficulty is that friction affects the performance of it. In this paper, the friction is divided into three components, nonlinear term including static friction and coulomb friction, Stribeck effect and linear term including viscous friction. Nonlinear friction and Stribeck effect are considered as disturbance. These are compensated by designing controller including integrator and loop shaping. In contrast, linear term friction can be considered in framework of linear control synthesis. Second difficulty is that the change in mass of load affects the system response. Moreover, the experiment shows viscous friction coefficient varies. The controller is designed to guarantee the robust stability for uncertain parameters, which are the mass of load and the viscous friction coefficient. It is designed by using descriptor representation, polytopic representation and linear matrix inequality. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulations and experiments.","PeriodicalId":405363,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2014 International Conference on Modelling, Identification & Control","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122233059","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
