This study aims to analyze regional fiscal dependence, analyze regional fiscal dependence related to the dominant business sector, and analyze the ratio of regional taxes and retribution to GRDP. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative analysis, through the calculation of the Fiscal Autonomy Index. The results of the study indicate that the value of the fiscal dependence of the regions studied is in a high dependency status or not yet independent, except for Metro City which in 2021 managed to increase its status to become self-reliant. Furthermore, all regions with dominant primary business sectors, have a high dependency status. The ratio of regional taxes and retribution to GRDP, in all regions studied is still very low. Efforts that need to be made by local governments to increase regional fiscal independence include calculating the real potential of regional taxes and retribution, developing potential sectors in increasing regional tax and retribution sector revenues, utilizing information technology, adjusting regional taxes and retribution, accelerating regional investment, developing local economy, and increased infrastructure capital spending.","PeriodicalId":405068,"journal":{"name":"EKO-REGIONAL: Jurnal Pembangunan Ekonomi Wilayah","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130099952","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In these conditions, Cirebon Regency's closeness is very advantageous for the expansion of natural tourism. Nevertheless, despite lacking a coastline, Banyumas Regency still manages to attract tourists, especially those drawn to eco-tourism. This research used a variety of methodologies. The qualitative analysis seeks to identify policy priorities for the development of natural tourism, the role of local government, and the condition of the roads, the quantitative analysis compares Cirebon and Banyumas Regencies and looks at the impact of tourism-supporting conditions on the potential for natural tourism development. Results of regression and correlation analysis show that the supporting conditions for tourism affect potential for tourism development. The t-test analysis reveals that residents of Banyumas Regency (13%) are more prone than residents of Cirebon Regency (10%) to favor the expansion of nature tourism. Based on the results of this analysis, several recommendations can be made to increase the potential for nature tourism in Cirebon Regency (1) making natural tourism destinations more accessible; (2) improving the infrastructure, particularly the roads leading to these locations; and (3) strengthening role of local governments in the development of natural tourism in Cirebon Regency","PeriodicalId":405068,"journal":{"name":"EKO-REGIONAL: Jurnal Pembangunan Ekonomi Wilayah","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133059635","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

ICT development has been widely studied and well understood, but its impact on income inequality is less well documented. Therefore, this study used a panel data set in 34 provinces in Indonesia during 2013-2020 to examine the impact of ICT development on income inequality. The econometric Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) with the estimation model of the System GMM showed that higher ICT development (Information and Communication Technology Development Index) reduces income inequality (Gini Ratio). This implies that ICT development does not contribute to exacerbating income inequality. However, it could play a role in mitigating and reducing income inequality in Indonesia. Socio-economic and political factors are also important in reducing income inequality. Therefore, redistribution policies and government spending are crucial to reducing income inequality due to ICT development. These policies must be adapted to the needs of each region for ICT development.","PeriodicalId":405068,"journal":{"name":"EKO-REGIONAL: Jurnal Pembangunan Ekonomi Wilayah","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129251262","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During the 2015-2021 period, Indonesia's poverty was dominated by rural areas. One of the efforts to overcome poverty is to provide access to infrastructure for the poor. Indonesia's poverty predominates in rural areas with minimal access to basic infrastructure. This study aims to analyze: (1) the effect of educational infrastructure on rural poverty; (2) the influence of health infrastructure on rural poverty; (3) Development Village Index moderates the effect of the number of schools and the number of health facilities on rural poverty. Social infrastructure is measured based on educational infrastructure (number of elementary school, junior high school, high school, and university buildings) and health infrastructure (number of hospital buildings and public health center), while poverty is measured by the percentage of rural poverty. The data source used is from the results of a national scale survey, namely the village potential 2018-2021. The analytical method uses multiple linear regression models and moderation tests. The results of the analysis show that the number of schools has a negative and significant effect on rural poverty, while the number of health facilities has a positive and significant effect on rural poverty. And based on the results of the moderation test that development village index is a moderating variable that can strengthen the relationship between the number of schools and the number of health facilities to rural poverty in Indonesia. Based on these findings, government support is needed in education assistance which will help increase access to education for poor families and improve the quality of health services that can reach most of the poor.","PeriodicalId":405068,"journal":{"name":"EKO-REGIONAL: Jurnal Pembangunan Ekonomi Wilayah","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133386988","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
